Chapter 21 - Beast Kingdom

"Good morning girls!" I greet them as they are walking out of their tents "Come eat I made breakfast"

"Y-you didn't wake us up?" Sophy is pouting because I didn't let them take watch last night.

"I couldn't wake you, you both looked so cute while sleeping" I said teasingly to cheer her up

"I-IDIOT!" She punched my arm as her cheeks turned bright red

"So master likes to watch us as we sleep... Master is a pervert" She said while winking at me

"N-no I'm not you just looked so tired..." I try to plead my case but its to no avail these girls are ruthless.

We all sit down on the logs around the fire, I made the girls a meat stew. I know it's not the best quality but I still have yet to get the cooking skill.

"Please enjoy!" I said while handing out bows of stew.

"Thank you!"

"Thanks master"

As the girls were eating I took this time to clean up the camp by storing away the tents and feeding the horses we got last night. I just handed them some vegetables we gathered in the forest on our way here, I promise to feed them properly once we get to the Beast Kingdom.

As the girls finished their meal, I put away the cooking supplies and stomp out the fire. As I was storing the logs in my storage Abby finally realized there was a carriage and horses here...

"Master what did you do?" She looked at me awkwardly while making her way to the horses "Did you kill someone master?"

"There was a slaver who came here last night... He had a carriage full of Elf's and Dwarfs" I said coldly without showing any emotion

*Gulp*

I can hear the girls visibly shutter at the thought I could kill people so nonchalantly...

"M-master are you okay?" She asked sadly making her way over to me.

"I'm okay I don't feel bad for what I did. The guy was a slaver he deserved to die." I just responded coldly and continues to store away our camping supplies

"Huh" Abby hugged me from my back taking me by complete surprise.

"Please rely on us more master!" She said while pouting

"OUCH!" Abby pinched my arm out of no where "What was that for!"

"Because you are dumb! You should value life more master..." She puffs out her cheeks while stomping her foot "At least the horses are cute though!"

"S-so where are the slaves at Onyx?" Sophy asked curiously

"I gave them an option to be free or live in our Kingdom where there's no racism. They chose to join our Kingdom so I removed their slave brand and let them through the portal"

"Our Kingdom?" Sophy's eyes went completely wide as she covered her face to hide her embarrassment

"To think master would be so bold..." Abby's face is also flushed with crimson...

"Yes our Kingdom, now we have a long day of travelling... Would you like to ride the horses or the carriage?" I asked trying to get past the awkward confession I just made.

"We can't take the carriage as it's a slaver carriage. They will know you did something to them, so please get rid of it."

Sophy is right, I completely overlooked that possibility. There was probably someone waiting for his arrival at the Beast Kingdom to purchase the slaves.

"Understood we will continue by horse." I open my storage and push the Carriage into it. "That takes care of that"

"Okay are we ready girls?" I asked curiously

"Yes!" They said in unison before mounting their horses.

Oh I almost forgot, I can't just leave this land in this state. It's completely burnt to a crisp, I reach out my hand while concentrating on grass growing.

"Grow" A green mist covers the burnt grass before quickly regrowing the tall grass to its full length.

"Hurry up master!" Abby pouted

"I'm coming" I said defeatedly "Beast Kingdom here we come"

After a few hours on horse back we can see the Beast Kingdom in the distance, we saved over a days worth of walking by taking horseback. Thank you Mr. Slaver for the beautiful horses, although you wont be able to hear me right now.

As we near closer to the gates we can see a line of beast folk but I don't see any Humans here? I guess that would make sense, why would they visit people they believe are below them.

"HALT!" The guard yelled to us as we reached the gate "Please state your business here Humans"

"We are just travelling by sir, I promise we carry no racism to your people" I pleaded to the guard hoping he'll let us in.

"Where are your parents? You look like a bunch of kids..." He spit at the ground in front of us.

"We are here on our own sir! Please allow us entry we mean you all no harm..."

The guard looks us up and down for a bit before stepping aside signaling us to enter the gate.

"I will be watching you three, so you better not try anything funny."

"Y-yes" The girls replied quietly

"You have our word sir, thank you for allowing us entry." I smile and wave at him as we continue into the city.

As we enter I can't help but be unimpressed with the state of the city, it looks almost as if the building were just thrown up in a rush. There is absolutely no pride taken in building these buildings they look as if they are one bad storm from falling over...

"This place is in rough shape..." I said under my breath

"Yes I feel sorry for them having to live in these conditions..." Sophy shared my sentiment

"This is how it is for us Humans refuse to trade with us which limits the resources we can access." Abby said it like it was only natural that the city is in this state

So it's our fault huh... Damn racist Humans just wait, once I'm in charge no one will be allowed to treat other races like this...

"How unfortunate... Let us find an Inn we can stay at for a few nights."

"Let's hurry as I don't know if I can handle anymore of these stares." Sophy said awkwardly

She wasn't exaggerating in the slightest, we have been the center of attention the moment we entered the city. The beast-kin here are staring daggers through us, if only they knew we wish to help them...

As we continue through the city we stopped at multiple inns, we were denied at every single one... As we were about to give up we saw another one slightly inside an alley "Bear Cave Inn" it's worth a shot even though it looks sketchy.

