As celebration for me getting a new phone (I place mobile communications above all else) before the start of my school term (I'm a college student), I give you guys a long chapter (equivalent length to three normal chapters) that I wrote in one go out of frustration (I needed an outlet).

As though throwing inconspicuity out the window, a large three tier 30-meter diameter magical array spread out above Cavaron. Each tier had the colors of red, blue, and green respectively, and let out sparks of ethereal bolts that connected each tier to the other. A huge amount of Cavaron's mana, if one had Mana Sight, flowed into the array like being sucked by a black hole near instantaneously. After three seconds, the three tiers became one, and transformed into a smaller 15-meter magic circle that passed down through Cavaron. Upon reaching the base, three more magic circles appeared on the edges of the 15-meter circle and were arranged like the three points of an equilateral triangle. The three new magic circles were also red, blue, and green respectively, and they all shined brilliantly. Soon, a loud sound similar to the striking of a gong was heard, and three humanoids rose from the three magic circles.
From the red magic circle, a red cloaked woman with a red crystalline cuirass rose up. Her body was surrounded by floating shards of red crystalline objects, two on either side floating near her shoulders. Her face was hidden from view because of her hood, even the lower half of her face was concealed by a cloth mask. From the green magic circle, a woman wearing a leather vest with a metallic chestplate appeared. Like the red woman, she wore a hood, but didn't wear a mask revealing a bewitching smile as green flames enveloped her body. On her waist hanged a quiver, and on her back was a flaming green great bow. At the same time as with the red and green magic circles, from the blue magic circle came an armored blue knight. Despite the individual's imposing aura, it had a feminine figure and the helmet revealed beautiful sapphire like eyes. Her blue armor was rugged and earthly, similar to rugged terrain, heavily contrasting to Cavaron's own armor. She didn't appear to have a weapon, but looking at her gauntlets said otherwise. Her gauntlets were weapons on their own similar to having the earth strapped to one's own fists.
"""The poison of the earth adheres to the contract ages past.""" said the three women simultaneously as they turned their heads towards Cavaron. Cavaron himself still sat on the dragon's back and his face was a bit pale. "Crap, wrong estimate." muttered Cavaron as he looked at the three women around him, "Hey, ladies." If one were to observe the three women, one would find something strange: the three women were translucent. "Cavaron..." the red woman spoke, "Judging from what you've expended, we only have 300 seconds, well... 280 at the moment." The green woman placed her cheek on her palm, "I'm feeling lazy, too. There wasn't enough." A dry laugh left Cavaron's mouth, then an annoyed face. Suddenly, the blue woman knelt behind him and brought her arms around him as she hugged him and caressed his face, "Hey, do you still remember?" asked the blue woman. Cavaron sighed, "Fine, fine! When this is over, and when I visit your world, I'll go on a date with all of you. Happy?" The green and red women also wrapped their arms around him, while Cavaron was getting even more impatient, "Ladies, 200 seconds left. Please just do what I called you for. Just look down and you'll understand." Cavaron groaned as she tried to push them away, "I will keep my promise, so please get rid of those bugs down below." With three kisses, the three women leapt off the dragon's back to unleash pandemonium. Cavaron just sighed as he let his body collapse on the dragon's own back. "Shamira! Help!" Shamira heard his call, carried him off, and brought him back to the compartment below the dragon with the others. Without another word, he called for Bronte with the Converters to replenish his mana.
While Cavaron was in the middle of summoning the Three Gems, a large cloud rose from the wasteland. It was a massive flock of flying Azuals, and they were headed towards the magic array. The flock of Azuals nearly spanned half the horizon as it blocked the sight of anything above and below it. Out of the 152 million supposed entities, from its size, one could estimate around 25 to 30 million Azuals currently flying towards Cavaron. At the same time, the War Spirits with the two other armies, Gunther and Bellatrix, sensed the massive fluctuation of mana from a distance, looked towards the general direction, and had both Gulfried and Esserot double time the march saying, "Something happened, hurry!" and "The Three Gems 'ave been summoned, plans 'ave changed!" respectively.
