“Aren't you quite rude, we waited an entire day for your battle, yet it ended before it ever truly began. Don't you think so too, Cornelaius?” Ahsmodai asks Cornelius, clearly trying to get him to tell me some lecture again.
“Indeed, it appears my teachings have been inadequate, but fear not Cornelaius has not given up spirit. For a gentleman never abandons a task!” He exclaims with a fervor that I will probably never experience.
I go next to Idrilth and Eli, ignoring the 2 annoyances who are eager to make some nice. Araam, Eli's spiritual companion, doesn't seem impressed with Cornelius as one eye is filled with annoyance. I pet the small black-furred creature, which brightens its mood considerably.
Seeing that Araam's mood has brightened, I continue towards Eli and offer her to hold my hand. She grabs it as we make our way back towards the Talvit estate.
“I trust there are no issues.” Tharnomath asks me out of the blue.
“Not really, I had a bit of a weird encounter the other day.” I reply honestly in a tone calm and collected tone.
“What do you mean ?” He asks, not wanting to simply leave it at that.
“There was this wraith knight persistently staring at me.” I answer, focused more on Eli, who's listening to our conversation.
“It's probably best if you consider all wraiths an enemy. Their leader is guaranteed to be one.” Tharnomath says to me in his overwhelmingly cold tone.
“Very well, I was wondering when I was going to receive more information.” I answer a bit annoyed.
“Well, even we don't know a lot about our enemies. Ulthris took something from us with the help of the wraith queen. We want you to become strong enough to become an ally that's able to kill Ulthris, while we focus on the wraith and her subordinates.” Tharnomath explains, showing the lack of overall information we have. A frown appears on my face as I didn't expect these 2 to be so unprepared.
“Is that truly the only reason you're helping me?” I ask, making clear that I don't believe that's all.
“A partnership with another powerful demon is simply beneficial. I doubt my brother has any truly sinister plans hidden for you.” Tharnomath responds.
'He is quite the honest man from what I know. Still, I should be careful.' I confirm for myself mentally.
The rest of our return passes by without anything particular happening. I quickly go to rest, feeling irritated and tired by the lack of information we have and what troubles it could bring.
A case of content theft: this narrative is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation.
Waking up, the same routine of the previous days passes by. Entering the locker room, I notice that I'm the only one left.
'Called it.' I say to myself mentally, figuring that this would happen.
Laying myself down on one of the uncomfortable, cold benches. I wait until a priest comes and gets me for my fight.
An hour passes as a figure enters my room. It seems it's my turn to fight as a priest beckons me to follow him. Following the priest, it seems I'm fighting the arena “Rampage of the orc lord” again. It's also the arena where all of my companions are seated, thus I prefer fighting here.
Entering the arena, I look in the crown and manage to see Eli, who looks nervous yet is actively cheering for me. The cheers calm down before they burst again as my opponent enters. On the other side of the arena stands a familiar foe, a dual wielder with a rather thin physique for the armor he wears, the red markings on his face a stark contrast with his pitch-black hair and eyes. Before me stands Uzarai ready to battle. His eyes seem hardened, determined to battle, mine are too as I know what I have to do.
“This is sooner than I expected.” I say loud enough, so he could hear me.
“It's a shame, but you know my situation. I will not be holding back.” He announces unsheathing 2 blades. One is an Armsword while the other is a short sword. The Armsword is a blade made out of some dark yellowish metal with runic enchantments on its handle. The short sword resembles an English Cutlass, the blade made out of silver and the handle made out of gold. Surprisingly enough, the short sword doesn't seem to be in a good state, as multiple cracks could be seen upon the weapon, and it doesn't appear to be enchanted.
Weary about Uzaria's potential ability, I decided to appraise him, A light green resembling that of pure emerald flashes across my eyes.

'This is not going to be easy' I lament, mentally summoning my blood-bound spear as we wait for the signal to begin.
