The entire world was suddenly abuzz. The news of the dragon appearing over the city and destroying three military helicopters spread all over the world.
The bell for the end of school finally rang, and Alice clenched her hands into fists, secretly giving herself a boost. After a while, she finally stood up. She wanted to ask Jack to go get ice cream with her after school.
She walked towards Jack's desk, but instead she saw Jack running next to Lisa and was talking with an excited look on his face.
Suddenly feeling so sad, Alice sat back down in her seat and began to organise her desk. Both ears, however, were pointedly perked up, but being so far away, she didn't hear anything.
After a few minutes had passed, Lisa said to Alice in front of her. "Alice, you haven't left yet, Jack said he'd buy us ice cream, why don't you come along!"
“I am not coming, Lisa. I don't like ice cream. It's better if you guys go.” Alice was secretly exasperated.
"Didn't you always like it before?" Lisa said suspiciously.
"Now I don't like it anymore because I'm taking good care of my teeth and can't eat anything too sweet." Alice clenched her fists tightly and smiled at Lisa.
"You guys go ahead, I'll go first. Otherwise I won't be able to catch the school bus." Alice quickly picked up her backpack and ran out, tears streaming out of her eyes without a fight.
She desperately ran forward, crying as she ran, her hands kept wiping on her face, and before long the whole doll-like delicate face was suddenly spent.
Alice was a strong girl, she didn't want others to see her tears, but she couldn't stop them. She had planned to show Jack the picture of the dragon. But Jack had taken up with Lisa instead. Nothing made sense anymore.
She picked up the picture of the dragon and looked at the mighty dragon in it, and suddenly thought to herself, if only a dragon could take me away. Maybe she would be like the princess in the fairy tale who was taken by the evil dragon.
She never wanted to see the heartless Jack, and the hypocritical Lisa. When Alice returned home, she threw her school bag on the bed.
Froze in her seat for ten minutes.
She finally came back to her senses, and huffed and puffed as she walked to the living room and turned on the TV. The news was playing in it, and it hadn't even been on for a while.
Alice's eyes widened at once.
"I'm a reporter from Z-TV, it's unbelievable, I'm in City G in Mexico and I'm giving you a live broadcast. You guys won't believe that there are really dragons in this world, but it's true. Cameraman come on, come on! Aim at the dragon. The creature coming in from the distance, and there's four military helicopters in front of it, dragging what looks like something. They are being chased by the dragon, which appears to be going very fast." That reporter was very emotional, his chubby face, trembling from time to time. "The speed of the giant dragon is very fast, its body length is around ten metres, and its whole body is purple-golden."
If you discover this tale on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen. Please report the violation.
Alice looked at the whole footage nervously.
"What is that? A fiery red spear suddenly appeared in front of the dragon, what is that, oh my god! The dragon can actually use magic, a helicopter was hit by the spears ......" The chubby reporter looked very excited, his greasy face glowing with excitement.
He continued, "Oh god, the dragon rushed over and it lunged right at a helicopter. Oooh! The paddles actually sent sparks when they hit it. It has a powerful body. The whole helicopter was actually snapped in half by him. Oh, my… it actually spit fire." The obese reporter gasped with horror.
"Riots have erupted in the whole city. Some are saying it's the sign of end times, and some are pointing towards a conspiracy involving a secret government lab."
"We're getting another clip which shows the dragon grabbing one of the fighter jets and releasing another giant creature from the net. Oh Lord, it's another creature!" The obese reporter shouted.
Alice was very excited, her hands were clenched into fists, and when she saw the dragon rescuing a giant bird, Alice suddenly burst into tears.
But after crying, Alice suddenly got worried again. According to the news, the army was going to come and fight the dragon if it didn't leave. She began to pray to God to bless that dragon.
Finally when that dragon finally left with the green coloured giant bird, Alice felt relieved. Alice was in a very excited mood, and her body seemed to be filled with an inexplicable power. She was shouting in the house, when her mother opened the door and came in. Seeing Alice, she was obviously startled.
"Mommy! Mommy! I saw a giant dragon, I really saw a giant dragon, I didn't realise there were really giant dragons out there." The little girl said loudly when she saw that her mom had returned.
Her mother couldn't help but touch her head with worry.
Alice was dissatisfied, "I didn't say anything nonsense, I saw it from the news, it's on every TV station now. There really is a dragon in this world, and it was saving a bird."

In a certain room, the contemporary Pope, Paul VI, sat quietly in his seat with a frown on his face. A document was placed on the desktop. Fingers rhythmically tapped on the desktop, a habit he had developed from thinking about problems.
Suddenly he seemed to have made up his mind about something, and his frown spread out. He pressed a button on his desk, and at once a nun walked through.
"Your Holiness the Pope, may I ask what is the matter?" The nun bowed and said.
"Call Cardinal Haven to my room." Pope Paul VI said indifferently. The nun bowed and walked out of the room.
After ten minutes or so, an old man in red robes with a kind face walked in.
"You're here, sit down." Paul VI said indifferently. "You've received the news about the dragon, right, what do you think?"
"Your Holiness, the strength of our army has been deteriorating in strength since the Middle Ages, and our influence has gotten worse every year. Although the congregation is growing, its influence is getting smaller and smaller. I feel that the appearance of this creature is an opportunity." Cardinal Harwin said respectfully.
"Oh! Continue."
"I feel that since the dragon is existent despite being a mythical creature, it provides indirect proof of the true existence of God, and as long as we subdue the wyrm, our influence will greatly increase. And you, Your Holiness the Pope, will also be immortalised in history for this one great feat." Harvin glanced at the Pope and bowed.
The Pope's expression was a bit intent, but he didn't make an obvious statement as he frowned.
Time passed minute by minute. The atmosphere of the entire room seemed very grave.
Finally the Pope stood up, as if he had made some sort of decision, and he said to Harvin, "You go to the London subway station and look for a man named Kevin. Be sure to remain respectful. He is one of the most distinguished ascetic of our Order.”