While the human army and the demon army ran through the wasteland, the Three Gems unleashed their respective attacks. First up was the red woman, Ruby. Ruby conjured a large amount of red spears of ice. So many that it blocked the sky in a few seconds, "Bloody Rain of Torment!" Without uttering a long chant, the spears of ice fell and skewered everything in their path with one spear piercing through two to five Azuals in one fell swoop. Whatever else that remained was left to the green woman, Emerald. Emerald unsheathed her great bow, and drew from her quiver a flaming green arrow. Just as she notched the arrow, several more flaming green arrows appeared around her, aimed at wherever she was aiming at, and numbered too many to count. "Storm of Poisoned Flames!" Like Ruby, Emerald unleashed flaming green fury towards the remaining Azuals in the sky. The flaming green arrows, as each struck an enemy, exploded and affected everything else nearby. Just as two explosions happened near each other, a third explosion appeared in between the two, creating a cloud of green smoke. The green smoke, as it was inhaled by the remaining Azuals, acted like poison, and those who breathed it fell from the skies never to move again. Finally, with nearly all of the flying Azuals cleared from the sky, the blue woman, Sapphire, crashed like a meteor onto the ground creating a massive crater that blasted many Azuals on the ground away.
Sapphire's force of impact already destroyed a substantial amount of Azuals. When the dust settled, the reason for such power was revealed. Her gauntlets became meteors themselves as both became one massive piece of blue rock. "Wrath of the Dead Earth!" Suddenly, the large rock glowed brightly before exploding into many pieces like a massive fragmentation grenade scattering and impaling the surrounding Azuals before they could even react. The shrapnel of rocks became bombs themselves as each piece detonated like a chain of cluster bombs over a wide area delivering massive casualties. Just as the ground shook from the explosions, a rain of red ice and green flames fell from the skies like the tears of a mad god. A few more seconds passed before there was a pause in the attacks happened, "THIRTY SECONDS LEFT!" shouted Ruby as she landed next to Sapphire, followed by Emerald, "Let's go out with a bang!"
Ruby raised her hands, Emerald leapt high to the air, and Sapphire crouched down to the ground. Respectively, the three solemnly uttered their chants, "Ice Queen of Ruby Blood.", " Eagle of Emerald Flames.", and "Revenant of Sapphire Earth." and three imposing figures appeared behind them. Behind Ruby was a red frozen regal woman that stared down at everything. Green flames formed behind Emerald and resembled a bird of prey. From the earth behind Sapphire, a revenant wearing imposing armor emerged. From the red queen, a shrill scream erupted, the ice shattered, and the queen stretched her arms grabbing a large amount of Azuals that had their blood come through every single orifice of their bodies becoming ice that froze all to death. The flaming bird cried and dived down, everything it passed through turned to ash, and those it passed over became poisoned to death. The blue revenant roared and slammed its bony fists onto the earth, and the earth opened up to reveal the deep abyss that swallowed all that were unlucky to be on it. All of these happened in the remaining thirty seconds, and after it finished, the three looked towards the sky and bid their farewell as they disappeared.
Back in the dragon's compartment, the others watched the hell that unfolded with chills running down the spines of Culverin, Glacia, and Avani. "I still can't get used to those three." said Glacia, "If we are aligned with order, those three are aligned with chaos." Behind them lay Cavaron with Bronte sitting next to him. Tirta sat beside Cavaron, "Did you really promise those three?" and asked. Cavaron opened his eyes, "You know how those three act. If I didn't, we would have bigger problems, and I'd have wasted my mana." and answered. After the Three Gems left, Cavaron no longer felt their presence, and ordered Capacitor, "Capacitor, scan the ground." The Machine Spirit whirred into action, "SCANNING... SCANNING... SCANNING COMPLETE. APPROXIMATELY NINETY EIGHT MILLION ENTITIES DETE– PLEASE HOLD." Capacitor suddenly paused in the middle of the report before finishing, and whirred into scanning the ground again, "RESCANNING AREA... SCANNING... SCANNING... SCANNING COMPLETE. REVISING REPORT TO APPROXIMATELY NINETY NINE MILLION ENTITIES DETECTED AND ARE INCREASING AT AN ALARMING RATE." Cavaron's eyes were now completely open, and focused mana to shoot out in two opposite directions. The mana that were shot out landed on the two War Spirits that were marching with both the human and demon armies with a message, "Expect a lot of casualties."

