Chapter 55: Sea of Magma

Brandon then took a careful look around. The surrounding area was dark red, crimson magma continuously gushed out from the cracks, and then quickly cooled down, turning into black volcanic rock.

The whole sea was constantly tumbling. The water was filled with a sulphurous scent that made Brandon very comfortable, and he suddenly felt as if he had come home. The temperature of the magma didn't seem to have any effect on him.

Besides his body being warm, there was also a thick and hot aura constantly surging inside his body, and the spirit qi and internal qi in his body seemed particularly active. They flowed automatically. Brandon felt that cultivating here was more than ten times faster than in the forest.

It was dark around him, only some stars dotted as if he was looking at the sky full of stars. He knew that these were some underwater creatures. His sharp eyes couldn't even see how wide this undersea crack was. Some planktons were actually not afraid of the heat and slowly suspended in the boiling water. They were relying on geothermal heat to survive.

In a dark place in the distance, suddenly something seemed to swim by. Brandon couldn't help but be a little alarmed. The creatures that could survive in the deep sea, because of the enormous pressure, in addition to some plankton, tended to be huge in size, along with their strong defences.

Fortunately, he fell next to the underwater volcano, otherwise, he was afraid that he would be reborn again. As he deeply smelled the heavy sulfuric odour, Brandon couldn't help but think of his own dragon breath. Dragon Breath also had this flavour. Could it be connected to this?

He tried to spit out the dragon breath. He had only just moved his thoughts, when suddenly his throat became hot and a scorching flame was spat out. A sea of water boiled violently at once. The dragon's breath lasted a full five seconds before it was slowly extinguished.

He was surprised and a little confused at the same time. He felt that this dragon breath was not quite the same. There was too much difference. Previously, dragon breath was from the abdomen, and the flame temperature used to be very low. But now, the flame originated from around throat and it wasn't even afraid of the water. Even Brandon himself felt that horribly high temperature.

After spraying the dragon breath, the whole body felt weak, as if the whole body's physical strength was drained by it.

He referred to the memories of the divine soul and felt that this kind of dragon's breath was the real dragon's breath. But then he began to wonder. So what was the previous kind? Do all giant dragons possess two kinds of dragon breath?

Since he couldn't figure it out, he didn't care. It shouldn't do any harm anyway. His wounds had already been healed. Scales began to grow out again. In addition to looking a little more tender, they had higher defence ability, more than before. The scales appeared dense with mysterious patterns.

Brandon looked at the pattern, looked a little puzzled. I can't seem to analyse this pattern at all. Atleast not with my eyes.

He could not help but probe out the spiritual power to carefully check. The pattern was immediately clear and incomparable, and he suddenly realised that these patterns were actually like the magic formations in his memory.

At this time, sea water fluctuated violently. Brandon woke up, the original slow flow of magma suddenly became violent. The sea floor suddenly vibrated constantly, and some plankton instinctively swam away slowly as if foreseeing some danger.

Brandon saw that the volcano was about to erupt. He instinctively developed an urge to get close to it, but rationally reminded himself that he should quickly run. Although he was heat-resistant, the temperature of the lava was at least a few thousand degrees. There was no guarantee that his body could actually withstand it.

The lava was getting closer and closer. The slow speed of those plankton could not be compared to the velocity of the flow of lava.

The lava was getting closer and closer. Brandon suddenly turned around and swam away. He couldn't take any chances. After all, another reincarnation wasn't guaranteed.

Brandon desperately swam forward. His huge wings propelled him, as if he was flying in the air.

Suddenly the seabed shook violently, and the pulses spread in the water. The seabed suddenly cracked. Its wideness was enlarged to at least a few hundred feet, and in the middle of it was Brandon, trying to swim away.

Brandon looked around him and saw a flash of red colour, coming from the crack. The viscous fluid was getting shinier and thicker. It was magma.

Before he could react, the enormous amount of high temperature magma engulfed him. When he realised, his body was already wrapped in magma. The reddish magma was flowing around him.

Brandon felt that his body was extremely hot, bringing back a forgotten sensation. In his previous life as a human being when he accidentally touched boiling water, the intense burning pain was etched in his mind.

He was like a rat that was being scalded by the boiling oil, dabbing and jumping up from the magma. Another red wave of magma buried him deeply. He couldn't help but close his eyes and tolerate the pulses of pain slowly spreading underneath his skin.

The hot magma slowly covered all of his body. Brandon felt like he was about to burn to death.

He closed his eyes and kept struggling up and down all around the magma. He kept swimming in the magma, trying to find a way out.

His body kept constantly rolling. He could not recognize the direction. The density of this underwater magma was very high. Brandon felt like he was being drowned in a vicious ball of burning mud. Every move faced resistance, causing pain.

Suddenly his squinted eyes saw something. He found a way out. his wings flapped fiercely, and suddenly the magma shot out in all directions.

He finally came out, he hurriedly swam towards the colder water, away from magma. He swam upstream for thousands of metres before he stopped.

Looking behind, he saw that the previous place had become a sea of lava. His heart palpitated. He looked towards his body to see if he had been burned by the high temperature.

He found that he had actually changed colour, his original golden yellow scale armour had actually turned purple-gold now. A hot and thick aura flowed in every part of his body. What the hell is going on here?
