And how long ago was this memory of his? From what i understand awakening was common knowlegde back then and the Kingdom even helped people awaken, so why is it kept a secret now?

No point in pondering these questions the Sun is already up i should get prepared to continue my investigations.

I have yet to make up my mind regarding what i should do with the case Mr. Gom assigned me, it could be troublesome to go after them all by myself but maybe i could ask Mr. Alodia for help.

No i don't want to bother him with something that i can handle all by myself and besides we just met.

I don't have concrete evidence that Olin stole that merchandise just some infromation i gathered from asking around.

Maybe i should wait a few days for my 5th Rank abilites to develop and then try. No they probably also have some awakened people, wait what are people with powers called...hmm i'll have to ask Mr. Alodia.

On the bustling streets of Nast filled with all kinds of people doing who knows what a sudden scream was heard, it lasted only for a second, not even a second really, but the people of the city were used to hearing screams from time to time. But what was diffrent than the usual jesting screams this time an eruption of screams began all sounding horiffied.

The scream was close to where Urvashi lives maybe a few hundred meters away. People started running away from that direction at a breakneck pace, the entire street full of people trying to get away from something or someone. Enforcers started running towards the scene at an even faster pace and when they arrived all they could see was a body mangled so badly that it could only be described as a work of a wild beast.

The body was missing its entire lower body and left arm, the right arm had bones piercing out of it and its face....its face missing a whole half with one eye opened wide in shock.

The Enforcers couldn't hope to catch the killer, after all for all they know he could have left with the crowd of people that escaped.

A middle aged man with brown hair and blue eyes was looking at the body for a few minutes trying to atleast find out the name of the victim, but to no avail. He was entirely sure that this was a case involving powers, that the person who killed this poor man used supernatural means.

He himself had yet to receive permission from the higher-ups to awaken, of course he knew about the existence of powers as an Enforcer of law that was expected. If he was to awaken he would get promoted and start working as a Blade, that was how official awakened of the Termol Kingdom were related as.

He saw a tall man dressed in detective's attire approaching him, his hair not entirely visible due to the fact that he was wearing a short top hat but it's color was obviously black and his face cleanly shaven he also had dark brown nearly black eyes.

Of course it was Urvashi Sauvageon.

The man standing across him was a private investigator, albeit not a popular one, Taele knew who he was of course. As an Enforcer he worked toghter with private detectives from time to time and Urvashi while not being popular was quite sharp and devoted to his work or so he thought.

Other Enforcers who were unaware of who the man approaching them was immediately tried to apprehend him, but before they could Taele spoke.

"That's a private detective, let him through."

Upon hearing that other Enforcers let him ago albeit with a bit of wariness. They didn't exactly trust private detectieves and even had bad experiences with them but if Taele thinks that he can be of help they weren't going to interfere.

After greeting Taele, Urvashi went to see the body and found exactly what he expected. It was Gom, the one who hired him to investigate his missing merchandise.

"Do you know who that is?" Taele asked .

"Yes" Urvashi replied and before Taele could ask him if he knew anything Urvashi added "I even think i know who did it. No, actually i'm sure."

Which took Taele by suprise, but it was not an unwelcome suprise.