Flashback
"Greetings, Lady Aisha. We are here to meet Mother." One of the two angels outside said. It was a male angel, and he wore armor similar to the Sky Knights I had fought against before, only, his armor had more designs on them. Behind him was a younger angel, and was a female. She stood at attention behind the male angel, and tension could be seen from her eyes. Suddenly, our eyes met, and she just stared at me. The male angel eventually noticed me, and smiled and nodded at me. I doubt that I knew him, but it felt like he knew me, and the way the female angel stared at me... It wasn't alarm nor fear... It was akin to worry or pity. My gut feeling was probably right, these two angels knew me, but how they know me is a question I don't know the answer to.
"How much longer before the promise?" Aisha suddenly said to the male angel. The male angel turned his gaze away from me and returned his attention on Aisha, "Lady Aisha, I cannot say for certain, but according to the Byblos, Pyo'ah will arrive soon. Aisha's grip on the doorknob tightened at his words, I could faintly hear the creaking of the door from the force of her grip. I already had known that she was strong, but never to this extent. I feel that I must ask why she was acting like so, yet something is stopping me from doing so, and can only let them continue their conversation in silence. I few seconds of silence passed before Aisha turned towards me, her sad face replaced with a smile, "Cavaron, I will just attend to these guests outside. These people were my mother's friends, and so they also became my friends." Even though she told me so, there was something wrong with her smile.
It was a fake smile, vastly different from what she showed before. Hard and forced compared to the innocent and soft smile before.
Aisha turned away, and led the two angels outside. I reacted by leaving my seat and proceeding towards the door. However, before I could even touch the doorknob, I felt a sudden blast of dizziness and blacked out.

Outside.
Aisha had led her two guests to the middle of the meadow. As the three of them walked, a flash of light appeared over the eastern horizon, and repeated over the surroundings until it encircled them. "Damn! He's here!" the male angel cried, it was the Sky King Palu'Angit, "Ethra! Stay behind me." The female angel, Ethra, followed his words. "Lady Aisha, forgive this servant for being late." Aisha, in turn, just smiled, and continued towards the middle of the meadow with a change in her atmosphere. Elemental essences began to swirl behind her as she walked. The essences had five colors: red, blue, green, white, and black, and these essences grew in number up until she arrived at her supposed destination.
Palu'Angit and Ethra quietly followed after Aisha while keeping their guard in the event Pyo'ah arrives in the area. Aisha then began to dance, and elemental essences followed the flow of her body. With each wave of her hand, the elemental essences danced with her. Palu'Angit watched without sound, but Ethra had her eyes become wide in awe of the beautiful sight. Aisha and the elemental essences continued to dance without interruption despite the bright lights appearing over the horizon, signs of battle. Anxiety crept onto the face of Palu'Angit as he impatiently watched the flashing lights creep nearer to their location. The elemental essences became denser and denser until Aisha disappeared from their sight. They revolved around in the places where she danced. Faster and faster until each light fused and became one shell of light.
The shell of light shone brilliantly blinding the two angels that were watching before a crack appeared. The shell of light parted like a pair of wings that revealed the person... or persons within. Aisha reappeared with another woman that embraced her from behind. This woman had hair similar to Aisha's, silver in color, but her eyes were different as the pair was crimson red in color. Aisha's own hands held the arms of the woman embracing her, but her eyes were shut, and her body was limp. The woman, herself, caressed Aisha like a mother to a child and with a kiss to Aisha's cheek, the woman laid Aisha to the ground. One might presume that Aisha sacrificed her life, but it wasn't so as her chest rose and fell as she breathed lying down with her back to the ground.
