Chapter 15 - Playing with space

Many months has passed by since I was first taught magic by Sophy. In that time we have been going out hunting together every day, and when we are home I spend the time mastering my space attribute.

I've made significant progress, no that would be an understatement. As I travel deeper into my attribute, I learn just like space it is truly infinite.

Infinite possibilities and they are all mine for the taking, I just have to harness this power, control it and master it.

The main thing I've been working on was teleportation, but I was going about it the wrong way this whole time. I was trying to get to point A to B, that was such a mundane way of thinking...

After many trial and errors, I finally got it. It's not about jumping from point A to B, why jump when you can simply bring point B to point A and walk through.

Yes I mean exactly that, fold space itself on top of each other. This allows me to bring my destination to me, although it's still really finicky and taxing on my body I'm able to move within 100 meters perfectly.

Anything past that, I end up somewhere other then my destination... But I will master this, and soon the world will be mine for the taking!

I still have a long ways to go, Sophy can't really help me anymore as she has a completely different attribute. But it's cute to watch her staring at me so intently as I train, it's a boost in confidence!

"Onyx are you able to bring people with you while you do that?" She asked curiously

"I haven't tried that yet, but it's probably not safe with how I am currently. Once I improve we can test it!" Good question, but honestly I'm still too scared to try it.

"O-okay please use me for your test!" Sophy's eyes are full of determination

I know she wants to help me with this, but it's just too dangerous. Maybe I will attempt to teleport monsters first, they are the perfect test subjects.

Another thing that has been daunting on me is my "Storage" skill. How exactly does it work, where does it go too. And if I can control it, How can I control it or what I will do once I'm able too.

So far I'm able to open the space itself, but it's just a void of nothingness. No oxygen, sunlight, or any foot holds. I peer inside and I can see my floating items in the void, but there is nothing else besides stars.

Maybe I can extend my consciousness to it, and attempt to control it then? What's there to lose.

I quickly sit down, cross my legs and close my eyes. I understand storage is the basic skill so let me attempt to make it into my own.

Envision the void, envision the emptiness and make it your own.

As I peer through the endless space, I can sense everything... and too my surprise there is a border but not where you would think it is. Instead of it being on the sides or up above, no.... the border is on the floor of the space, albeit so far down it seems impossible to reach.

But if I can reach it, I can start realizing the future of this skill. One thing I was debating for a long time, a Kingdom of my own. My own Kingdom in my own Dimension, in this Kingdom everyone will be equal. And with me ruling over them, anyone who wishes to spread negativity to other races will be banished! I so wish to make this a reality, but I know it will take allot of time and effort...

I see it, after about five hours of diving down into nothingness, I hit the floor with my consciousness. I make sure to remember this place the best I can, then release my "storage". Now time for step two, making this skill my own!

I remember the place I was just at, I envision a 1x1 mile square... Making a perfect cube to start with, if I can make this a possibility then in the future I can expand it endlessly.

As I'm trying to perceive infinity, I hear a voice in my head. But it's my voice, not from my thoughts but coming somewhere deeper... My subconscious? I hear it more and more clearly now... Fine I'll listen but if this goes wrong I swear!

"Domain"

*Swoosh*

A portal of stars has just appeared in front of me, almost inviting me to step into it. Is this really the smart thing to do? This definitely feels like a trap...

I swallow my resolve and look at the portal again, it really is calling me...

"Sophy do not follow me, I will be back."

I step into the portal, where I was teleported was on the floor of the space I had just envisioned.

*Welcome Master* The void called out to me!

"W-who are you?" I asked scaredy

*I am an extension of your will master, the possibilities are endless. All you have to do is imagine them, and they will be so master.*

"Just have to imagine them correct." I asked curiously

*Yes master, there are limitations. As in if you wish to create something, then you will need the resources to do so.*

I sit on the space floor pondering... I got it!

"Before we start, what should I call you" I asked curiously

*Whatever you wish master, for I only bend to your will*

"Are you bound to this space?"

*Unfortunately this is the only place I can aid you master, as this is your domain.*

"What is a domain?" This has really piqued my interest.

*When hero's will effects the world, they may create a domain of their own. This does not happen often, but with your will and determination it has been made so.*

"Hero huh... So there are other domains like this one.?"

