BANG! BANG! BANG!

Before the figure even started firing Urvashi threw himself to the side.

The three bullets, for the most part, rushed past him, though one of them managed to graze his face.

Reacting quickly he took out his own gun and started firing back.

Two bullets started flying towards the figure, one of them grazed the figure's arm while the other missed completely.

The figure screamed out in pain, suprisingly the scream was more on the feminine side.

'Could the shooter be a woman?'

Having thought of that Urvashi hesitated pulling the trigger one last time and killing the wounded shooter.

'No but does it even matter if she is a woman? She tried to kill me first after all.'

While Urvashi was contemplating the shooter took off the strawhat, and it indeed was a girl that shot at him.

Her golden hair cascaded in soft waves around her face, framing her striking features. Her eyes, starngely enough, were golden, their depth matched only by the dark gold of her arched eyebrows and the high curve of her cheekbones.

"Wait, wait it was an accident!"

"An accident?" Urvashi blurted out shocked.

"Are you out of your mind? You could have killed me just now!" He continued.

Her expression becoming one of embarrassment, her gaze wandering off to the side before eventually settling on him.

"Look. I thought you were someone else, you look... no you actually don't look similar at all i don't know what got over me."

'Is she an idiot?'

Not knowing what to say Urvashi just stood there dumbfounded.

Mistaking his lack of answer she continued.

"I'm really sorry, how can i make it up to you?" She said with a trembling voice.

After a while and in the middle of intense silence Urvashi put his gun down and walked away before giving her one final look.

She was quite pretty now that he thought about it, still he was not sure if she was right in the head.

"The Enforcers are probably coming soon you should get out of here as well."

Just as he turned around Urvashi the female shooter started speaking.

"What? Aren't you atleast going to help me get out of here before the Enforcers arrive, there's no way i can outrun them in this state. Especially after you just stood there for minutes and wasted precious time!"

"Oh so i'm the one at fault now? Maybe you should have thought about that before trying to kill me."

'Still she was right there's 0 chance she gets away from them in this state.'

Just as she was about to open her mouth and continue arguing some more Urvashi grabbed her and started running as fast as he could.

"H-Hey just what do you think you're doing?" She roared angrily.

"What do you think?"

"I just knew you weren't such a bad guy after all." She said after a while

To which Urvashi could only scoff.

After a while he stopped running and put her down.

They were at quite a distance from their original spot and since people didn't really live there anyway he could run in the open and not worry about being seen.

He hadn't spoken a word to her all this way.

They were atleast a few kilometers away from where they had been.

He wasn't sure what he was going to do to her.

Was he just going to leave her here without helping anymore than this? He probably wouldn't hear the end of it from her.

Still he had some experience at treating wounds so it wasn't all bad.

"Give me your arm."

She was reluctant to but eventualy did.

The bullet hole wasn't too deep, he could help by bandaging it up and disinfecting it.

After doing so he took care of the wound on his face, it was a simple cut so didn't have too much work.

"Thank you." She whispered

"It's nothing."

"But still i have to ask, who was the person you wanted to shoot?"

She scoffed

"It's not like i want to shoot anyone, just that i thought he would shoot me instead. I

apparently pissed off a mob boss and he was quite notorious for doing his work himself."

"Who would have thought that you would piss someone off. I'm just shocked you weren't shot earlier."

"Yeah well thank you very much."

"I'm sorry i didn't mean it like that."

"I'll forgive it just this once considering you hepled me and all."

She burst out laughing

"Now now that's very rude to say to a lady, but i still need help. You are down to help right?"

'Has this woman no shame?'

After thinking for a little while Urvashi asked.

"What's your name?"

"Sharron. Sharron Montes"