The woman smiled as she looked at Aisha, then turned her gaze towards Palu'Angit and Ethra, her body glowing with divine light, "Greetings, my children." Palu'Angit immediately knelt before the woman and said, "Mother, many pardons for this child of yours, but as the keepers, we must see the prophecy come to fruition." Just as he finished speaking, the earth violently shook as the skies cracked and shattered revealing a crimson sky.
"Ah, Demetria, we meet again at last." A powerful voice came from the east, and a giant black demon appeared. "Pyo'ah!" cried Palu'Angit. Ethra stared at the giant demon, and hurriedly summoned her spear. "Ah, Palu'Angit, how is your father? Oh, wait... He's dead, I forgot." Pyo'ah taunted Palu'Angit, and Palu'Angit gritted his teeth in anger but did not attack back, "Who's that small child behind you? Your daughter, is it? That's cute." An smile appeared on Pyo'ah's face. Palu'Angit reacted by pulling Ethra close to him, "I am starting to regret have brought you her, my child." whispered Palu'Angit to Ethra. Ethra merely gripped the hem of her father's clothes beneath his armor, and replied, "My decision still stands, father."
The woman named Demetria looked at the towering demon closing the distance between them. The former shell of light that now became her wings flapped and launched her high to Pyo'ah's eye level. "Hello, Brother. It has been a millennium since we last spoke." said Demetria, "It seems that many of our children lost their way over a thousand years of our absence." Pyo'ah stopped just a few meters from the edge of the meadow within the forest that surrounded it, and spoke, "Maybe so, but our battle will end everything. A thousand years ago, our powers were drained, and we both fell to a deep slumber. Just as the promise before, we are to fight and claim our own rights to this world." Demetria looked back to the sleeping Aisha, and Pyo'ah followed her gaze. "That child... Why does she resemble you?" he asked, "Don't tell me you never slept, and merely lived as a mortal?" Demetria returned her gaze towards Pyo'ah, "That child will become my legacy after this, whether I live or die." and replied, "She came from me, and became separate from me yet connected. She is my child." A soft smile formed on Demetria's lips.
Pyo'ah frowned when he heard her answer, "It doesn't matter, only one will leave alive after this." Demetria became solemn momentarily, then her face suddenly became fierce. "My children, protect your sister and her loved one!" commanded Demetria, "Come, Pyo'ah, let us settle the past!" Demetria turned into light and shot like lightning towards Pyo'ah, pushing him back over fifty meters, and carving the earth from the force of her push.
Pyo'ah recollected himself, and raised an arm. From beneath him, the earth tore open, and hundreds of demons spilled forth, "Kill them all!!" shouted Pyo'ah. Demons flooded the forest, almost spilling into the meadow. In return, Palu'Angit erected a thorny barrier of light that pierced many demons, and halted their advance. "Ethra! Release the signal!" Ethra nodded at her father's command, and shot a massive ball of light towards the sky. The ball of light exploded and dispersed, and over the northern horizon, a legion of Sky Knights appeared coming in full force. "Brothers! The war to end it all has begun! Support our mother with her endeavor!" cried Palu'Angit, and the legion of Sky Knights flew faster with their magic ready to launch.
A rain of fire fell, and a storm of flames erupted immediately killing many angels and demons that got hit by their respective attacks. However, even with the number of spells going astray, none landed on the small house, and none arrived where the sleeping Aisha laid. Soon, the valley became filled with both angels and demons that fought each other while Demetria and Pyo'ah dueled against each other to the death.

