Now in a nice and quiet space, she looked through her options again, finding that the eye cream and the jumpsuit would probably be the best option.

Trying on the jumpsuit, she found that it fit perfectly, as all suits do in games. And it had the Athena Clothing brand logo sewn into the right side of the chest, and a large grey watermark on the back as soon as she put it on. That also meant that’d she’d get some discounts!
Otherwise, fitting her personality? And class? Not so much. But beggars can’t be choosers, as she’s now learned the hard way. It was odd to be a Mage/Psychic Vampire while wearing a skin tight black ninja suit, but, what the hell. It’ll be a surprise to everyone.
She rang it up and put in two bottles of eye cream.
The damage was 7,600 gold, even with the discount. Honestly it wasn’t too bad, looking at how much gold she had gotten from being out in the forest. It makes a difference when you’re not a level 10 dweeb with hardly any gold.
She quickly put it on, rubbed on some eye cream, and looked at herself… it’s just missing the right headgear.
“Do you have any sunglasses?” She asked the shopkeeper. Her sporty aviators didn’t quite do the trick with this get up.
He pointed over to the rack that held sunglasses. Right behind it was a shelf full of goggles and other headgear… she went through and tried on a handful. Sports glasses, no. Shooting glasses, no. Goggles, almost. Wrap around, getting there… actually those aren’t too bad, and they get the all around view and safety from the sun.
She added those silver wraparound sunglasses, that nearly looked like a visor, to the shopping cart.
The shopkeeper smiled and asked, “Anything else you’d like?” He smiled a toothy grin that only showed that he was happy to receive the gold. But this was the place to get almost anything but legendary or mythic items… she actually had one more thing to get.
She pulled out the softball sized glowing green jewel and laid it on the table. “I need to fix this and put it on a staff.”
“Ho ho! What do we have here?”
She had pulled out The Essence of the Isle of Sharaz, it was definitely something. None of the items inside GEM shone like it, none had nearly as much energy coming off of it.
The shopkeeper examined it, “I’ll take it for 20,000 gold.”
“I thought you don’t keep legendary and epic items.”
The narrative has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.
He coughed and twisted in his chair. “There’s… well, if you ask…”
She would ask, but later. “I need to put it on a staff,” she repeated.
“Fine,” he said, reluctantly pulling his eyes off of it and pointing her over to the build-a-staff wall. “Pick out a staff and I’ll attach it for you.”
She found the staves and went through them, firstly looking for what would suit her best… a Psychic Vampire Dressed in a Ninja’s outfit and sporting a wizard’s staff, she could pick nearly anything!
Wooden, maybe. Plastic, hmm no. Metal, possibly. There were so many, the shelves turned so that they showed a new bunch of five, but as she kept turning and turning she found that the stock was endless. She wondered how they all fit in there and remembered that she was in a game.
She went through a round of sci-fi looking staffs; metal, fiberglass, plastic. They looked quite cool, of course, but none seemed to really catch the eye more than any other. She stopped going for looks and started to check out the stats.
She finally found one that would be best for elemental magic, which wasn’t hard to find. But she had no idea what kind of magic this glowing crystal was harnessing, so she went to take a good look at it.
The Essence of the Isle of Sharaz
This crystal was once the head of a powerful Wizard’s staff, Sharaz the Lifebringer. Once the king of an island far away and long ago, he brought many to his island to flourish and prosper under his rule, allowing prosperity throughout his land to surge into the mainland. He was loved, often using his powers and magic staff to summon life to crops during the winter, feed the hungry, give warmth to the homeless. Everyone had a chance in his land. Until one day he was assassinated by his own steward. His staff was stolen, his lands grew bare, and prosperity ended, leaving a miserable and dead society to run down the drain.
The further story of the staff and its priceless crystal is a long and tragic story. Those who could wield its power only used it for bad, those who would have use it for good were killed before another truly great empire arose. And since has been sold, traded, or stolen into the hands of those who hold it now.
Power depends on wielder’s own stats, skills and purposes. Though it highly augments Life magic and Summoning skills.
After reading that she was still curious as to what it would bring. But she at least knew that she was free to use whatever staff she liked best.
Now, looking back at the staves, she found a square one of black steel that seemed to fit in with her suit and gave her a good boost to spell casting.
Space Wizard’s Staff of Serious Magic
This staff really has no doubt that you are going to use it, fully and without reservation. Abuse it to its max, and unleash its full potential, until you or your opponent dies.

And the price tag told it all. She didn’t worry about it, her looting had given her plenty, though there were still some spells to buy. 8000 gold was nothing…! Haha.
She took it to the shopkeeper to get the crystal attached properly.
“It’s a 100 gold fee…” he said just before he put it in place.
She waved a hand, not worried about any further dent in her pocket.
The shopkeeper held it in his hands like a baby, “Beautiful… absolutely stunning… I’d love to try it out myself.” He started caressing it with his bare hands. KillPrinsX grabbed it before he set his lips onto it.
“I’ll check out now,” she said quickly.
“Alright. Alright, that’ll be 7,500 for the suit, 100 for the two bottles of eye cream, 100 for the sunglasses, and 8100 for the staff and attachment fee. For a grand total of 15,800 gold!” He smiled and she could have sworn his tooth has given a glimmer in the light.
She sighed and accepted the payment prompt in front of her eyes.
Boy, was that an achievement! All that, and what’s left over is still… 20,857 gold!
She put everything on and stepped in front of the mirror. She saw herself in a skin skin tight ninja suit, wraparound silver sunglasses, and holding a black staff with a green glowing ball on top.
It came out alright, she told herself. She’ll definitely be up on billboards as the next crazy Mage… if only she wins.
She smiled, feeling a virtual cling in her pocket as she stepped out into the sun.
She could see! No blinding bright light, no sun damage! The only thing is that she just has to keep it on at all times. At least it’s comfortable.
