The Church was no longer an option. The Pope’s actions had deeply disappointed him. The Pope needed the dragon, needing its cooperation to elevate the Church’s prestige. The Church would never attack the dragon for him and his companions. If he returned to the Church and disclosed what happened, at best, he’d be placed under house arrest. And with Kevin now loyal to the dragon, his terrifying power would make it impossible to withstand even one strike. Returning to the Church was a clear path to death.
He felt the fighting qi surging inside him, surprised and thrilled to discover he had reached the Earth level. Dragon, just wait—you'll regret not killing me.
Augustus jumped out of bed, swiftly leaping out the window. The seven or eight-story drop was nothing to an Earth level expert. He landed heavily, the ground cracking slightly under his feet. Ignoring the numbness in his legs, he chose a direction and ran. He was broke and couldn't pay the bill anyway.
The next day, at the U.S. National Security Department.
The place was bustling, phones ringing non-stop. Several operators juggled multiple calls, speaking rapidly and taking notes continuously.
"Oh, good day, sir! What? You saw a UFO? Where and when? We’ll dispatch a team immediately to investigate."
"Yes, don’t worry, we’ll be there soon. Have a good rest."
The operator hung up one call and picked up another.
"Oh, ma'am, what can I do for you?"
"Your cat is missing? Don’t worry, maybe it’s just rummaging in a nearby trash can. Oh, sorry, I mean, keep looking, you’ll find it. Be patient, okay? Have a nice day."
The operator barely had time to take a sip of water before another call came in. He cursed under his breath but then put on a bright smile.
"Hello, sir."
"You saw a dragon? Oh, that’s not a new one. We’ve had several calls about dragon sightings recently."
"Oh, come on, everyone says that. Where and when did you see it? We’ll send a team to investigate right away."
"You say you’re a White Bishop of the Vatican and need to speak to my superior about an urgent matter?"
"Alright, alright! Please hold on!"
Within a day, the message was passed up through the ranks.

On the third day, at the White House.
A middle-aged man hurried towards the President's office, clutching a file.
"Come in," the President's deep voice called.
"Mr. President, the information has been confirmed. Our satellites have detected large creatures in the Andes Mountains, including that giant green bird. These are satellite images." The middle-aged man placed the folder down, spreading the clear photos across the President's desk.
The images made even the usually composed President stand up in surprise.
"Oh, what is this? Kong? Oh, my God, such a huge snake. How can such enormous creatures exist in this world?"
"Mr. President, since the green bird was spotted there, it's likely the dragon is too. This time they won’t escape," the middle-aged man said softly.
The President, taken aback, quickly regained his composure.
"Alright, John, you can go now. I need to think this over." The man named John turned and left, gently closing the door behind him, leaving the office quiet once more.
The President stared at the photos, his brow furrowed. A single giant beast could be a coincidence, but the repeated appearance of massive creatures indicated something unusual about the place.
Humankind had started exploring space, yet they still didn’t fully understand Earth. Many of Earth's mysteries remained unexplained, even with today's technology.
He remembered his visit to Area 51 shortly after taking office. The experience was unforgettable, filled with strange and marvelous things that left him in awe. Prehistoric spacecraft, mysterious minerals, divine chariots, powerful weapons—all played a significant role in maintaining America's technological edge.
If these mountains contained mythical dragons and other giant creatures, there must be a prehistoric site there, something America had to acquire.
With that thought, he picked up a secure phone.
Thirty minutes later, a large combat group was dispatched to a certain mountain range in the Amazon.
In Snake Valley.
Kong left some humans to guard the teleportation array while he and several giant beasts, weakened from blood loss, wobbled out of the canyon towards Snake Valley. They were weak from the massive blood loss and needed to return quickly to prepare for the impending human attack, as their king had warned.
Through several clashes, Kong and the others had come to understand human strength. Their powerful weapons hurt when they struck. But Kong couldn’t understand why, despite their power, the king feared these weapons so much.
Upon returning to Snake Valley, they needed to relocate many snakes. The sacred tree by the waterfall was a treasure and couldn't be allowed to fall into human hands.
Brandon spent half a day underwater, getting lost several times along the way, but eventually, he managed to find his way. Climbing onto a small island, he immediately spread his wings and flew towards the sub-dragon's nest. As his strength increased, Brandon could vaguely sense a unique magnetic wave covering the entire area. He also noticed that no ships or planes ever passed through this space.
He recalled that during his last visit to the island, he hadn't been detected, but as soon as he flew out of this area, he was inexplicably attacked. It seemed this sea region was very mysterious. Technology couldn't detect him here, so he felt safe. Suddenly, he thought of a place: Bermuda! The more he looked around, the more he felt this place resembled Bermuda, with its hot climate similar to the latitude temperature of Bermuda.
Ten minutes later, Brandon arrived at the sub-dragon's nest. The sub-dragon was at the entrance of the cave, repeatedly licking its wounds. Nearly a month had passed since their last encounter, and the sub-dragon had grown to over six meters in length, becoming much stronger. It seemed those flame fruits had significantly aided its development.
