After chatting for a while with Mr. Alodia, I eventually went home. One thing I found odd about Mr. Alodia was his complete disinterest in topics outside of Termol for whatever reason.
Mr. Alodia mentioned that carrying the Fool's Gambit all by itself is dangerous since no matter what state it's in the negative effects are dangerous, for example the one depicting the clown slows down my thoughts when it isn't infused with spirituality, so i carry it in that special notebook.
The notebook is called Sealscript Journal.
It looks like any oridnary book and it's cover is black.
I redesigned the book a little and added some drawings on the front cover so it wouldn't be easily discovered.
And the notebook is small enough to be held in one hand so i carry it in the front pocket of my coat.
What's intresting is that the book isn't much bigger than the card but it still fits in a page.
Sealscript Journal turns items it stores small so they can fit into a page.
Quite useful, huh?
Anyway i mentioned that dream i had, the one with Annika, to Alodia and he found it quite intresting.
He didn't know anything about Annika and whether she's alive or not.
But he did say that he didn't expect Termian to act like that.
He said that his reputation was basically second to no one.
While on the way home i encouter Taele Black, that Enforcer who was investigating Mr. Gom's death, all of a sudden he starts walking towards me.
Wh--?
Have i been found out?
But before i could decide whether i should run or not he greets me.
"Detective Sauvageon, You were right. Olin was the one who killed that old man and stole his merchandise." Taele said.
And before Urvashi could reply he threw him a coin.
"That is the reward from the Enforcers, if you ever wanna work together on a case or become an offical Enforcer look for me."
Taele said as he handed him a card.
On the card Teale's address was written.
Which took Urvashi by suprise, he even felt embarrassed.
"Sure, why not? You also know where to find me." Urvashi replied.
Taele nodded seemingly satisfied.
"Oh and one more thing." Taele said
Before i could reply he continued.
If you stumble upon this narrative on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen from Royal Road. Please report it.
"Let's go somewhere where our conversation won't be heard. Your apartment for example."
He wants to tell me something in secret?
What could he want to tell me?
Or are there Blade agents waiting in ambush?
No, they can't possibly know that i have Fool's Gambit.
"Follow me." I replied with hesitation.

After getting seated in Urvashi's apartment Taele looked around the small living room, his gaze falling on the desk filled with countless papers.
After Urvashi closed his windows and dropped down the curtains he asked Taele in a restrained voice.
"What do you want to talk about?"
Taele's gaze went from the papers on the desk to Urvashi, he looked him up and said.
"There's a case that i'm working on that i'd like for you to take a look at. The information is confidential of course so i'm going to need your word you won't go around talking about it."
"Oh and if you help me solve it i'll compensate you of course." Taele added.
After hearing what he had to say Urvashi looked directly at Taele, this was quite diffrent from what he had expected but it was not unwelcome.
"Yeah? When did it happen?" Urvashi asked after a while.
"I'll take that as a yes. It happend 2 days ago, a woman was found dead just a few dozen minutes away from your place.
She was the last of the bunch, to be precise there were at least half a dozen victims."
Taele paused before speaking again.
He looked at Urvashi seemingly contemplating whether he should continue or not.
"I take it you're aware of powers." Taele said after a while, obviously not being comfortable talking about this matter.
In response Urvashi simply nodded.
Taele heaved a sigh of relief before continuing.
"We have come to believe that they were killed by supernatural means, they all died with the same disturbing symptoms pale skin, dark veins and a bizarre metallic smell lingering in the air."
Having said that he once again looked Urvashi up and down, seemingly analyzing him, before asking.
"So do you have powers yourself?"
After thinking for a while Urvashi denied having powers himself.
"What are people with powers called?" Urvashi asked.
"Rankbearers" Taele simply replied.