Demetria summoned elemental giants that aided her in getting rid of the demons aiding Pyo'ah. She even unleashed a torrent of fire and ice, along with spears of lightning and blades of wind. Pyo'ah countered Demetria's attacks with shards of earth and a wave of filthy water that came smashing down. From time to time, Demetria evoked a spear of light, and engaged Pyo'ah in close quarter combat, and hit-and-run attacks. With her size and speed, she was akin to a mosquito swiftly attacking Pyo'ah. Enraged, Pyo'ah released a roar that momentarily knocked Demetria away. After the roar, his body became earth like with glowing red cracks similar to Aisha's Magma Golems, and produced a large flaming maul that he used to smash the ground below causing massive casualties from the angels and demons on the ground.
Pyo'ah transformed into a magma titan making Demetria's close quarter attacks nearly ineffective. Yet, even with his transformation, Demetria changed her attacks and summoned a large amount of blue elemental essences that became a large gathering of water drops. The water drops reformed becoming long and sharp. Despite the water's consistency, it effectively pierced the demons with her attack, and extinguished many of Pyo'ah's flames but not enough to fully put them out as Pyo'ah strengthened the flames that the water evaporated.
"AHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! SO MUCH DEATH IN ONE PLACE!!!" While the two were fighting, manic laughter came from the west, "DIE, DIE, DIE!!! FEED ME MORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Distracted, Demetria and Pyo'ah looked towards the source, and found a human male with white hair cutting down angels and demons alike left and right with a scythe. "What is a human doing here!?" cried Pyo'ah out of shock. Immediately after that, "The Sun has arrived... but that human..." muttered Demetria as she saw the human armies over the horizon slowly carving their path, but was bewildered at the sight of the white haired man. "CAVARON!!! WHERE ARE YOU!!!???" the white haired man yelled. It was Azrael, the champion that the humans summoned to aid them.
Pyo'ah became enraged even further at the sight of Azrael, "None will disrupt my plans for this world!" and launched a large twenty-meter fireball towards Azrael. Azrael noticed something, and looked towards the massive fireball coming for him. "Bullshit!!" shouted Azrael as he lifted his scythe and swung it down, unleashing a blade of force that dispersed the fireball to nothing. "Canceled!?" Pyo'ah was shocked, "Who is this human!?" Azrael then found both Demetria and Pyo'ah on the other side of the battlefield, and a large grin appeared on his face. "Found some people worth playing with~" Azrael dashed towards the two, carving a path for the human armies, and leaving a trail of corpses in his wake. With each kill, his movements became faster until he became a blur to the untrained eye. A white blur of death ran across the battlefield alarming both Demetria and Pyo'ah.
Just fifty meters from reaching Demetria and Pyo'ah, Azrael spotted an open meadow where Palu'Angit and Ethra were repelling hordes of demons from entering. He also found Aisha sleeping in the middle, and found a house a few ways off. However, once his eyes laid on the house, he slowed to a stop, and his jaws dropped. This action confused Demetria and Pyo'ah, and followed Azrael's gaze. "I found you... I! FOUND! YOU! AHAHAHAHAH!!!" yelled Azrael in excitement, "I FOUND YOU!!! CAVARON!!! THIS SOUL IS NOT A MISTAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!" and immediately charged towards the house. Hearing what Azrael said, Demetria became alarmed, and became a bolt of lightning that shot towards where Azrael was headed. "YOU SHALL NOT PASS!!!"
Demetria collided with Azrael creating a loud explosion of energy and knocked Azrael far away. Azrael was too engrossed with arriving at Cavaron's location that he didn't notice Demetria rushing towards him resulting in him being temporarily dazed. "Oh... Bad mistake... Bad mistake..." said Azrael as he got up, "What is it, wench?" Azrael leered at Demetria, and Demetria stared down Azrael. "HAHAHAHAHA!!" A loud laugh came from behind Demetria, "This human is interesting. Calling you, Demetria, a mere wench!? HAHAHAHAHA!!" Pyo'ah, despite his appearance, held his abdomen as he laughed. "Haha... Ah, but still... To survive getting hit by Demetria means that you are not an ordinary human. Who are you?" Azrael looked up at the giant Pyo'ah, and revealed a smirk, "Heh, big man, small balls. Are ya gonna fight me?" Pyo'ah was taken aback from Azrael's provocation, but smiled afterwards, "Interesting! You are an interesting human! Sadly, you have to die so I could kill Demetria after." Pyo'ah pointed a finger at Azrael, and a black orb formed. "Have fun somewhere else." Pyo'ah fired the black orb towards Azrael, and the orb flew like a bullet to its target.
