Garlin got out of the way.
Of the monster I was riding.
The scorpion tailed one was able to get its stinger into his left hip.
I jumped off the monster I was riding and got in between Garling and the pouncing feline. I twisted my sword in my hand and slapped the flat of the blade against the monster's nose as I ducked under its claws.
The monster screamed as it folded and rolled over the Anubis. I tried to think about what to do next as I looked at the broken man who wasn’t going to be able to dodge another attack.
I reached into my CB and took out another health potion and threw it at Garlin’s chest. The bottle broke, soaking him in the healing fluid. It wasn’t going to do anything about the poison, but it would heal the broken bones that he’d just earned.
I started backing up towards the middle of the room as both monsters focused their attention on me. The hairy one moved first, spitting out globes of water as it slid towards me.I couldn’t go to my left without putting Garlin in between myself and the water monster and I couldn’t move to my right without putting the scorpion feline on the other side of him. Which meant I had to move towards the middle of the room.
The scorpion one was pawing the ground, so I took off as fast as I could.
“INCOMING!”
Tera was only tanking the spiked one at the moment, but froze as he turned to see the two monsters barreling towards him. He didn’t move as the spiked one shoulder checked him, drawing that earsplitting scraping noise again.
I moved to the north, so I didn’t take the monsters towards the other group that was fighting the flying monster. They had one of its wings off, so it was staying on the ground and wouldn’t be long before they were finished with it.

Tera shook off his shock and the tan armored Tank moved north as well and roared, drawing the attention of both of the new monsters.
They hit him one after the other, but he had all three of them in front of him, so he was able to take the hits without getting knocked over.
The flying one vanished as I started to move towards the other group and the cactus feline’s eyes turned yellow as the mop one’s eyes changed to green. I pivoted and slashed at the hairy one, knocking it over as I cut deep into its side. The sliding monster diverted sideways and crashed into the spiked one, sending both monsters tumbling.
Haley was charging at the rolling mass of monsters and the green woman was covered in so many different colors that it looked like a bunch of paint cans had been dumped on her. She hit the long-haired boss in the head with her ax, then slapped the spined one across the face with the flat of it.
As the two monsters struggled to untangle themselves, two daggers lodged into the hairy one’s green eyes. The boss reared up and roared, but that exposed its belly, which Gall created a spike under. When the monster came back down it impaled itself on the spike, vanishing into smoke.
The spiked monster’s eyes turned green and I knew that the scorpion one’s were yellow without having to look at it. I charged at the cactus monster and cut into its shoulder as the others joined in.
Tera was moving the scorpion one away from everyone, but after a few more attacks, I was able to stab the cactus monster in the heart, reducing it to dust. We turned to the last monster and everyone seemed to have more energy, invigorated at the prospect of getting the last kill bonus. I backed away from the frenzy as Sipher cut off the monster’s tail. It didn’t take long once the monster lost its main weapon before it vanished as well under Sipher’s blade.
My CB dinged to let me know that I’d received an item. When I looked at it, I saw that there were two.
Lv 50 Stamina Potion
Lv 50 Felion Leather Gloves
Defense + 36
Speed + 32
They would be okay gloves once I reached level fifty and a stamina potion was always usable when farming. But again, I’d have to wait until I was level fifty to use it, or it’d make me very sick.
I saw Lace on his knees next to one of the fallen Adventurers. I turned to Nyssa, whose armor looked like she had taken a few hits. “Who’d we lose?’
