Emiru's barrier is known as the forbidden graveyard. The area becomes infested with ghosts, and all of Emiru's attacks have a one hundred percent chance of landing. She can also manifest attacks that don't exist until they hit her opponent, making it impossible to stop.
Jaiden extended his arms and swung wildly at the ghosts but they phased through his attacks and knocked him back.
Emiru then sent out a blast of dark energy at Narumi. She tried to evade it, but it was of no use. The attack immediately teleported in front of her and hit her. She fell to one knee as she was devastated by the impact of the attack.
“It's no use dodging. Whatever attacks she throws will always land. I'll take the lead, you two cover me” said Talia.
The reason that Talia performs a rain dance to use water is because her affinity changes to the affinity of the environment.
With her being surrounded in an environment full of dark magic, her affinity changed accordingly.
She sent out a blast of dark energy that caught Emiru by surprise and sent her flying back. Emiru sent out a flurry of dark slashes. They were impossible to block as the slashes didn't exist until it made contact. It sent the three of them to their knees, allowing Emiru to orchestrate an assault with her ghosts.
They surrounded Jaiden and attached themselves to him. They slowed him down to the point that he couldn't move. This allowed Emiru to blast him with dark energy. Jaiden fell to the ground. Narumi tried to protect him using coral, but the ghosts that had attached themselves to him exploded, knocking him out.
With Jaiden eliminated, 15 participants remained. He was teleported away, leaving Narumi and Talia at a massive disadvantage.
Emiru began to make use of the fact that her attacks were guaranteed to hit in her barrier. She began sending out blasts wildly, completely disregarding aim. Narumi covered herself and Talia in coral to help negate the effects but it didn't help with the pain. They managed to survive Emiru's assault, but they had no way of knowing how much more they could endure.
“We may be at a massive disadvantage, but we have to figure out how this barrier works. Once we completely understand that, we can figure out how to win” said Narumi. Talia nodded in agreement.
As Talia and Narumi needed to find a weakness in order to survive, Avawrath continued his battle against Ragnar.
“Oi, now you've bloody done it. Looks like the entire sky island is going to have to suffer because of you” said Ragnar.

Ragnar touched the ground and it created a massive gravitational field. The entire sky island began falling down!
The participants and audience were all suffering from the effects of this technique.
“I'll have to stop him if he doesn't release the technique. I'll give him 15 seconds” said Kodon.
It appeared that the sky island was on its way to crash, but Kodon entered the battlefield and walked through the gravitational field! The pressure put on him was immense, but he moved fast enough to grab Ragnar and smash his head into the ground.
“This is a warning. Next time I'll take your head off” said Kodon as he returned to the audience.
That was the first time in a while that Ragnar had felt fear. Ragnar could have eliminated most of the participants if he finished that attack. He decided to use an inversion technique instead. This altered Avawrath’s sense of direction as the directions were inverted.
Avawrath tried to punch Ragnar but he ended up punching the opposite direction. This allowed Ragnar to knee him in his ribs. Avawrath tried to attack him again, but the attack kept on ending up in the wrong direction. This allowed Ragnar to land a barrage of strikes. He then grabbed Avawrath's waist and suplexed him into the ground. He wasn't done there as he rolled through and pulled him into a lariat.
Avawrath had no choice but to attack in all directions. He sent chunks of the ground flying out in all directions. He was even blasting flames everywhere, but Ragnar created a gravitational field again that sent Avawrath into the ground.
Ragnar was about to finish him off, but Raylon landed a kick on him. Due to Raylon's immense skill, he was able to understand how to attack even though the directions in the area were inverted.
“You've gone against him. You've seen his power. Do you understand that we need to work together? You need to set up a volcano and also launch area-based attacks. I'll handle him in close combat” said Raylon.
“Fine. You better not get knocked unconscious” replied Avawrath. They now stood side by side, as they were left with no choice but to work together.
As they teamed up, the battle between Kael and Zatala intensified. Kael and Zatala were fighting in the air. Zatala sent out a blast of wind but Kael responded with an even stronger one that sent her flying back. He then kicked her even higher. He then grabbed her face and brought her down into a nearby sky island. It was a small one that was home to mostly smaller animals.
He began uprooting trees using his tails and hurled them at Zatala. It was rapid like a machine gun, constantly striking at Zatala. She was badly damaged after that flurry of rapid offence.
“You need to use your tail. We have 9 of them” said Kael. Zatala tried, but no matter how hard she tried, she could not get her tail to appear.
“I see, you can copy the form and techniques, but not the spirit or essence of the character. You'll be able to once you're stronger” said Kael.
Zatala attempted to blast him with fire, but he sent out water and it created steam after the attacks cancelled each other out. He then grabbed her face and brought her down. He slammed her face into the ground of the sky island that was hosting the Trials of Veridonia. The impact created a massive crater.
He thought that he had knocked her out, but she morphed her head into that of a Goliathus Magica.
“So you learnt the chimera technique on the brink of death. Now you can combine the abilities of multiple beasts together. Now then, let's see if you can really entertain me!” yelled Kael.
Meanwhile, two warriors from the kingdom of Zarthral were carefully analysing the battle. With so many battles going on, saying who is going to walk out as the victor is incredibly difficult.
