The fallen angels hear his order and immediately prepare all the necessary requirements. Which is surprisingly little. A paper is placed in front of me where all our spoken words magically appear. Nobody seems surprised, so I acted as if I wasn't surprised either. A male fallen angel gives me a tap on the shoulder as he beckons me to take a fancy-looking knife.
A golden handle and imbued in jewels. It truly looks magnificent.
'I'm glad I decided to ask about that financial support.' I think to myself, looking at the unnecessary amount of jewels on the knife.
Ergillaz also seems to have received a similar-looking knife, as he cuts his palm with the knife. The blood drips on the contract yet instead of staining it seems to get absorbed.
'I guess that is what you would call Blood bound.' I mutter in my head.
Snapping out of my dawdling thoughts, I cut the palm that is already scarred from when I cut myself on that sacrificial rock. Before I cut my hand, I look at it once more, as I suddenly realize something.
'I changed the direction of this life already once through cutting my hand. I hope that this time too it will be a blessing..... Cornelius must never hear that I called his summoning a blessing.'
Finishing my thoughts, I cut my hand as my dark blood seeps out of it onto the contract. No slurping sound, just simply absorbed. The words on the paper contract light up once more, than all the words turn red and reform to chains.

“Well, it appears that the deal has been made. It was a pleasure to make your acquaintance, my dear employee.” Ergillaz exclaims with what I could only assume is excitement.
“It appears so,” I respond, keeping my calm.
“If you need anything, you can come to visit me at the “Talvit estate” in the upper district. “The blood of Luciel” tournament will start in around 3 years. My personnel advice would be to start practicing as soon as possible, but who am I to judge.”
'The most powerful arch devil and the one with who I have signed a contract. I would say you have plenty of room to judge.' I respond in my mind.
“Well, if this concludes all, then I will take my leave.”
Ergillaz gives me a quick nod as if to grant permission as I take my leave.

Ergilazz Talvit POV:
'Who would have expected this?'
I heard from my trusted lieutenant that Kor had been killed. Quite a hassle, but what can you do about it. Gathered a bit of information about this individual and to my surprise almost nothing. Simply: a place to stay, apparently 2 fights, and the fact that he has taken in some little girl.
I did wonder how so little information could be found for someone who was capable of killing Kor, but never did I expect a reincarnation.
He would be perfect. He will easily become a force to be reckoned with in these 3 years, and if I could form a partnership with him. Then that filthy wraith woman and the dumb mountain of an orc could finally be killed.
He could even.....
“No, no, let's not think too far ahead. But.....”
“Argillis, I have a mission for you.”
“What do you command, my lord.”
“The bartender was kind enough to tell us that our new partner is quite familiar with someone called “Ashmodai”. Find out more about him and invite him for a visit.”
“Of course, your grace.”
'If he also saw the potential, then I have to deal with him. Would he be an extra ally or someone I would have to dispose of? I'm quite curious.'
