Jin uprooted a tree and swung it around. It destroyed all her illusions but Megan was nowhere to be seen. She then tried to stab with a knife but he blocked the attack and kicked her away. She was able to use invisibility as well which concealed her shadow. Jin couldn't keep track of her anymore so he used his shadow as a weapon.

He turned his shadow in tendrils and began lashing out everywhere. Megan survived but she was bleeding as she was lacerated. This allowed Jin to see her. He chokeslammed her into the ground and then hit her with an elbow drop. He was going to smash her head into the ground but she turned into a tiny animal.

The illusion only distracted Jin temporarily, but it allowed her to slit his throat. She then hit him with an energy blast that sent him through the forest. If it wasn't for his incredible regeneration, he would have lost.

“I won't let my guard down again. Cheap tricks like that won't work on me again” said Jin.

“Oh my god. You totally are an animal lover. If you give up now I'll let you go out on a date with me” replied Megan.

“That's a tempting offer, but how about a bet instead. If I beat you in hand-to-hand combat, you'll go on a date with me” said Jin.

Megan rolled her eyes and accepted his offer. Jin went for a kick to her face but she swivelled out of the way and tried to kick his face. He closed the distance between them, thereby reducing the power of the kick and caught her leg. He then tripped her and put her into a choke hold. She wriggled her way out to escape and landed a knee strike to his ear.

It stunned him for a moment, allowing her to land a finger jab to his left eye. As he moved back, she began punching furiously. He avoided the punches and landed a punch to her stomach. He then focused his energy into s single point and landed a one inch punch to her chest. The impact sent her flying through the forest.

“You're a tough one. When this is over, I hope we can hang out” said Jin.

“Ugh. As if. I hate arrogant pricks like you. This totally sucks!” exclaimed Megan as Jin hit her with a close range blood blast that knocked her unconscious.

With Megan eliminated, 13 participants remained.

“Another one bites the dust” said Azazel as he noticed that Megan's energy had disappeared from the battlefield. Emiru had finally arrived in the area. She was looking for a place to rest for a moment and regroup. She decided to let her guard down for a moment, but this choice proved to be fatal. As she sat down on a tree stump, a sword was driven through her chest!

Azazel’s strategy to hide paid off. Emiru sent a dark energy blast out and that caused Azazel to remove the sword but the poison was in her system. She began rapidly firing off dark energy blasts but he knocked them all away with his sword. He then moved in with so much speed and power that the ground beneath him broke. His speed had surprised her so much that she barely managed to dodge.

He then landed a kick that broke her ribs and sent her into the ground. The impact created a crater. She tried to get up but her body was throbbing in pain from both that poison and pain. He then picked her head up and began dribbling it on the ground like it was a basketball. He then drove the sword through her chest again!

“You're part demon aren't you. You weren't born the same way people from your kingdom are born. I can sense the dark energy within you. Your demon side is going to awaken soon, as you're about to die, go eliminate some participants for me once that happens” said Azazel.

His words confused Emiru but as he said, she began to have a reawakening. She turned into a demon and the effects of the poison were nullified. She began to search for Azazel but she ended up running into Avawrath. She decided to just attack him and sent out a dark energy blast but this time it's impact was greatly increased. Avawrath tried to block by raising a pillar off the ground but the dark energy blast went through it and blasted him.

The impact sent him flying back and Emiru headbutted him, her horns penetrating his body. She then let him go and slammed his head into the ground. He sent out a blast of fire but she just walked through it and hit his face with an elbow strike. The impact broke his nose. It was so painful that he began tearing up, but he didn't give up. He created a mini volcano beneath her feet and made it erupt. The impact sent her into the sky. He used the opportunity to erect multiple volcanoes around her.

“This is called the ring of fire. It's quite a draining technique, but it looks like it will take everything I have to win this battle” said Avawrath.

“I have no idea what I'm capable of at this moment. You better hope that I don't figure out my full potential” replied Emiru.

Azazel watched on from afar. He knew that she could potentially eliminate more people for him, thereby making it easier for him to win. Even if she lost, Avawrath would be severely weakened, allowing him to easily eliminate him. Given the fact that Azazel had not even exerted himself as yet, it appears that he has a massive advantage.

Talia was protecting Narumi as she rested but Kuma had arrived at their location. Kuma’s swordsmanship transcends what is humanly possible. His sword is able to learn techniques but it is not a living thing. Some would say that it’s a reflection of Kuma's talent.

He unsheathed his sword and tried to slash Narumi. Talia sent out a blast of water in front of Narumi but Kuma slashed through the blast of water. Talia then turned the water into ice. Kuma then halted his attack and turned his attention to Talia after breaking the ice with his strength. Talia was able to change her affinity based on the environment. With them being in a nearby lake she could use water, ground and grass type attacks.

She used the water from the lake to create water bombs and sent them towards Kuma. He gracefully slashed all of the water bombs and tanked the damage to get close to her. He then tried to slash her. She changed the properties of the ground into quicksand which caused him to get stuck as he sunk into the ground. She tried to kick him but he used his sword's technique. “Group 1, Infinite slashes” said Kuma as he a series of slashes cut everything in the area.

Talia managed to get Narumi to safety but she was cut everywhere. Thankfully it wasn't too deep as she wasn't at the epicentre of the technique, but the area area was torn to shreds.

“I'd hate to find out what his other techniques are, but I guess I don't have a choice anymore,” said Talia.
