After reviewing the information gathered on the victims with Taele for a while and exchanging some ideas about what the ability allowing the Rankbearer to kill all those people was they came to a preliminary conclusion that it had something to do with injecting venom by touch, apart from all those symptoms there was always a print on the victim somewhere usualy close to the heart.
The print was faint but resembled a purple patch no larger than a grain of rice. Still it was a way forward.
Before Taele left he agreed to meet up with Urvashi every night at 20:00 as a way to exchange new ideas and clues with each other, apart from tonight since they already met up today.
Urvashi had yet to develop his 5th Rank abilities so the most he could do today was learn how to effectively channel spirituality through his body, to a degree of course, so he would be able to use Fool's Gambit.
His mastery over channeling spirituality was very crude and ineffective, at most he could use all of his spirituality and only be able to channel about 1% output.
The way spirituality worked was that every human possessed a storage of spirituality within their soul and Rankbearers through stimulating their spirituality could access that storage.
And they could use their spirituality to enhance their bodies, punches, abilities and relics.
And depending on how high their output was their enhancements and mastery over abilities and relics would be greater.
At first they could only have an output in the range as low as 0.1% and range as high as 5%, 5% presenting the absolute best talent humanity could offer.
Spirituality, of course, is replenished after every usage through the passage of time.
Naturally people possessing higher output would be able to replenish it faster.
Of course there are some other means to replenish spirituality but this was effectively the most used and common one.
And if all the spirituality contained within the soul was used up that person's soul would most likely collapse on itself killing them instantly.
And with Fool's Gambit being such a special relic it obviously needed a great mastery over one's own spirituality to be wielded.
As of right now Urvashi could switch states with little to no problem but using the abilities was another matter entirely.
So as things stand right now he would probably die if he was to use an ability from Fool's Gambit, even the defensive one!

For now Urvashi could only increase his output little by little. In a sense increasing output was same as training muscles.
The more he exhausted his spirituality his storage would grow and the more he understood how to channel spirituality the higher his output would be.
He wouldn't be able to increase his spirituality just by watching Termian's memories, because no matter how much he watches them he can't truly understand it, at most he can get some ideas and that's all.
Still he at least had some experience of having near perfect output so he would know what to strive for, which of course came from Termian's battle memories.
As on right now Urvashi only thought about of a few ways he could train his spirituality.
Of course they were all confirmed with Alodia beforehand.
Most, if not all, of Urvashi's knowledge of spirituality stems directly from Alodia.
The way he would train is after finishing his tasks for the day he would try to imbue as little spirituality and try to have as much a big output he can on some weak relics.
The fault with this plan was that of course he had no other relics besides Fool's Gambit and Sealscript Journal.
He could for the time being try sealing and unsealing items with the help of the notebook. That would theoretically boost his output, but finding a low level relic was a priority for him now.
And he had to be careful not to put any items near the journal since it's negative effect was that it would from time to time seal some items. Not that unsealing them was a problem for him but it would be troublesome, especially if he lost the book.
Having come with that plan he went out to do some investigation, and hopefully find a relic to buy.
Now with him getting that gold coin from the Enforcers, whose value was that of 50 regular gold coins, he was pretty much set for the next 6 months.
Of course he would much more rather buy a relic for that amount of money, not like he had any idea how much they cost though.
It would be quite ironic spending the money that the Enforcers had awarded him for revealing who stole a relic, a relic which he was now in possession of, to buy a new relic.
As for where he could buy a relic, he was reluctant to depend on Mr. Alodia too much.
As of right now he hadn't shown any ill intention towards him, but it couldn't hurt to be careful.
After walking for a while Urvashi suddenly stopped and looked to his right, there stood a figure.
The figure wearing a strawhat and a long brown coat, but what suprised Urvashi the most was that the figure had pointed a gun at him!