*There are not, you are the first to make space and time bend to your will master. Truly impressive feat, as space does not accept just anyone.*

"Are there Hero's still alive in this world? Can you explain their domains?" I ask curiously, I want to know what I may have to fight against.

*There can only be one hero at a time, you are the only one with a domain master.*

"H-huh well that's good... What can I do here exactly."

*Anything you can imagine, space and time is truly limitless.*

"C-can other people come here? I wish to make my own Kingdom! Where people can live equally!"

*That's very valiant of you master. Yes other's may enter here, and with them here it will also benefit you. As this is your domain, you are in control of everything. If they train their skills, it is no different then you training them. If they farm food, you will be able to call it through storage no matter what. That goes for anything and everything, this world... No this space is truly only yours master.*

This world? Is that what this is? Does this make me some kind of God? Impossible, I definitely heard that wrong...

"So what do I need to collect first, err..." Right I still haven't named them...

So they manage this place in my stead, should I just call them manager? Maybe system? ahhh I don't know... I truly suck at naming people

"Hmmm, Okay I got it. Your name will be Admin, I wish for you to keep this place in check even in my absence." I said proudly

*It shall be so, from today my name is Admin*

*As for your first question, I would first gather soil for the land to be built on. I can place it on the floor here, all you have to do is open your "Storage" And allow it to fall in.

"Soil huh, so I would be stealing from Gaia..." I'm now not so certain this is a good idea.

*Gaia will not intervene, they have been dormant for some centuries. Please just collect enough for the floor, I would not overdo it master*

They sounded pretty confident when they talked about Gaia... I wonder if they know each other. I will ask at a later time, for now lets get that soil.

"I will leave now to do so, how do I leave by the way?" I asked trying not to panic.

*Just think it, and it will be*

"O-okay well until next time, I look forward to your partnership Admin"

"Exit"

I see a portal in front of me, as I step through it I see Sophy staring at me confused.

"I'm back Sophy, sorry to scare you!" I said apologetically

"W-what are you talking about Onyx, you never left. Did you hit your head or something?"

Huh... I never left? No way, I get it now. Space and Time, my sub space is time frozen. So time in there is infinite while this is not, very very interesting... Maybe I can adjust it next time, I will have to talk with Admin. But I'm sure it's possible, it has to be!

On the other hand, what if I trained inside of there. I could accomplish years of training in under a second. I should really weigh the pros and cons of this "Domain."

W-wait would I still age inside? It could be bad if I suddenly appear a few years older... I really need to talk to Admin!

"U-uh I will explain everything later, for now I must go. I will be back in 2 hours, I promise." I bow to Sophy and Abby and make my way to the forest.

I'm going to add the trees into my subspace as well, I'm not doubting Admin. But I would like natural oxygen to form in there, hopefully Gaia won't be too mad at me.

Things progressed smoothly, I sucked up trees whole. Tree, roots, soil and even the creatures living in the tree. Nothing was safe from my entering my "Storage."

I was tempted to even throw monsters inside as for adventurers to hunt, But that should come at a later time. When I fully master my domain, so I can keep the people inside safe no matter what.

I'm about four miles into the woods currently, and my eyes open wide! I see what looks to be a mountain.

I head over to it with haste, I noticed its bottom half is more rock and cave systems. But the top half has a decent sized lake sitting on the plateau of the mountain, this could be beneficial in many ways.

This will be the biggest thing I've ever tried to store, but if space is truly infinite... then this should be okay right?

"Forgive me Gaia, I promise to pay you back."

"Storage"

The mountain vanishes, the only thing left is the multiple cave systems that were connected under it.

I grin with greed, I just opened up a gold mine for an aspiring blacksmith such as myself. Who knows what kind of ore is just laying inside waiting for me!

I may have over done it, but that definitely should have been enough soil for the space. With the mountain, rock formations, and trees I cant see my domain holding more then that.

While on my way home, I practice my spatial jumping. By folding space in front of me, I hop through 100 meters at a time all the way home.

Unfortunately when I reached the garden, I no longer see Sophy and Abby training. They must have already headed home... Shame I wanted to walk them home, but there's always tomorrow I guess.

Before walking inside, I decide to check my domain. Time doesn't pass in Gaia while inside so it should be okay!

"Domain"

*Welcome back master*

"Woah" My eyes go large at the sight in front of me
