Chapter 16 - Manipulating my Domain

*I hope you like what I've done with the place master* Admin said in a confident tone

"I don't know what to say... How did you do this in so little time?" I'm dumbfounded at the sight in front of me

I feel like I only just collected the resources for the floor, so how?

There's a 1x1 mile wide square of rich soil, with trees lining the outer edges. In the right corner there's a giant rock formation, with a waterfall leading into a small lake. I'm assuming the rocks were repurposed for this from the mountain I added to my storage.

As I look in shock, I do realize it's missing diversity. It's pretty standard plot of land, but I'm more shocked in the time it took to accomplish this.

*Time flows differently here master, what may be only 1 minute for you. Could be centuries inside your space*

"Interesting...So how long has it been for you, since I've added the trees."

*I stopped time at 5 years master, just enough time for everything to settle for when you return.*

"So you are able to adjust the time in here at will?" I ask curiously

*Yes, and so can you, just say the word master.* Admin sounds almost too proud at this, but it is amazing I must say

"I only have one question, that will determine my answer"

*I will answer to the best of my ability master*

"Will I still age inside this domain?" This has been weighing on me for a while, while training in here would be great I cant risk aging to the outside world.

*Only if you wish it master, as you control time in this domain. If you wish to not age, then you wont age. If you wish to be older or younger, then it will be so. As long as you aren't killed on the outside world, then you are immortal master.*

*Gulp* Did they just say immortal?

"C-can other people enter this Domain against my will?"

*No normal person can enter this Domain without your permission, however... If you were to make enemies with other Gods, they can force their way in here*

Other Gods, they referred to me as a God again... Is that really what this is? I'd rather not ask and find out, I still have a long ways before I'm ready for such a title.

"Understood I will keep that in mind Admin. So let's sort out the time in here shall we!"

*Just say the word master*

"For now lets make it 10:1, for every 10 days here 1 day passes in Gaia" This will give me the benefit of training, but also won't be too taxing on the residents who will occupy this land in the future.

*Done*

*Every 10 days shall be 1 day in Gaia, any other requests master?*

That was fast, but I should also get the aging out of the way while I'm here

"I wish to age at the rate I would on Gaia, can you make that a possible?"

*Done*

*Anything else master?*

"I wish to train here time to time, can you make a secluded section outside of the 1x1 border, it doesn't have to be big. Just away from prying eyes, I do not wish for the future residents to watch me."

*Understood master, I will work on that after you depart*

"As for resources, there should still be extra stone from the mountain I dumped here yes?"

*There is a large stock pile of Stone, Ore, Coal and Soil left from the mountain. I will work on your training area right away, it shall be done before you return.*

"Thank you Admin, I really appreciate your help!" I would be so lost if they were not here, but I still wonder just who are they?

"O-okay, I will be leaving now. I can't wait to see what you make of the place!"

*I will do my best, take care master*

"You too"

"Exit"

It has been several weeks since I first created my Domain, I have been locked in my room working on a new invention with Mana Infusion. You see since I can add the space attribute to things I craft, I got the wild idea to make a door...

Okay hear me out, a door that leads to my Domain. This would allow my family and friends to come in and out, and we can keep in touch even if I go to the university. I almost got it complete too, I had a few hiccups where it was linked to the timeless void of my storage skill. But with a few tweaks here and there, I finally made some progress.

I swing the door open, and my eyes widen. I can see grass on the other side of the door, I wonder If I can put this anywhere inside my Domain...

"A-alright lets go!" Yelled Sophy from behind me, ever since I explained what I was doing she has been here everyday.

My mom has been getting some wild ideas about there being a girl in my room, but she must understand this is for science!

"O-okay let me go first okay, I will wave from the other side if it's safe." I said determined

Although she protested, she understood my intentions. I step into the portal behind the doorway.

To my surprise as I look up, there is an infinite void of stars and space. I can see the tree line just barely on the edge of the border, as well as the waterfall.

*Welcome back master, I see you have done something crazy...* They almost sound worried

"Y-yes I made a doorway to our Domain, will that be an issue?"

*No it wont be an issue, but I must warn you... The current doorway you have made is open to anyone, you should adjust it to only allow certain people. You do not want unwanted visitors inside your domain, well even if they did try something I could cast them into an endless void.." Admins tone got really dark there for a minute

"I will work on it, please until then if there are visitors causing trouble cast them to the void." I said with a mischievous grin, maybe I'm not so much better then Admin.

*What would you consider trouble master? You should make some rules for your Domain*

"Good point Admin... Okay here let me tell you my rules for now" I start explaining them in detail to Admin

1. Equality - Everyone will be equal inside my domain, regardless of race, wealth or bloodline.

2. Basic morals - Treat everyone with respect, no stealing, fighting, kidnapping, rape or murder. (Anyone who breaks this will be punished in relation to their crime)

3. I am the only ruler here, no one else is in charge besides me.

"If anyone breaks these rules, please exile them to the void. Soon I wish to make a prison system, but we should wait until we have people before we worry about criminals."

*Yes master, I will keep those in mind. I will recite them to anyone who enters your Domain, if they break them after they are the only ones to blame.*

That's pretty smart to do, this way they can't accuse me of kidnapping or violating their rights.

"T-that would be appreciated Admin, Oh it seems Sophy is about to step through. Please treat her kindly, she is very important to me."