However, instead of evading or blocking, Azrael raised his scythe and brought it down. When his scythe came in contact with the orb, the black orb dissipated, similar to what happened to the fireball earlier. "Fuck off, you piece of shit!" Pyo'ah was undaunted, and immediately fired one black orb after another with all of his fingers, excluding his thumbs. A rain of black orbs descended, and those that unfortunately got hit, disappeared like they were never there. Azrael raised a brow upon seeing the result, 'Spatial Destruction?' he thought, 'Gods, huh?' Pyo'ah kept firing a volley of orbs without care to his own demons, "Let's see if you survive this many, human!" Pyo'ah's power seemed limitless as he sustained the attacks for a long time. The battlefield changed and it became full of craters. The other angels and demons eventually broke away from the killzone, and left a barren land open. Demetria, however, was busy protecting Palu'Angit, Ethra, Aisha, and Cavaron from Pyo'ah's assault.
Eventually, Pyo'ah halted his attacks, "Are you dead yet, human?" and watched intently as the last of the black orbs fell. "What the– How!?" cried Pyo'ah. Within the area bombarded by his attacks Azrael stood in one piece, however, something was different. Azrael had ethereal skeletal wings on his back, and his scythe became ethereal as well and glowed an eerie green light. "What? Is that all?" A ghastly, inhuman voice left his lips. Surrounded by the Scythe's green light, he appeared like a true angel of death. Azrael fully opened his skeletal wings, and the green light spread everywhere. When the green light hit the surrounding angels and demons, their souls tore away from their bodies without a sound, and flew towards Azrael's scythe. "The harbinger of death greets thee." Azrael then shot towards Pyo'ah, "My turn."
Ethereal wings spread wide, augmented by the souls of the living, Azrael tore past the battlefield, and readied his scythe to attack Pyo'ah. Pyo'ah reacted by raising an arm, and the earth shot up to create a massive wall of stone. Azrael still charged forward, and swung his scythe. As he swung the scythe, a projection of a massive green blade appeared, and passed through the stone wall but the wall was intact. The projection itself still continued forward past the wall, and Pyo'ah became evidently alarmed as he raised his magma-like hammer in hopes of blocking the attack. However, just like what happened with the stone wall, the blade passed through the hammer. Pyo'ah tried to dodge, but it was too late. The blade tore through his left arm, and his arm became limp as though he lost all senses. His skin, that was magma-like, turned back to his originally black skin. Pyo'ah didn't cry in pain, on the contrary, he stared at his limp left arm, and cried in disbelief instead, "What did you do to my arm!?!??!" Azrael didn't answer, and unleashed another attack, but this time, the projected blade was smaller and was many. Azrael spun around like a tornado, and each swing released a smaller blade that flew like a torrent of death towards Pyo'ah.
Pyo'ah desperately tried to dodge, but it was futile. The blades flew faster than Pyo'ah and hit their marks. Fortunately, Pyo'ah didn't get his torso or head hit by the blades, and unfortunately, his limbs became just like his left arm. "How!? How!!?? HOW!!!???" cried Pyo'ah, "HOW CAN SOMEONE LIKE YOU HAVE THIS POWER!?!?!?" Suddenly, the attacks stopped, and Azrael came in front of Pyo'ah's gigantic face as Pyo'ah struggled to get up. With a manic grin, he said, "Nothing is impossible when I have a god-level artifact." Azrael unleashed a final swing towards Pyo'ah without another word. 'Che, just a demigod. Not even worth my time, now then. Back to Cavaron.' A final thought, and Pyo'ah perished with his body intact, but his soul destroyed. Everyone else around them was stunned, even Demetria stayed in place as she watched Pyo'ah fall to Azrael. The demons stared dumbstruck at the death of Pyo'ah, they stood in their place without heed to the humans and angels surrounding them, yet even the angels, and the humans that had recently arrived in the area stared at the ghostly being floating towards Demetria.
