Edeortha.
A world home to three distinct races: the Sky Kildera, a race of winged people who believed that they themselves are the gods of the world; the Earth Kildera, a race of beasts who roam the shadows and underground caverns of Edeortha; and the Sun Kildera, the most populous and most adaptable inhabitants of Edeortha. Their names as Kildera have been long forgotten in favor of simpler terms: angels, demons, and humans.
The theories and beliefs of Edeortha's creation is split amongst the three races but they do have one thing in common: the belief that all three are enemies and must wipe out the others.
Thus, their millenium long war began. The angels follow their doctrine that they are the true masters of Edeortha due to their ability to roam freely in the skies. They who control the skies, control the battlefield. The same goes for the demons and humans. The demons believe that the fact they live within the earth of Edeortha means that they themselves have the absolute authority to reign supreme, with all its riches and minerals that can only be found deep within.
As for the humans, their sheer number and adaptability to nearly any kind of environment, be it the waters, the plains, the forests, or the mountains, give them enough reason to vie for power. The fact that they are everywhere is a reason for them to be the masters of Edeortha.
The Sky, the Earth, and the Sun. A three-way thousand-year war that left many places in ruin. However, its end was worse. Its conclusion gave way to an Armageddon named The Wrath of Gods. A storm of elements erupted and wiped out a third of the Edeortha's population in a single night, and left a massive scar on the face of the world.
Edeortha has four continents. To be precise, three ground continents, and a floating continent above the central continent. The four continents were one massive continent, but after the Wrath of Gods, Edeortha shook and broke apart. The floating continent is made of the destroyed earth, and was built upon the knowledge of the ancient Sky Kildera. The geound continents were split by the central, barren continent that became the stage of the Wrath of Gods. With poison marshes, dead rivers, and bottomless ravines, it separated the central continent from the Eastern and Western continents. If the floating continent became the new home of the angels, the Western continent became the home of the humans, and the Eastern continent was left to the demons.
The floating continent is now called Palu'Angit, named after the final Sky King. The Western continent is now called Yanbaka, named after the first human emperor. The Eastern continent is now called Pyo'ah, named after the their god. Finally, the central continent had many names: Rascefil for the humans, Xiatric for the angels, and Furkiz for the demons. Yet, despite the three names for the central continent, they all had one meaning: Edeortha's Scar. A grim reminder of the Wrath of Gods.
A hundred years after the disaster, the three races have begun to live in peace. During that century, good relationships bloomed amongst them, and they began trading. Many of the three races' people learned from the errors of their past, and wanted to live anew. Thus, the three races have begun dispatching diplomatic envoys to one another, and paved the way to fruitful interactions that they have never achieved in the millenia they had been at war.
However, even in times of peace, evil and the threat of another war linger. And so, it happened once more for the same reason: supremacy. Splinter groups from the current governments of the three races rose up to spread their ideologies of a master race, that the current state of affairs is akin to spitting on the faces of their ancestors. Naturally, the current leaders of the three races began to subdue the splinter groups. However, even with the efforts of the three races combined they were unable to defeat them because of one reason: the splinter groups are a race of their own. A mix of humans, angels, and demons that were exiled not for their impurity, but for their radical ideals. A new demi-race that believe that the people of their kind are the new masters of Edeortha. As it would seem, a hundred years of peace is enough for the younger generation to forget the horrors of the past only because they have not experienced it.
The new demi-race now call themselves as the Azual, and made Edeortha's scar their new home.
After a nearly a year of fruitless efforts, the leaders of the three races ordered their greatest scholars to delve into the past to search for ancient magic that may help. After montha of research, the human scholars found an arcane ritual of summoning a champion from another world to aid them in their efforts. The oldest of the angels and demons were then reminded of the events that happened a century ago because of the human emperor who also called for a champion. These people still remember who that champion was and were frantic about avoiding the ritual for some reason. However, the situation with the Azual grows ever more dire and pushed the ritual forward despite the elders' warnings.
A week of preparations after, within the mana-well of Yanbaka, a summoning ritual took place, and a hero was summoned... two heroes.

The mana-well of Yanbaka.
The mana-well is found within the lush Kalbata Forest. Thanks to the mana-well, the Kalbata Forest is filled with flora and fauna, and never seems to run out. However, like places with rich concentrations of mana, monsters also dwell within. Ordinary flora and fauna that are subjected to heavy concentrations of mana every day of their lives change into monsters.
Around the mana-well, regiments of soldiers surround the area protecting the central point where a large group of magi are currently initiating a ritual. A summoning ritual that needed a large amount of mana to summon a powerful champion from another world. In between the magi and the soldiers, a group of influential-looking people are watching the events unfold. They were the leaders of the three races. The human emperor, Gulfried Asonar; the angel queen, Ethra Devai; and the demon king, Esserot Tassern.
