Urvashi felt a knot tighten in his stomach as he realized the implications of Gom’s death. If only he had reported Olin stealing from Gom sooner—maybe Gom would still be alive. The thought gnawed at him, a relentless reminder of his failure.

They weren't exactly close or someone he would call a friend but he still was fond of him.

"His name was Gom. He hired me to investigate who stole his merchandise." I said with great difficulty.

"And you think the ones who stole his merchandise also killed him?" Taele asked.

"Yes he offered me a hefty sum to find it, i imagine it must have been something very important. Enough to kill over." I replied.

After thinking for a moment Taele said

"It doesn't necessarily mean that the thieves killed him, it might have been someone who knew the value of the items.

But i think it's a good direction to look into.

Who do you think stole it?"

"Olin." I answered.

Taele didn't answer immediately seemingly lost in thought. After a while he asked

"Are you sure?".

"I've asked around, apparently Olin obtained something big, big enough to scare other mob leaders." I replied.

"And you didn't report this, why?" Taele asked his voice carrying a hint of irritation.

"I was planning to." I replied.

Taele looked at me for a few moments and said "If you had then perhaps Gom would still be alive now".

Having said that he started walking away but before he could i add a few words of my own "If you caught a known mob leader you could have prevented many more deaths like this one.".

He stopped turned back and looked at me,

his gaze carrying a hint of sadness but he didn't say anything.

After a while he said "Perhaps" and walked away.

He obviously knows that i'm aware of the existence of powers so is him not mentioning anything benefital for me or him? I take it he must be aware as he's an Enforcer after all. No matter, i'll be in a lot of trouble if Olin was to find out that i'm investigating this. I can't go after him, if he was able to do this in broad daylight who knows what might happen if i go at him alone. Now would be a good time to recieve my 5th Rank abilities, well even if i did get them at this exact moment i couldn't really do anything...probably.

If i was to work with the Enforcers, if they even allowed me to, i do think we could apperhand him but i wouldn't be able to take that item for myself. And if i go at him alone i'm sure to fail.

Urvashi of course didn't want to profit off of Gom's death but he would rather take the items for himself rather than someone else having them.

Hmmm

'What to do? What to do?'

They will proably send their own people with powers and even if i was to awaken i wouldn't be able to steal it from under their noses.

But who says i have to steal it?

On an empty street late into the night two people were standing guard at a door leading to a cafee, they were speaking, trying not to be heard so their boss wouldn't know they were slacking off on the job. The cafee was unusaly large it had 3 floors and it was at least 30 meters wide, it was made out of stone and was without windows. On the top of the door there was a sign welcoming potential visitors.

And standing between the guards was a figure wearing a long black coat seemingly unnoticed by the two guards. It signaled with it's arm as if it was saying to wait, after a few moments of waiting the figure knocked one guard out and before the second could react he too got put to sleep.

Seeing this a group of people rushed at the building from all sides, what dissapointed them was that there were no windows they could go through but there were other ways to make holes in a building. One of the men for example simply punched through the wall and tore it apart while simultaneous explosions went off from other sides of the building.

The man who puched and tore the wall down upon entering the 2nd floor immediately started attacking people across from him, the people accross from him playing cards with guns at their side but before they could even grab their weapons or realize what was happening they got knocked down.

From all across the building sounds of fighting were heard, lightning tore through the floor explosions went off and gunshots sounded off. The sounds went out quickly and it was an utter win by Blade agents, but they had yet to capture the 'King'.

The 'King' in question was of course Olin, and Olin was already fighting against two Blades. Just as it looked like he had the upperhand 4 more Blades entered the room, Olin was taken aback and filled with despair but only for a moment. He took out a seemingly normal notebook and all of the Blades got alarmed the second they saw this. Just as he opened the notebook a bolt of lightning shot him through his chest and a blade appeared out of thin air as if to slice his head off, which it did. Olin was dead and the notebook remained open.

His entire orginazation was dead aswell, Blade agents were careful as not to destroy the items but still more than half of them were destroyed as collateral.

But the most desired item stood right in front of them on its page was a card depicting a clown, the clown wore a white shirt along with a long brown coat and torn up black pants, his left hand stretched out to the sky while his right arm was missing, in it's place stood a golden sword.

After looting what little remained the Blade agents went out of the building onto the street, the battle that happened inside wasn't heard by a living soul outside the building because of an item that was used.

So to the Blades shock a man was waiting for them outside. They suddenly felt an overwhelming sense of fear upon looking at him making them want to kneel, but before they could the man spoke to them in a language that was beyond their understanding but somehow they could compherhand every last word. He requested them to give up the item which they instantly did, the item obviously being the notebook, and just as he picked the item up he vanished into thin air.

The Blades sighed out of relief only then realizing what they had done in their moments of fear.

One of them was particulary angry as he said "How are we going to report this to the Boss?".

To which the others had no answer.