Finally, Demetria snapped out of her stupor, and prepared to fight. "You, who are you? An unknown element suddenly going against our world." asked Demetria. Azrael paused in midair as though he was thinking of an answer. "An otherworlder, I suppose." replied Azrael, "I'm guessing you should know seeing how much you are trying to protect Cavaron." Demetria glanced back at the house behind her, and forward to Azrael who suddenly appeared before her face. Surprised, she immediately bolted back, and attacked with an ice shard. Azrael swung his scythe, and parried the ice shard away. "Just a mere demigod, what do you expect from fighting me when I just killed someone like you?" asked Azrael with an annoyed face, "Hey, this is boring. Go and wake Cavaron up, will you? Or, do I have to wake him up myself?"
Demetria's brows creased, "Demigod? You sound as though you know what I am." and said, "And what is with that scythe of yours? The way it leaves material entities intact..." Azrael looked at the scythe he held, "This? Just a toy I received from killing a Slayer." and replied, "Oh, wait. Slayers don't exist in this world... No matter. Just give me Cavaron... Hey, why isn't he bothered by the noise here? The amount of screaming and sounds of battle could heard from a mile away, and that woman over there who looks like you... Answer me, and I'll leave you alone." Azrael declared as such from noticing the irregularities in the immediate area. "I must ask, though, how do you know about the person inside?" asked Demetria, "And how did you identify him amongst all the others?" Azrael closed his eyes, as though he was in thought, contrary to his usual demeanor.
"I suppose there's no harm in telling you. I am a reaper... or WAS a reaper. I see and recognize each and every soul of any living being, and this scythe brings the level up a notch as to what I can reap. As for Cavaron... A soul that has gone way over 500 years is just too delicious to miss out on. Although, each encounter I've had with him always ends in a draw, or some asshat summons him into another world." Azrael looked over the battlefield, and paused his gaze at the human army. "And, as usual, humans are the first to always initiate a summon. Their weakness and greed gave this opportunity to be summoned into the same world as Cavaron. I won't let this chance slip by... Now that I can see closer, what is that black thing inside Cavaron? I noticed the same thing inside some other demons, but not to his degree of being wrapped around his soul."
Demetria raised a brow, "You can see the Dark Fate flame? And what do you mean by 'wrapped around'?" Azrael drew in closer upon hearing what she said, "Oh? You know what that is? Pray tell, what is it?" Demetria hesitated for a while, but Azrael suddenly brought his ethereal scythe by her neck, "Answer. A demigod like you is powerless before me. Tell me what I want to know." As the scythe drew closer to Demetria's neck, her face became pale, 'What is this scythe? I can feel my essence screaming at me to run away.' Suddenly, Azrael withdrew his scythe, "Well?" Demetria held her neck, and looked at Azrael before speaking, "The Dark Fate flame, it is an evil draconic flame known to erase everything it touches. Yet, there have been occurances where those who got hit live, but become unable to manipulate magic or mana, and slowly eat the infected's life. In the case of Cavaron, he is of the latter, and is unable to use his mana nor feel mana but..." A smile surfaced on Azrael's face "Ah, a chance has finally come. Anyway, next one, why is he not moving nor reacting?" and asked another question. "I put him, and my child to sleep." replied Demetria.
