“It would appear that the Vampire royal family wishes us harm. Challenging my son and then attacking Saraya” said Rusalka.

“Not at all, I did not order anybody to attack Saraya. As she's arguably the strongest it would make no sense” replied Cassius.

Saraya raised her eyebrow at his response and her doubt increased as she stomped the ground, causing an earthquake.

“King Cassius is definitely a suspect, however he could be innocent. I say we leave the matter be for now. Saraya doesn't look harmed” said Raylon.

Damien wanted to attack Raylon for his comment but the vampire queen Evelina stopped him.

“Let's all have dinner together for now” said Evelina as she directed everyone to the dining room.

Raylon was going to sit next to his mother Rusalka and Saraya but princess Ravenna eagerly asked him to sit next to her.

While everyone was dining, a sinister plot was unfolding in Alzordia.

The vampires were prohibited from keeping a bank of humans to feed on, but the vampire royal family kept humans as livestock in secret. Drinking blood from humans kept them strong, a requirement for maintaining their standing in their hierarchy.

The only other person to know about this was a noble named Erik. His long white hair complimented his pale skin well, but his face was often tainted with the colour red from blood. He was known for luring females with his attractiveness and then turning them into livestock. No human was able to resist his compulsion.

“The Celestia family intrigues me, however none of that matters. I just need to prevent these livestock from escaping and running into the dining room to alert the rest” said Erik as he drank the blood from a woman to the point that she died.

“Although, now's my chance to usurp the throne. I just need everyone in this palace to disappear. Thankfully my new techniques should do the job well” said Erik.

He undid the compulsion he placed on the livestock of humans and set them free. They ran up the stairs and headed straight into the dining room!

Erik looked at the few that were too traumatised to move.

“Well, you snooze, you lose” he said as he ripped the head off one of them. The next one started shaking in fear but he showed no remorse as he ripped her throat off and drank the blood that spilled out. The rest sweated uncontrollably as they knew their time was over. In a bloodlust frenzy, he ripped off their heads.

“This is the greatest high!” he yelled as blood spilled everywhere.

Raylon was starting to get used to Ravenna. He could not deny that he found her attractive and she seemed like a kind vampire. He thought that perhaps it would not be bad to accept the engagement, but that's when the human livestock ran into the dining room.

“What is the meaning of this!” yelled Saraya as she saw the terrible condition of the humans. It only took her a few seconds to figure it out.

Before the Vampire King Cassius could explain, the lower floor of the castle exploded.

The explosion destroyed the dining room and the surrounding area. The upper wings of the castle were off balance and could collapse at any moment.

Raylon protected princess Ravenna but he did not want to look at her after finding out that they kept human livestock.

Queen Evelina, King Cassius, Saraya and Rusalka were the only ones unharmed due to how strong they were. Prince Damien and princess Isadora took the brunt of the impact, but they began healing.

"Oh, you're a tough bunch” said Erik as he stood on the upper wing. His purple eyes were easily seen as they reflected the moonlight perfectly.

“What are you doing Erik? Have you no shame, this is treason” said Queen Evelina.

“That's if you can beat me without your strongest in tow” said Erik as a prison box expanded and was going to trap everyone.

Saraya and King Cassius were too close to escape, so Saraya managed to push Raylon away, with the force of her finger.

The force sent him flying back, but he was safe.

Other than him, only his mother Rusalka managed to escape.

“That prison box has an unknown number of barriers. Who knows how long it'll take your friends to escape, I'll deal with you quickly to avoid any issues” said Erik.

He summoned a variety of bloodhounds and blood-trolls to take the battlefield.

“Raylon, I'll deal with these minions quickly. In the meantime, you fight him and figure out his abilities. Call out for me if you need help” said Rusalka.Raylon nodded in agreement.

As Rusalka began battling the other enemies, Raylon tried to kick Erik.“You're a cocky one” said Erik as he blocked and blasted him back with blood.

Meanwhile in the prison box, Saraya was rapidly punching through barriers, but a new one kept on popping up. Knowing the potential danger that could emerge with her being trapped, she began breaking through the barriers at super speed, much to the amazement of everyone else present there.

Raylon went for an uppercut against Erik but Erik sidestepped and palm striked his chest. Raylon grabbed onto his hand and delivered a devastating punch to his stomach.

He held on, and repeatedly struck his body. Erik formed a sword of blood and tried to slash Raylon.

Raylon let go and kicked him to create distance. He then sent out a blast of fire which Erik dodged.

“You're an interesting one, I think I'll play with you for a while”

said Erik as he prepared to showcase more of his techniques.
