I Bring Randyl to where Leilaya is, he's been rather subdued it seems. He only tried to steal something once and when he did, I summoned my blood-bound spear to make the situation completely clear for his small mind.
“I trust that I will hear no further complaints?” I say in a threateningly cold tone as I show my killing intent toward the problem maker.
“Of course, great sir but just for general information. What would happen if one was to be caught stealing something?” Randyl asks making his intentions way too clear.
“I would kill that person, devour his soul and desecrate its corpse.”
Randyl gulps forcefully unable to answer my clear threat, he simply looks down avoiding my gaze.
“Did you hear me, Randyl?” I call out the imp trying to avoid my gaze, leaking even more killing intent into my aura.
“Ye…yes great sir.” He says almost stuttering.
“Brilliant, Leilaya please keep an eye ou… You know what never mind.” I stop myself from speaking further almost making a complete blunder.
She seems to have understood what I was trying to say and does not seem amused with the choice of vocabulary. Seeing that I managed to piss off Leilaya, I see this as a sign to retreat. Leaving the reception room, I go towards my still way too luxurious bedroom.
'This is enough socializing for the day.' I think to myself completely mentally tired out from Ashmodai's shenanigans.
'Let's read some books and go to sleep.'

Unknown participant POV:
'A fight between a wraith knight and a shade demon. Could be promising, but could also be a bore. Still, I should use this chance to learn what I can.'
The fight has passed, and it was an absolute spectacle. The 2 individuals were powerful, and the shade demon even devoured the soul of its opponent. The unusual silence of the crowd a momentum on the gravitas this fight had compared to the others.
'I should forfeit. I have no chance of beating these people. You have this shade demon and that old man with an absurd amount of insects.'
I leave the arena towards the abandoned district. I'm a chimera, a failed experiment of some devil or demon. But I'm rather proud of what I've achieved, most chimeras become completely beastlike and lose all sense of humanity. I would consider myself still far more humanoid than beast and I think that's why I've been trying so hard to prove myself. Most chimeras rest in the abandoned district under the protection of Volathriis, but I've never been content with that.

I want to receive a god-given name, be recognized, and find the one who created me. Well, I at least want to find out what happened to him. I don't remember my creator from my time getting experimented on, apparently, some young girl with green eyes killed the researchers.
'Let's just finish this round, I won't have to battle those freaks and maybe that's good enough to receive a god-given name.' I think with a smile on my lips.
'A name, I wonder what type of name I would receive. I'm so excited!'
Night has arrived in Lucille's Light, the abandoned district is quite dangerous during nighttime. Some chimeras made of night animals tend to hunt during this time. Speak of the devil a bestial bat chimera seems to have mistaken me as its dinner. It charges towards me, clearly not mentally sound. I grab his neck and snap it, dropping his corpse before my feet.
“Did you think that a bat chimera would win against me? I'm a mixture of a devil and a wendigo. Doesn't the deer skull instead of a head give it away?” I say towards the corpse in front of me, complaining about his foolishness.
Looking at the dead chimera bat, I start to drool. The desire to feed upon my fallen opponent overtook my rationality.
“Well, it's not like someone is going to miss this.” I say as I'm unable to resist my desire to feed anymore. The flesh tastes rotten and disease-ridden, but the taste doesn't matter as long as I can feed.
“A cannibal? What a disgusting sight.” A voice calls out to me, it seems to be struggling to speak.
I turn around and see the old man from the arena standing there. When did he get there? Why is he here?
“Does cannibalism strengthen wendigos?” “I don't see why I should answer that question.” I respond trying to sound confident. 'Why is he here? Is he here to kill me or is he here to propose a deal?' “I will take that answer as a yes. Take this.” he says as he throws the corpse of a small albino imp towards me. “What are you doing?” I ask, the feeling of anxiety and dread dominating my emotions. “I'm helping you, one last meal before you inevitably pass away.” “Why would I pass away?” Maniacal laughter comes from the old man's mouth, bugs, and insects actively flying out from the sudden movements. “Because I'm killing you.” “The church will not enjoy you breaking the rules.” I say in a bid to make the old man rethink his decision. “That little imp also told me something similar. I truly don't care about the church and its small attempts at order.” The old man rushes towards me, grabbing my deer skull head. Insects start to crawl inside my eye sockets as I feel thousands of small bites throughout my body. I scream in agony as I start to slowly get devoured from the inside out. “See? This is exactly why I'm killing all of you. How many useless fights do I have to participate in before I get to fight my main dish? No.NOOO! Enough, NO LONGER WILL I WAIT!!” He yells showing his madness. “Don't look at me like that, you should have just been stronger. If you were stronger you could have been the main dish. At the end of the day, only you are to blame. You know that don't you?” The old man says whilst caressing my cheekbone. A last scream of agony comes out from my lips as the dark swallows me, beckoning me to rest.