"A demigod playing house? Interesting hobby you got there. Ah, well. Thank you for answering my questions, now go away while I consume Cavaron's soul." Satisfied, Azrael calmly walked towards the house, but Demetria barred his way. "Hm? Okay, then. You shall be my food as well." In silence, Demetria summoned a large number of elemental essences, and wrapped herself around it. The green essences wrapped her body like some sort of armor, the red essences collected in her right hand and became a halberd, the blue essences gathered over her left arm and expanded into a shield, the white and black essences became a thin shell that surrounded her body. Her transformation happened in just an eye blink, and Azrael just whistled as he saw it. Without a word, Demetria charged forward, and the elemental essences roared in the wind.
Azrael didn't move from his place, and just awaited Demetria's attack. The red halberd in her hand swung down, and a trail of fire and lightning followed. Azrael lifts his scythe slightly to block, and the two weapons violently collided. Red fire and lightning exploded from Demetria's halberd, surprising Azrael and making his calm face drop. Next, Demetria shoved her shield forward, and Azrael tried to kick it away. Upon collision, water poured out of the shield, drenching Azrael's leg, and ice followed after causing the water to freeze immediately. "If you had this power..." said Azrael as he slashed through his own leg, breaking the ice but his leg still intact, "... Why didn't you use it earlier?" Azrael observed Demetria for a while before making his move.
Demetria didn't answer back, and just continued attacking. This time, the black essences that made up the shell that surrounded her body began to move towards her halberd. Her halberd gained streaks of black, and gave off a domineering glow. Thrusting the halberd forward to attack, the red and black essences swirled, and produced an explosion of purple flames and lightning. Azrael narrowed his eyes, "Melded magic. Interesting." and swung his scythe to cancel Demetria's attack. Instead, the purple flames and lightning split away from each other and curved towards Azrael's back. "Woops, nice move, though. Anything else?" commented Azrael as he narrowly evaded the attack, and the flames and lightning intersected to produce an explosion of red essence.
Azrael rushed in closer, "Now, that is an annoying ability." and commented while avoiding a chain of exploding red essences, "Hey, why aren't you making a sound?" Azrael stared at the silent Demetria. The shield on Demetria's left and the halberd on her right reformed into a hammer and an ax respectively. Maintaining her silence, she charged forward to meet with Azrael with a whirlwind of red and blue essences. The black essences mixed with the whirlwind giving it a deep purplish color. Azrael placed his scythe forward to meet the whirlwind, and his ethereal wings beat hard and fast, increasing his speed. In just an eye blink, Azrael and the whirlwind collided. The whirlwind exploded, and all of the essences on Demetria separated themselves from her and surrounded Azrael.
"Woah!?" cried Azrael as he was enclosed by the essences that violently caged him with fire, lightning, ice, water, earth, wind, light, and dark magic. Explosions and bright lights were produced that shook the skies and the earth. Demetria stood a few meters away, panting for breath, as she watched the essences make short work of Azrael. However, just as one would think that Azrael was finished, the essences exploded and dissipated, revealing a person wearing black bone armor. The person's eyes and body were cloaked by blue flames. "That was very interesting. You forced my Revenant out." It was still Azrael, and his scythe also changed. His scythe became black like his armor, and he lost his ethereal wings. Azrael lightly waved his scythe, eerie screams and cries of tormented souls were produced, and sent chills down the spines of those who heard it. Demetria stared in disbelief as Azrael quietly approached her. "I'm guessing that was your trump card, seeing how you are so out of breath." Azrael brought the edge of his scythe towards Demetria's neck, "Bye bye."
Just as he was about to bring Demetria's end, space distorted, and Demetria disappeared from sight. "What!? Space magic!?" Azrael agitated looked for Demetria. The others looked for her as well, and was found by Ethra who cried, "Lady Aisha!" Demetria reappeared next to a now standing Aisha but, something was different. Her left eye, from amethyst in color, became gold. Azrael, when he saw her golden eye, "Heh... Haha... Hahaha... A Cipher... Another Cipher..." let out a dry laugh in disbelief. Aisha calmly looked at Azrael, then to Demetria, "Mother, I will take care of him. Go rest for a while."
