Seeing the bullet floating mid-air Urvashi was hit with a painfully obvious realization, which was that he was in a place where time was stuck and unlike him who had Termian's authority over time keeping him moving --- his bullet did not.
He frowned while looking at the bullet for a quick moment before placing his gaze on the monster.
Its appearance did not undergo any changes, it didn't even react to Urvashi firing his gun.
The monster kept facing him its hourglass pink body without reacting in any way, it most likely didn't understand that the man facing it just now tried to kill it.
Which only served in Urvashi's favor.
Eventually, after a few moments it titled its head sideways and started walking towards Urvashi but was abruptly stopped by the window.
After slamming into it, the monster raised its hand and started touching the mirror, it couldn't understand why it couldn't pass but after a short while it came to the conclusion that this wasn't the way to go.
It started walking towards the direction of the entrance of this house, seeing this Urvashi bit his lower lip and started looking around the room for something --- anything he could use to fight against it.
Out of the periphery of his vision he saw a knife placed on a table, which he gladly set out to pick up.
Taking a step away from the floating bullet Urvashi took a glance at the door before reaching the knife, and he as of now didn't see the monster.
Picking up the silver knife he looked towards the door again and once again didn't catch a glimpse of the monster.
Taking a quick look around once again to see if there was any other item he could make use of, he saw another knife stuck in the floor which he gladly took.
Now holding a knife in each hand he looked once again at the door and this time he saw the monster standing at the door, unable to enter due to its height.
Noticing this Urvashi hoped that the monster would give up and turn away, but instead it just crouched down.
While it was busy fitting through the door, Urvashi glanced at the young man standing across from him and after a moment's hesitation stood behind him.
He was planning to use the young man's body as a sort of shield, of course he couldn't pick him up but he could still use him as bait.
It wasn't like he was really alive anyway, right?
Considering his circumstances, and the fact that he was stuck in time for who knows how long without any hope of escaping it really, was he really alive?
Not like Urvashi had any time to think about that now.
Just as he put the man in between himself and the monster, it started walking through the hallway.
Albeit with its head lowered, but this could server to his advantage.
Each step it took the floor shook lightly, now it was about a step or two away from Urvashi.
It depends really, if you count reaching him with its head or not.
Urvashi was prepared to stab its head and kill it at any moment, meanwhile the monster was practicaly drooling at the scent of food.
Or maybe Urvashi specifically, since he was after all Termian's vessel.
Thinking about that Urvashi's face lit up all of a sudden, if he indeed was seen as Termian through the eyes of monsters could he order them around, or would they be scared to fight him.
Thinking of how he could use this to his advantage, the monster meanwhile opened its big mouth and tried to take a bite of his hand which was hiden at the young mans side and ready to stab the monster.
Urvashi's face visibly cringed as he took his hand back, the monster bit with great speed and if he was any slower he'd be missing a hand right about now.

This meant that not only was his theory incorect but instead it targeted him specifiacally, but he had no time to waste thinking about unimportant things.
The monster was still moving towards him, it pushed the young man out of the way and started going towards Urvashi who was falling due to his momentum.
And while it did so Urvashi sensed a trickle of spirituality for that simpleminded movement.
The young man despite being frozen could still be moved with spirituality, how could he have overlooked this.
There was definetly a way to use this to his advantage, he just didn't know how --- yet.
Falling backwards and sticking his landing, Urvashi proped himself up to his feet quickly. The monster meanwhile continued to lunge at him with its head nearly in front of his body.
Thinking quickly Urvashi used the knife in his, dominant, right hand and stabbed it in its head. The monster barely even flinched, but it was enough to throw it off course.
It landed about a meter or two besides him and made a big crash causing the house to nearly be toppled down.
Urvashi's eyes widened, he expected it be strong sure, but this was more than he signed up for.
He didn't even awaken his 5th Rank abilities yet and he had to fight this... this thing.
After crashing the monster looked around only to see its prey backing up, Urvashi's face was twisted in a scowl.
He had lost the knife that he had held in his right rand due to the fact that it was stuck in the monster's head, it uses its thin arms to locate the 'thorn' in its head before ripping it out with the hand.
The knife flew past Urvashi and managed to cut his left cheek, causing it to draw blood.
After backing away a few steps Urvashi looked at the monster only to find it tasting his blood, and although you couldn't really study its expression you could tell it was delighted.
This caused a shiver to run down his back and his shoulders to fall down, his grip on his one remaining knife weakened siginificantly causing it to almost fall from his hand.
While it was still busy eating Urvashi looked for the young man to see him lying down on the ground, he took one glance back at the monster before breaking out in a sprint towards the man.
Coincendantaly he was in the way to reach the entrance, so Urvashi specificaly viewed this opportunity as heavensent.
After he started running the monster broke out from its dazed state and started chasing after him, why would it settle only for blood when it could have the whole thing.
Step after step Urvashi reached the young man with the monster lunging at him, he placed his hand on the young man's back.
He tried to focus all the spirituality he had to potentially leave a mark on the young man.
With the monster lunging at him he only had one try at most, and use it he did.
He managed to pour out about 60% of his stored spirituality, but still with his low output of about 1% he managed to only place a little 'mark'.
As he did so he saw something that made his entire being tremble, he saw the young man's eyes regain their lucidity.
Pretending not to notice anything he kept running, and as expected the monster stopped at the young man's location.
It seemed to be contemplatong whether to keep chasing Urvashi or eat this one --- who carried a faint trace of what it wanted.
And while Urvashi was running he heard inhuman chewing sounds coming from the direction of the house.
"I'm sorry" Covering his ears with his hands he whispered those words over and over again until the sounds stopped.
