The coming match came as fast as the last one ended, being ushered back up and onto the battlefield before she had really come to a conclusion on what to do if she does take a serious hit…

“Please welcome back to the semi-finals, a Mage who battles as she looks, hidden, yet powerful, a sage in MMA, and a heavy damage dealer, The Psychic Mage, KillPrinsX!”

She stepped out and the crowd went wild. Their appetite for magical assault beginning to be satiated. She’ll put on a good show this time… and another one after that.

“And fighting her today, a long time gamer, a serious player in quite a few previous MMORPG’s, and a proven tactical monster, please welcome Area51!”

Again the crowd roared as Area51 walked onto the field. He started waving his arms to get the crowd to cheer more, but after a few seconds they hushed up, craving this next fight.

“Ready!”

Custom Buff, Shield, Mana Capsule.

“Fight!”

A Blast of Darkness came straight at her. She hardly had enough time to even think about it, but her reflexes kept her alive this time.

The Dark Blast swerved for her, and she did a double dash, and threw her Flaming Rock.

She missed!

And the Dark Blast stopped.

She only hoped that his Mana was now as low as her’s, keeping it to low level spells for the time being.

She was wrong…

She heard a distinct crackle in the air above her, and then she was out, Electrical damage causing her health to tick lower and lower.

By the time she got up, she already had magic missiles flying her way. With a stroke of luck she evaded them laying down. The missiles exploding hardly a foot away from where she was now.

She got up and got ready for whatever else he may send her way. But it was hardly a fair fight now. It seemed like he had endless Mana and attacks to throw. She was down to less than 50 MP and struggling to stay alive.

She took 100 MP from her Mana Capsule, just to keep her safe from anything else, even if she had to evade for the next five minutes.

He sent out more Magic Missiles, and lots of them.

They were fast, and many. The only chance she had was to run!

Luckily, she was fast, and timing it well while turning on sneak, she had gotten by without another hit.

The crowd cheered, her speed was really shining through.

Now, all she had to do was get in a good hit… not yet, she’s waiting for that Mana Capsule to recharge.

She ran around some more, zigzagging about, stopping briefly just so he could cast something, trying to keep his Mana low.

She did well, and she could see that Area51 was getting angry. He stopped his slow shots and started throwing lightning bolts. Not the big ones, he didn’t have enough Mana for that, but he threw them like a Roman God.

She still didn’t have trouble with those… not until he shot a wild one and she ran into it by accident.

She was down again!

More spells and magic came her way. They weren’t nearly as strong as the big Lightning Bolt, but they stung! Every hit she took kept her on the floor. She tried to evade but got pummeled even more.

Wait! She has something. She had enough Mana for it, one last attempt to survive…

She used Electric Manipulation, stopping one Lightning bolt and causing it to fly backwards. She got a hit in!

But the remaining shots got by her feeble attempt. Her HP, already dangerously low… dropped to Zero.

“Ten! Nine!…”

KillPrinsX was still there, she hadn’t defaulted yet… at least they had given her the chance to watch the end… Area51 had just recover from his Electric shock and jumped in joy listening to the countdown.

Fire erupted around her while a bright and fiery Phoenix flew up and into the sky.

She stood once more. HP full, Mana full… Wow!

“Four! Three!… and she’s back in the game!”

Now, it was her time to shine!

She cast Electric Fireball, watching it fly, Area51 trying to evade, and the fireball snapped into him.

“A good return!” The commentator yelled. “She’s back with a vengeance.”

She didn’t wait, charging Boiling Water Blast quickly, and sending him flying back with 2nd degree burns.

He still had some life in him… and so did she.

She summoned her creature, Mother, 300 MP. Boy, was it big. The huge bear roared. KillPrinsX yelled, “Attack!”

The bear ran for Area51, snarling and everything. It barreled along, fast, mouth wide open, aiming for the head.

One bite, Electric damage! What?! Water flooded down from nowhere, the bear stomped the ground and electricity sparked all around.

Maybe the bear thought his prey wasn’t deep fried enough and bit him again, lifting him up and shaking him.

“Uhh, right, countdown… Ten! Nine!…”

The bear absolutely tore him to shreds and ran off to a corner to chew on his disembodied leg.

“We have a winner in the semi-finals! KillPrinsX!!!”

She took her Blue Martini gladly and was ushered off and back inside.

The next fight… the last in this competition.

Boy that was close, someone with good tactics. Actually his cast speed was ridiculous, and he seemed to have endless Mana. She’ll have to find out how to get that after the tournament. But for now, she has to survive one more.

She didn’t have much time to sit. They gave her fifteen minutes to get herself back together before the final fight.

She was utterly nerve wracked. She almost died, if it wasn’t for her extra life. She’s never heard of something like that. Never! Maybe there were some stories floating around about extra lives…

She went to activate it again.

Born From Ashes can only be cast once per day. Cooldown time: 23:52.

Shit! That means no extra lives… what if this fight goes like the last one. First one down is basically dead in this battle.

She got herself together. Focused.

She was ready.