We hitch our horses to the posts and head inside.

"Oh that's what all the fuss outside was about, a couple humans came here... How strange" The large beast folk who looks like a bear circled us staring us up and down.

"H-hello sir, we would like to purchase a room here please!" I said exhaustedly as I was worn out from asking just to be denied over and over.

"No I can't let you stay here, it would only bring trouble... Sorry lad" He said sorry but I couldn't sense an ounce of it in his voice.

"Understood, well Sophy, Abby, It looks like what the humans said was right. The beast-kin really won't work with us, let us be off..." I grab their hand and head for the door while looking at the ground.

This was of course all an act, I want to see if there's someone who's willing to make a change and work with humans. I know I'm being manipulative but what choice do I have here...

"That's unfortunate my King... Maybe the next town will work with us." Sophy caught on and replied to me as King. She made a depressed look with her face, she really is an amazing actress.

"K-king? You are a King my boy?" The bear man eyes went completely wide while staring me up and down.

"Y-yes I am the King of Space Kingdom. A Kingdom that does not allow any racism or discrimination a land where everyone is truly equal!" I preached while holding my hand to my chest.

"That sure does sound like a fairytale, but your hearts in the right place boy... three nights, that's all I can do for you."

He seems to have gone back to normal thinking we are making up that I'm a King, but he looks to be more willing to work with us. Three nights huh... I'll take it, but to be honest I as kind of hoping we would be denied so we can sleep in my Kingdom.

"We will take it sir" I bowed to him and paid him three silver.

We followed him up the stairs, he led us to the end of the hall away from all the other customers.

"Here you are, please get situated. We serve our guests three meals a day, so look forward to that." He handed me the key and gave me a wink. Then headed back down the stairs

I opened the door and noticed there was only one small bed, if we were to all sleep here we would have to be cuddled up.

"YES!" The girls yelled without hesitation as if they were waiting for this moment...

"Hey don't get any funny ideas you two, we are just sleeping together. Nothing funny will happen until we are adults!" I scold them but their cheeks just get redder and their smirks deepens as I said when we get older.

"He really is bold isn't he." Sophy said teasingly to Abby.

"Yes master has confessed his love for us over and over this week!" She winked at me before going in the room and plopping onto the bed.

Confessed my love? When did I do that? But I guess they aren't wrong, I would do anything for these two!

"Okay let us rest! We are going to the Adventurer guild tomorrow." I lay next to Abby on the bed quickly closing my eyes to hide my embarrassment.

"Y-yes goodnight!" Sophy cuddled up behind me squishing me in between her and Abby.

"P-please be gentle master" Abby said seductively, I swear this damn masochist Elf will be the death of me...

"Stop it idiot" I bop her head before dozing off into a deep sleep.

Meanwhile in the Space Kingdom.

*Welcome to the Space Kingdom please listen to the rules of this world*

"W-who is that?" One of the older Dwarfs asked panickily

"Hey lads it's me Brock." The smiling Dwarf was waiving at them "This is the Kingdom I told you all about where racism and discrimination doesn't exist. I assume you met King Onyx?"

"Y-yes we met a child who saved us from slavery... To think a place like this is possible I'm sorry I doubted you Brock" The old Dwarf just hangs his head down low

"Hey old man how did you even get captured... To think the Dwarf King would be here in person" Brock just chuckled and punched the old Dwarfs arm.

"I am no longer a King... I was overthrown and sold into slavery. Our people did not agree with me allowing you and the rest of them to join a Humans Kingdom..."

"So that's how it was huh... Well you are welcome here with open arm's your maje... Brody" Brock extends his hand to the ex king reassuring him he is safe now.

"T-thank you Brock, I'm sorry I doubted you"

"The past is the past, but we are going to need extra hands. We just got allot more people and not enough homes, so we got work to do!" Brock looked at the people lining up in front of him "Please team up with the other groups that suit your skill set, if you have no skill set please join a group you wish to learn in."

"YES!" The group in front of Brock yelled with excitement

To them this is almost too good to be true but they will not let a opportunity like this slip away from them.

Over the course of ten days the Dwarfs worked on the construction of the small town as the Elf's did all the farming and Husbandry. They learned to Co-exist despite their people being at odds for centuries, none of them are willing to give up this chance over something as silly as racism.

The town has been progressing at a rapid pace, the street has a beautifully crafted road running along the middle of it made of hand carved stones. There is shops being slowly built up in a circle formation around a giant statue they made in honor of Onyx. To them he is truly their savior, and this is the least they can do too thank him. They built small houses on the upper left side of the city to house the Dwarves and Elf's. Each house has a walkway connected to it so everyone can move freely and comfortably to and from work.

*Hello Brock, may I ask something selfish from you?* Admin asked Brock as he reached his new smithy

"Oh hey Admin it's been a while! How may I help you?" He asked curiously as Admin never communicated with them.

*I wish for you and your people to help build Onyx's castle... I wish to surprise him when he returns*

To build a castle for Onyx huh... I will make it better then any castle on Gaia!

"I accept your proposal Admin, I will make King Onyx's castle larger then any castle on Gaia!"

*I appreciate your enthusiasm, I will give you access to his floating island until the construction is finished*

"I will do my best"
