A gust of air trembled her heart as he spoke. “Well done. You brought me back a small Human to ward off my hunger. I will give you the vial of The Blood of the First.”
She had been bowing to her lord and stood up now, catching his gaze as he motioned behind her. The enthralled human was standing sleepily to the side. She noticed the vial was sitting on the table, she picked it up and put it in her inventory.
You have acquired a vial of The Blood of the First!
The Blood of the First is something not to trifle with. It is powerful beyond your wildest dreams. One vial will be all it takes to transform you into a Vampire Lord, capable of utter destruction.
But be careful, this may be the only chance you get.
She stood in awe as she read the description.
“As I said,” Lord Lucretius repeated, “I hunger for something more. A Human feeds for a day, an Angel feeds for a year, there are few in between, but I crave for more.”
Food for a Year
Lord Lucretius thanks you for your hard and loyal work. But he craves for more. Find more advanced Humans, Angels, Demons, Elves… his appetite won’t be ridden until Vampires rule the world. You will be rewarded appropriately. Hurry!
“I will bring you what you need, my lord.” KillPrinsX said.
“As for our conquest. There are more villages and more people. As always. I suggest you work with your fellow Vampires and plan a real takeover to victory.”
With that she got a prompt.
You have been invited to the home page of Lord Lucretius!
Converse with your fellow Vampires.
Plan the demise of the Humans!
She opened the page to find an epic picture of Lord Lucretius. There were tabs for group chats, planning, personal quests and group quests and ongoing battles with the Werewolves and Humans and other Vampire clans.
She bowed once more to her lord and exited.
She went back up to find Else wandering around, apparently training, karate chopping barrels and throwing things half way across the village.
“What’s gotten you all riled up?” KillPrinsX asked.
“Nothing! I’ve only been waiting for your slow ass to comfortably finish your quest.”
KillPrinsX stood there looking quite taken aback. “What do…”
“Don’t just stand there. Come! They’re starting a battle with the Werewolves! We still have time.”
Else flashed off into the trees, KillPrinsX followed suit and ran after her.
She had a much easier time keeping up, but Else still had a good lead, and a lot more Stamina.
After a good twenty minutes she heard the battle. It wasn’t like anything had had thought of before. First she heard screaming and yelling, accompanied by growls and barks. Then there were gunshots, swords clashing against armor and shields, some finding purchase inside a rib cage.
She walked to the outskirts the fray, Else was already going one-on-one with a Werewolf. Many other were still going, some were out cold, Werewolves…Vampires.
She hardly stood there for a couple of seconds before a bullet wizzed by her head.
She dodged and hid behind a tree. Worried about Charlotte getting caught up in all this, she told her, “Stay safe and attack when you can. I’ll stay here and figure out what to do.”
KillPrinsX didn’t just sit there and cower. She cast Buffs, put 100 MP into her shield and headed in.
She found the closest Werewolf, preoccupied with another Vampire, and jumped in with a Bite, coupling it with Bloodsucker. It did some good damage. But the Werewolf had some of his own powers. She was thrown off abruptly and the Werewolf was standing on her, pummeling her with its claws.
She took a few hits and tried to find something that might save her. Last time she was in this situation was with Imps… Phoenix Skin!
She cast the Buff. The Werewolf hardly noticed at first, but after a few seconds, and a few facial scratches, the Werewolf had jumped off and started screaming, running around in circles.
She cast a Fireball, sending it right into the Werewolf’s path, and he took the hit. She followed up with another Bite and Bloodsucker combo, and the Werewolf was down and out.
A few of the Vampires spoke on the group chat, the friendliest one was, “Watch it you idiot! No fire is friendly fire! We’re Vampires.”
She even had few Vampires run up and check who she was. They dashed away after a quick look.
KillPrinsX found herself, again, doing nothing but looking at prompts of the kill she had… until a Werewolf charged her and brought her back into the fight. She evaded it easily, almost curious how easily it had been to use Psychic Evade again. But, boy, was that close.
