The coral dragon's rampage threatened all participants. They knew that they all should stop fighting each other and start working together. The coral dragon sent out a blast of fire at Kael. He responded with a blast of fire of his own.
The flames cancelled each other out, but with Kael severely weakened from his flurry of battles, his reaction speed slowed down a bit. This allowed the coral dragon to send out the pillar of coral that knocked him back. The coral dragon then sent out a blast of highly concentrated water. The pressure was so great that it cut a chunk of the sky island off!
Kael had no choice but to use his tails to block. He had to use 7 tails to block that high impact attack. He went behind the coral dragon and used his strength and tails to lift it up and drop it on its back. He then began punching it furiously. The tough corals on the dragon's skin were slowly chipping away, but the dragon got up and flapped its mighty wings. This sent Kael flying back but he used the element of air to fly into the sky.
He then immersed himself in flames and charged into the weak spot that he had created on the coral dragon. It broke through the layer of coral. He then sent out his sword that attacks on its own to repeatedly slash at the opening on its own. This aggravated the coral dragon and it tried to blast him with fire. He used his second sword that had the ability to reflect attacks and reflected the impact back at the coral dragon. It combined the affinity of water and fire to create steam in order to move away from Kael momentarily.
It was about to go in for another attack, but the two warriors from Zarthral jumped in.
“We want to have some fun as well,” said Elijah. He was able to utilise sound to deliver attacks. He clapped his hands and it created a sonic boom that disoriented the coral dragon. He then placed his hand on it and made the coral dragon vibrate. The vibrations rattled the corals of the coral dragon, causing them to begin to fall off.
The coral dragon roared in anger and fought through his attack. It then spun in the air and hit him with its tail, sending him into the ground. It was going to pierce him with a pillar of coral but he rolled out of the way and sent out a high pitch sound wave that rattled the coral dragon’s eardrum. “Now would be a good time to help Atea. This dragon is no joke” said Elijah.
Atea was the other warrior representing Zarthral. She was able to move into a void. While in the void she was intangible but was also unable to interact with the world. She was able to replicate inanimate objects in the void forge though.
The narrative has been taken without permission. Report any sightings.
When she stepped out of the void she sent out multiple swords. Those were replications of Kael's sword that could attack on its own.
The swords overwhelmed the coral dragon momentarily, allowing her to throw a bomb that she had created earlier at it, creating a massive explosion that caused the coral dragon to fall. She could only use one replicated weapon or item at a time outside the void.
“That's quite impressive. My sword was quite rare and yet you were able to forge many copies of it” said Kael as he looked at Atea.
“That's an advantage of having an ability that utilises a parallel world. I haven't even fully explored the void. Who knows what else I could be capable of” replied Atea.
They then turned their attention to the coral dragon. It was back on its feet. Even though it was damaged, it had an indomitable will. It was about to go back on the offensive but it suddenly was unable to move. Jin had stitched its shadow.
That's when Ragnar placed two gravitational fields, one on top of the coral dragon and one under it. Both of the gravitational fields exerted pressure, causing it to be pulled on two sides. It was being compressed but it still tried to push through the pain.
That's when Avawrath sent out a large amount of lava on top of it. The lava began to melt the coral and severely burnt the coral dragon. That's when Raylon sent out a blast of plasma that went through the severely damaged coral dragon. He knew that he had to follow up so he ran towards it and focused his energy into his fist. He then landed a punch that smashed the coral dragon against the ground.
“That was one tough dragon,” said Raylon as he began to walk away. As he did, the coral dragon hit him with a pillar of coral at point blank range. It appeared that it had pierced him, but that was an illusion created by Megan. Emiru and Raylon took the coral dragon by surprise and both of them landed an elbow drop to its head.
Emiru then proceeded to repeatedly use dark energy blasts on it. With each hit the damage stacked, resulting in a ton of damage being dealt to the coral dragon. Raylon noticed that the dark energy blasts that she used were incredibly similar to his in demon form. With the coral dragon critically injured, it was only a matter of inflicting the finishing blow.
“You all dragged this battle on for long enough” said the final warrior from Zarthral. Her name was Tiffany. She was a beautiful elf that wore a bright red hanfu. Her elegance was unmatched. “Forest of desolation!” yelled Tiffany as she created an entire forest from scratch. The forest trapped the wounded coral dragon in it and she blasted it at point blank range, finally ending it.
Even though the threat of the coral dragon ended. Almost all of the participants were now on the battlefield. The unpredictability of this battle just increased to another level.
Meanwhile the last two competitors from Warthral made a campfire in a secluded area and were just relaxing as the chaos unfolded.
“You're the strongest participant from both Zarthral and Warthral. Why are you not more involved in the action?” asked Kuma.
“Even though I'm strong, I'm not going to showcase my techniques so early like a fool. I'll wait until the very end and beat the last remaining participant while they're injured” said Azazel.
With all the remaining participants coming into the light, the trials of Veridonia enter its next phase. The ultimate battle continues to get even crazier!