The story has been illicitly taken; should you find it on Amazon, report the infringement.
Gulfried looks like a typical human if you ignore his huge build that makes him tower over his own soldiers while wearing the thick, powerful looking armor he is currently wearing. His armor is black with golden designs, with an emblem of a knight riding a dragon emblazoned on his back and his shield. He also seems to have a longsword hanging off his waist. He appears to be between 30 and 40 years of age, quite young to be an emperor due to his face, but rather unbelievable due to his height of 224 centimeters. He has short white hair and a pair of blue eyes that radiate seriousness and authority, as what one may expect from an emperor, and has lightly tanned skin.
The angel queen, Ethra, has two pure white feathery wings on her back. She is also wearing some sort of armor that looks to be a golden set of: a winged helmet, a cuirass, faulds, a pair of arm guards, and a pair of greaves. She appears lesser armored than Gulfried. Her armor aside, she has a round shield and a lance, similar to Shamira's but not of the same material. Ethra has shoulder length auburn hair that curls at the end, has a pair of green eyes, and a voluminous bust that her cuirass had to follow its shape. As an angel, she appears younger than the other two races and appears to be within 20 years of age but, her true age is unknown since they live a bit longer than humans. Despite being a figure of authority, her face and aura reminds one of a mother taking care of their young. Her skin was pale unlike someone who has been exposed to the sun all throughout their lives.
The demon king, Esserot is practically unarmored but only because his pitch black skin is made from ultra-thick dermis shaped like scales that are comparable to the toughest steel. Because of his natural armor, he earned the nickname Steelskin for his powerful defense. Aside from his natural armor, he looks like a cross between a dragon and a minotaur making him bigger than the already huge Gulfried. Despite the fact that he already has his powerful scales, he carries a massive double hammer that lays folded on his back. Due to his appearance, his age is unknown, but records state that he is only 54 years old officially making him the oldest of the three leaders.
"Gulfried, are you sure the ritual will work?" Ethra asked to towering human beside her. Her voice was sonorous like a wind singing to the sun.
Gulfried was standing next to her with his hand underneath his chin, "To be honest, I'm not too sure." and replied to Ethra, "Frankly, I think it should work since the records show a successful attempt by my ancestors a century ago." His voice was relatively hoarse despite his appearance.
Ethra looked at the floating continent, Palu'Angit, looming over the horizon, "A century ago... the so called Wrath of Gods happened then, right?" and said worriedly, "What if history repeats itself?"
The demon king Esserot who was standing behind them spoke up while expelling smoke from his nostrils, "Huff, the Wrath of Gods was said to have happened due to the foolishness of our ancestors. As long as we don't repeat the same mistakes, disaster can be averted." His voice was very deep like the chasms of his home.
A mage from the middle approached the three leaders, "Milords, we are ready to begin the ritual." and reported as she knelt before them.
Gulfried smiled, "Good, proceed as scheduled." and said before turning to the soldiers around them. "Warriors of Edeortha! Today, we stand witness to a soon to be historical event! Soldiers, as part of such an event, you are tasked with the protection of the ritual to summon the champion to aid us in our time of need! While the vile Azual continue to lay waste to our homes, we will fight back even to the point of asking for help! This is no longer the matter of pride! No longer a matter of race! We are one! We are all Edeorthans!!"
A loud cheer erupted from all the soldiers, """OOOOOHHH!!! FOR EDEORTHA!!!"""
"STAND STRONG! STAND PROUD! FOR EDEORTHA!!!" Gulfried concluded.
The nearby Ethra and Esserot smiled at Gulfried's speech. "Humans really have a way with speeches." Ethra commented and made Esserot agree, "Indeed. Their tenacity to live despite having short lives makes them a force to be reckoned with."
After Gulfried's speech, the magi around the mana well began chanting and redirected the rich mana to the summoning circle. The summoning circle glowed brightly with the color yellow and began to split into two magic circles, one on top of the other. The top circle rose and stopped at a height of five meters and emitted bolts of raw mana at the apexes of the nine-pointed star in the middle.
*crackle* *crackle*
As the mana bolts bcame louder, the frequency became faster until a bright flash exploded from the middle leaving any spectator blind temporarily. The bright flash, and the sudden lack of crackling mana signaled the end and success of the ritual.
The first one to regain their sight was the human emperor, Gulfried. What used to be a magic circle is now a barren circle. In the middle stood a young girl and made Gulfried exclaim with great joy at the success of the ritual, "WELCOME HERO... es?" but not until he noticed the blue armored man next to the young girl who suddenly spoke, "Long time, no see. Edeortha."