She did another as he swung around and came to attack close quarters. They stood face to face for a mere second until she cast Confuse and jumped in with the Bite and Bloodsucker combo. There was another Werewolf nearby and she jumped to that one, then a third and back to the first.
She was expecting them to be falling down and succumbing to her bite, but they didn’t. They must have a natural resistance to some Vampiric attacks.
But they didn’t have a resistance to… Neurotoxin!
She cast a drop in her mouth and jumped to the next Werewolf, back to second, then the third.
At his point it was three against one. She had caught The attention of others, attacking faster than they could do anything about. More started coming.
The tale has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.
But now that she used Neurotoxin, one was down, and a kill notification would come soon.
She did another combo of three, trying to cast Neurotoxin, Bite and Bloodsucker nearly simultaneously.
If anything, they would all be paralyzed. But if she aimed her Bites properly, targeting major arteries, the Neurotoxin would be flowing through their whole body in a matter of seconds. Asphyxia and default coming shortly after.
She managed another 3x Combo with The Neurotoxin. The Werewolves were dropping like flies.
Now the count had turned drastically and Vampires were teaming up with the few remaining Werewolves.
Charlotte had already made two kills, and the gun shots had stopped. She looked over to the edge of the clearing to find her beautiful arboreal spider scuttling along and back up into the trees.
She didn’t bother with helping out in any fights where she wasn’t needed, so she returned to the few she had just poisoned to get some health back.
You have drank the blood of a Werewolf.
Health restored by 50 HP.
Werewolves are the Vampire’s natural enemy. Having fulfilled this innate purpose you have gained a Manic Passive buff.
+5 Strength for 10 minutes.
She quickly went over to the next and did the same.
+10 Strength for 10 minutes.
Then the next and the next.
+30 Strength for 10 minutes.
She was ecstatic… the Buffs stacked!
And now, rightfully full of herself, she joined the fray once more.
She found pairs of Vampires attacking the last few Werewolves. Obviously the last were the strongest. But she felt she could handle them, one at a time.
She charged straight into one of the battles and gave the Werewolf a good uppercut.
The Werewolf hardly budged. He picked her up with both paws.
This wasn’t turning out as planned…
She struggled and kicked. Her arms flailed, failing to do any damage. Her legs wouldn’t make purchase, his arms were too long.
It was a matter of seconds before her head would be ripped off.
Oosahh… she had another trick up her sleeve…
She focused her attention, getting ready… breathe… she punched the Werewolf straight in the snout!
The Werewolf stopped motionless and went cross eyed! He dropped her, swayed back and lay paralyzed on the ground.
Thank you Pressure Points!
The other Vampires had stood and watched, not expecting a small girl to run up and do something so foolish, but as soon as the Werewolf hit the ground they jumped into action and finished him.
There were still a few more Werewolves to go. But as the tides turned, the side liners had either transformed or had run, meaning no stray bullets were flying around.
She ran up to the next group, now about ten against one, and merely watched as the Vampires finalized the Werewolves.
The last one down, defaulted, and a final bell had rung through the trees.

She looked around and saw some of her fellow Vampires celebrating, but most of them were going around and looting.
Wait! This should be a great opportunity. Looting actual Players!
She went over to the few that she had killed, no one having touched them yet. It seemed to be a rule that you loot your own kills before it’s up for anyone’s grabs.
She looted all of those she killed, plus Charlotte’s.

Well, the turn out was alright. She’s now well on her way to becoming one of those players that has way too much in their inventory and has to drop loot, or slow walk back to a village to sell it all. She’s not much of a hoarding type, and gold doesn’t seem to be a problem, yet, though some of those things in GEM were a bit above her pay grade, then again that was way back at level 10, now quite a few levels higher, a few quests later… another look at that shop might change a few things.
