The twin kingdom's of Warthral and Zarthral. They are strongly united despite being seperate kingdoms. Their techniques are unknown as they only share it amongst themselves.
This is their first time showcasing their abilities to other kingdoms. The other participants are going to have a difficult time handling them if the rumours are true. The leaders of the kingdom's as well as all members of the audience had finally arrived.
The Queen of Zalphtalia used her restoration magic to fully heal Avawrath. “It's best that we all are in our best shape” said Queen Justine.
After speaking to the rulers of the other kingdoms, Kodon announced that the trials of Veridonia, now begin! There was a massive screen created by magic that displayed the battle areas to the audience so that they could always follow the action.
“You won, so you lead,” said Avawrath to Raylon. “Very well. My abilities were too well scouted in my previous fight, so I'm going to do some scouting of my own. You and Taya go ahead” said Raylon. They nodded in agreement.
Meanwhile, the kingdom of Sadhala ran into the kingdom of Alzordia. “Vampires? Be wary of their blood magic” said Udon. "Aye mate. This will be a piece of cake” said Captain Ragnar. “I hope these blood suckers are entertaining,” said Kael.
“We'll show you the might of Alzordia and kick your ass,” said Jin. “Yeah!” exclaimed Elise and Maven. The three of them collided with each other.
Udon was unable to pierce Maven's extremely tough armour. He hit him back with a massive belly and then grabbed his waist and then dropped him on his neck by suplexing him. The ground cracked, but Maven was still unharmed.
Maven tried to grab him, but Udon rolled out the way and picked him up instead. He thereafter delivered a massive power slam, breaking the ground beneath them.
Maven got up, his armour was just scratched but not dented. “Give me a break. You may be slow but your defence is impeccable” said Udon.
“Like my defence? Maybe you'll like my offensive abilities as well” said Maven as he unsheathed the massive sword of desolation. He unleashed a strike from it that sent out a massive blast of energy, almost cutting Udon in half. Luckily for him, he dodged.
Captain Ragnar exchanged strikes with Elise. Ragnar managed to hit the back of her head but she took no damage. Instead she redirected the power of that attack and hit Ragnar with it, staggering him.
Stolen novel; please report.
She used a blood blast on him but he created a gravitational field in the area, the force was so strong that she fell to the ground and the blood blast stopped.
Ragnar thought that he had easily won, but suddenly, the roles were reversed and the gravitational field sent him to the ground, unable to move.
“Your technique is quite impressive” said Ragnar as he undid his gravitational field.
He understood that she was a bad match for him, he had to figure out how to counter her technique by gauging its weaknesses.
Jin and Kael were moving across the battlefield at extraordinary speeds. They were a great distance away from their starting positions. Their countless strikes against each other ravaged the areas they had gone past.
“I guess we got carried away, but that's what happens when you fight a vampire as talented as me,” said Jin.
“You're quite the arrogant one. You seem like you'll entertain me” replied Kael.
Jin tried to hit him with a spinning heel kick but he blocked using an energy based tail that emerged from his body. Jin used his incredible speed to charge at hit and then move to the opposite side of the energy based tail in hopes of landing a surprise attack but he got hit with a second energy based tail.
“You clearly didn't pay attention to lessons in mythology. Kitsune have nine tails. If you make me use 5 of them, I'll let you off easily this time” said Kael.
Jin didn't like his arrogant attitude, it reminded him of himself. He began using his shadow manipulation.
He teleported into Kael's shadow and pinned his shadow by stepping on it. Since his shadow was pinned, Kael couldn't move. Jin went for a clubbing blow but a magical sword appeared on its own and tried to cut him.
He dodged it, but released Kael in the process. That sword was able to levitate and move on its own! Kael also had another sword that was in his hand.
Jin began uprooting trees and hurling it at Kael. “I see that you're out of ideas” said Kael as he used his second to block the attack.
“Reflection” said Kael as the force used to throw the trees was reflected back at Jin, sending him flying back.
Jin began regenerating but he was in awe of Kael’s swords. One sword attacks on its own and the other reflects any attack. He understood that his opponent was dangerous.
Jin turned into a swarm of bats that surrounded Kael. All the bats swooped in to strike him, but he used reflection to deflect the impact, sending them away. This created an opening for Jin to land a kick on Kael, but his sword still sliced him on his own.
Jin simply decided to ignore the sword that was striking on its own and ensure its slices while fighting Kael at close quarters.
He went for a punch but Kael deflected it using his hand and used Jin's arm as a railing to go for a palm strike. Jin swivelled out the way, altering the direction of the attack and created an opening to land a strike to his ribs.
Kael blocked using his knee and extended it, sending out a kick. Jin brought both his knees together to catch his leg, and then pulled him in to deliver a headbutt.
"Now things are getting interesting,” said Kael.
Meanwhile Raylon was confronted by a warrior from Warthral. “Hey, if you're Kodon’s son then beating you will showcase the strength of Warthral and Zarthral. I'll do it on my own. My name is Ludwig” said the warrior.
Raylon accepted his challenge. Many battles were beginning now that the trials of Veridonia began. With so many talented warriors it's almost impossible to say who will win.