As I was having a full conversation with Admin, I almost forgot about the time difference between worlds. The few seconds of talking here was over a minute in Gaia, I need to remember that for next time.

"W-what is this place..." Her eyes go completely wide as she takes in all of her surroundings

*Hello Sophy, this is masters Domain.*

Admin greeted her immediately

"Welcome Sophy, as Admin said this is my Domain. Everything in here belongs to me, I hope you enjoy it!" I said while puffing out my chest

"D-does that mean I also belong to you now?" She grinned widely while turning bright red

"H-huh no I don't own people Sophy, but you are my favorite person!" I yelled at her

*silence*

She is completely red now just staring at the floor moving her feet

I decide to break up the awkward tension

"The time in here is 10:1, 10 days here is 1 day in Gaia. Soon we will be training in here to cram in more training in the short time we have."

"O-okay... So we can train 80 hours here in the time we would train 8 hours outside?" She asked curiously while stepping closer to me

"That would be correct, although we wouldn't be training the whole time. That would be impossible to train that long straight, we would need to rest and eat inbetween"

"S-so do I get to sleep with Onyx..." She turned away slightly before whispering something under her breath

"...Can't wait" She murmured lightly

I pretend not to hear her remark, and just smile back at her while nodding

"The door in my room will remain open, if you wish to come here while I am not around please feel free to."

I look up to the sky where I imagine Admin is at

"Admin, am I able to move this portal to a better spot?" I ask curiously

*Yes master, just say the word*

"Is the training area complete? I know you were working diligently on it!"

*Yes it is complete master, it's very standard for now. I can mold the landforms, but any buildings will have to be made by you or others*

So their limit is the land huh, well I guess that's still good.

"S-so where is the training area Admin?"

*Look up master*

I look up and my mouth just drops, there is a huge floating island moving in the sky

*I made it so you can look down on your people master, they will never escape your watchful eye. They will also know you are their ruler, please come and check it out*

While that's very egotistical of them to think that, I won't deny it. The people here should know I am the one in charge...

"O-okay lets do it... How do we get up there?"

*Space jump master, you can travel any distance inside your domain with pinpoint accuracy. Just imagine the location and jump.*

"Grab onto me Sophy, we are going up" Sophy quickly grabbed to my back, while pushing her head into my chest

"Teleport"

My vision goes blurry for a second, then I'm standing on a large rock formation with a huge circle of soil in the middle

"You really outdo yourself every time Admin"

*Your words are too much master*

"W-woah, we will be training here Onyx?" Her eyes are wide again staring down at the ground below

"Yes we will be training here, but there is a large space of land here. Maybe I could build a castle in the future, what do you think?"

*You will be an excellent King master* Admin said almost like it was only natural

"I will be a Queen?" Her eyes are just wide as she's staring into the void

Queen? Wait is she already planning for us to be married? I'm still only 8, but... I wouldn't mind if we got married once we are 18.

"In the future maybe, but for now we have nobody to rule over" I stare at the lush land below, completely devoid of life.

There are multiple squirrels and small animals I stole from the forest. I didn't have time to remove them from the tree before transferring them, so I can only hope they like their new life.

While I'm thinking I had a bright idea, it would probably be hard to track the time in Gaia if we are too busy training.

"Admin I have a question"

*Yes master?*

"The stars, can you move them to display the time. One for inside the Domain, and one for Gaia. This way we can track how long we have been inside, as to not be late on the outside"

*Very good idea master, consider it done*

I look up, to see hundreds of stars being pulled together... Admin must be really powerful, I'm confused on why they are willing to work for me...

"A-amazing" Sophies mouth is wide open watching the sight above

"Admin is truly amazing, I'm grateful for your help!" I yelled out to the void

*Anything for master*

The stars finally settled, displaying the times with the worlds name above them

Onyx's Domain

Amazing! With this I won't have to worry about over training.

"Right, starting tomorrow Sophy we will meet at my room before training"

"H-huh..." Her face turns a bright crimson

"For training!" I yell noticing my mistake on words

"R-right... Stupid" She punches my arm then covers her face in embarrassment

"Okay Admin, we will make our leave."

*I will be awaiting your return master*

"As will I" I said proudly

"Oh before I forget admin, please move the portal linked to that door here. The door is in my home, so there is no risk of intruders."

*Consider it done master*

Me and Sophy walk through the portal, then I walk her home for the day. We were going to train more, but I can see she is still in shock from what she just saw.

"Onyx! Where did that kid go..."

"Did you check his room babe?" Thomas said curiously

"Not yet, I didn't want to intrude" She said sadly

"Shall we wake him up together? Just like old times huh?"

"Deal!" She said happily, skipping to Onyx's room.

They open the door and see Onyx is not there, they walk in and sit on the bed

"I sure miss when he was still a baby, I could just play with him whenever I wanted" Emily starts forming tears in her eyes

Thomas sees this and sits next to her before embracing her.

"It will be okay honey, but I have one question..."

"Yes dear?" She looks up with tear filled eyes

"You see that door there to right?" Thomas completely encapsulated by the random door in his room

"W-what?" She rubs her eyes before locking onto the door

Thomas and her walk over to it, as they twist the handle and open it they are met with grass and a sky of stars.

"WHAT THE FUCK?" They yelled in unison