But for now, we’re in a forest full of Vampires… time to regroup…
Else came over, “Well done ace. Whatever you did got you a good number kills. What’d you do?”
That made her question what Else did, probably just go in and try the basic Vampire skills, the ones that the Werewolves have an immunity to and are expecting.
“So? How’d you get nine kills all in the last five minutes? Unless you just stole the kill seven times in a row…”
“No, I don’t think they were all that worn down. But…” No, she’s getting into secret stuff… “I used a few other spells. You saw that Fireball?”
“Oh! That’s how you did it. Smart move. It’s always useful having other skills. Like those Werewolf Tanks, they’re awful. Always the first to get hit and the last ones standing.”
KillPrinsX gave a little laugh. “Yeah, classed players…”
“Well, we’re all done here,” Else said. “Time to head back and plan for tomorrow. There’s a whole lot I’ve missed while I was getting you ready.”
They comfortably walked back to Lucretius village in a group, meeting the other surviving Vampires from Lucretius village. The other Vampires from the fight went back to their own villages, being from different clans.
When Else was being all anxious about getting to this fight, she wasn’t kidding about it. It was one of the biggest Vampire-vs-Werewolf fights in a while, with clans teaming up and taking it seriously. Hooray for the victory!
And now that they had some time together as a village, they went over future plans, some in the very distant future and some scheduled for tomorrow.
She learned their roles for team fights, who’s the fighter and who’s the support. KillPrinsX didn’t have any support type spells, unless you count a few Buffs, so she became a fighter, berserker to be exact. They picked her for her high count of fast kills. She really wasn’t so sure about it, but when she thought about how fast she could actually dispatch someone, especially with Neurotoxin, she figured that she might be able to hold up her name as a berserker for quite a while. Then again, it’s fight for your life or default.
Of course the farther reaching plans are how to break into the Elves’s kingdom and take their royalty; unlocking the secrets of angel blood, and demon blood, as those quests aren’t for the faint hearted… or not, Vampires don’t have hearts.
But tomorrow they’ll go out and challenge a few Trolls and Giants, planning how to go about it, taking Giant’s blood before the Trolls, or visa versa.
But, it was to be decided in the morning. They had made it back and sunrise was in just a few minutes.
KillPrinsX stayed awake and outside, waiting for the sun to come up… just for the experience. She held a health potion in one hand and the other hand holding her hood, just in case…
The sunrise came. A few rays of light peaked over the trees illuminating the forest in yellow and gold.
All KillPrinsX saw was a blinding light, she had to shut her eyes, a few more seconds, everything was blurred, too bright to see anything, then a few more seconds and her HP started to tick down, her face feeling like a hot iron was being pushed up against it.
She put her hood up, but she still had one more thing to try, just for the sake of science.
She cast Summon Mist, and watched the fog rise into the air, she cast it again and again. Five times and she stopped feeling the hot iron sensation. But she still couldn’t see anything. It was all so white and painful to the eyes.
Experimentation done, she turned and snuck back into her cottage with Else as fast as she could.
“Holy shit!” Else had jumped as the sunlight came in and nearly dropped what she was doing. “What’d you do that for? You trying to kill me… and yourself?”
“No! Just a little science. I wanted to see what would actually happen if I stood out in the sun.”
“You could have asked. And all I would have said is that you’d have killed yourself!” Else yelled.
“You nearly killed me three times in the last few days.”
“What! How?” Else had to think about what she meant, or maybe try to cover something up… “That’s called endurance training.”
“Exactly, this was Endurance training/science.”
“In the sun? You’re a Vampire…”
“Exactly. I wanted to see what would actually happen. I had a health potion ready, hood ready, and then, I summoned a mist to see what it would do.”
Else stood there like she was looking at an idiot. “So, what did happen?”
“The HP stopped dropping, but I still couldn’t see anything.”
“Good to know. I’ll stay out of the sun. Like I was, as always.”
