In a small room of an abandoned apartment with moonlight pouring in through the open windows stood a tall man with dark brown eyes and black hair wearing a long black coat and a figure, laying over on a chair, which wore a black robe along with a strawhat. They were of course Urvashi and Sharron.
"You seriously suck as a detective." Said Sharron while looking in the direction opposite of Urvashi.
Urvashi upon hearing this just scowled and kept quiet. He grabbed a rock from the floor and threw it into the air a few times.
Eventually he walked up to a window and gazed outside, he wasn't looking at anything im particular really --- just thinking.
He had sneaked out of his apartment with Sharron in the middle of the night--as to not draw attention so he could focus on investigating the murder that took place on a street close to him.
Well, now that he thought about it, perhaps it wasn't his smartest moment to wander on streets where a supernatural murderer had already claimed a life just last night--probably in the same hours.
Suddenly a chill ran down his spine and he looked at the buildings around warily, careful not to make any noise or do anything that would draw attention.
But he would have gone crazy if he spent any more time in his apartment doing nothing.
He was currently in an abandoned building that was not too far away from him, perhaps a few dozen minutes. As a way to both overlook the city since he was on the highest floor and to rest mostly.
He had gained nothing while investigating tonight, well it was to be expected considering the Enforcers had already swooped the crime scene.
Still he had hoped that maybe they missed a clue or two, but to no avail.
And in the meantime they published the wanted poster of the killer.
"Mr. Detective are you just going to keep staring out of that window or are we going to continue looking for anything." Sharron said as she stood up from the chair.
Urvashi stopped throwing the rock up and down into the air and held it in his palm, he turned towards Sharron and began speaking with a neutral expression.
"What do you want us to do that we already haven't?"
Sharron just looked at him with her golden eyes and said with an slightly smug expression.
"You're the detective, aren't you?"
Urvashi's exprssion became one of irritation as he answered.
"Yes, yes I'm the detective. But aren't you a Rank 4 powerhouse." He said while putting an emphasis on the word powerhouse before continuing. "Or are you all brawns and no brains?"
Sharron scowled as she threw her strawhat on the floor before speaking.
"Yeah? Atleast I'm a Rankbearer. And you 'brains' figured out as much as I would have --- or anyone really." She said while still scowling.
Urvashi was about to respond when he caught a figure moving on the street down bellow within his periphery.
He instantly turned around and saw a figure wearing a black trench coat, black gloves, and holdimg an entirely black cane lookimg directly at him.
He grimaced before squatting down so he wouldn't be visible anymore.
He looked at Sharron with an expression of fear and pointed to the window with his chin while backing away.
She didn't understand what he meant but she to squatted and took out her gun, and mouthed to Urvashi as if saying "The killer?".
Urvashi read the words coming out of her lips and nodded. She smiled and started getting closer to him.
Upon reaching Urvashi she asked in a hushed tone.
"Did he see you?"
Urvashi nodded, preffering not speak.
She thought for a few fleeting moments before speaking once again.
"I don't think he saw me. If he comes up here looking for you I can take him by suprise."
Upon hearing her words he grimaced --- he was going to be the bait!
But she was right, it was the best plan on such short notice.
Besides it wasn't like he was entirely helpless against the killer --- he still was quite skilled with a gun in hand.
He looked at the window before looking back at her, her face awfully close to his.
"Should we go after him or wait for him to come at me?" He whispered.
"Or just run." She said with an expression that implied that she was joking.
But Urvashi really wanted to run away.
"Of course we are going to wait here, here we have the advantage." She continued.
He just nodded.
Sharron took a few rocks and started walking to the hallway.
She turned around and spoke yet again in a hushed tone.

"I'm going to place these guys so they can inform me if he comes."
Urvashi had no complains.
Watching as she left Urvashi's heart dropped, he gripped his knuckles while looking at her with an expression of regret.
It was as if he was the girl that needed saving here, and not her.
Bitting his lip he stood up and went back to the window, this time he was looking for the killer.
He was going to lure him in here so he could kill him, or Sharron will. It doesn't really matter.
But the ominous killer was nowhere to be seen despite Urvashi looking there for a dozen or so seconds.
He heard light footsteps coming behind him and saw blonde hair from the periphery of his vision.
He inwardly heaved a sigh of relief upon seeing Sharron come back.
He didn't turn to look at her --- he didn't want the killer to suspect that someone was in there with him.
Sharron stood next to the door with her gun pointed at the ground with an expression of determination.
And despite this Urvashi had yet to move.
He thought for a second before turning back and picking up the strawhat Sharron had dropped before putting it on his head.
And upon doing this he went back to the window and kept looking for any signs of movement.
---
Hours passed without anything happening and and the Sun was rising.
Upon being bathed by rays of sunlight Urvashi visibly swayed and sat down.
He kept his focus on the entire night, same as Sharron who was still sitting besides the door.
He realized that the killer had probably long fled from this location. Maybe he didn't even see him at all. Maybe it wasn't even the killer.
But Urvashi's intuition told him that wasn't the case.
He grabbed his face and shook himself so he wouldn't fall asleep, and he just stood there for a while until he eventually heard the sound of birds chirping.
Sharron upon hearing this stood up and said.
"Let's get going."
She had managed to keep focus the entire time he was sitting andd trying not to fall asleep. Her gaze was filled with determination.
Urvashi sighed before getting up.
"Sure, but where should we go?"
After thinking for a few moments she said.
"Your place."
Urvashi contemplated about asking if she feared that Viano would find out, but he thought better of it and kept quiet.
He went up to her and they began walking side by side, her side profile, which Urvashi just saw, was even more beatiful than he imagined.
They kept walking and climbing down the stairs for a while before an overwhelming stench assaulted their noses.
Sharron who was still holding her gun in hand pointed it up quickly, while Urvashi who wasn't as fast took out his gun.
They started walking wearily with their backs next to eact other, they didn't even need to communicate to do this.
Urvashi with his back touching her felt her heartbeat which was overwhelmingly fast, Sharron probably felt his --- and it was probably just as fast.
Out of the corner of his eyes Urvashi saw a person lying down.
The person was wearing a black trench coat, black gloves, and had an entirely black cane next to him, he had even managed to see his skin, which was pale.
He fired before thinking.
BANG! BANG! BANG!
Sharron upon hearing this instantly turned around and saw Urvashi putting his gun back into his gun holder.
The body was now missing half of its head.
Sharron looked at the body before looking back at him. She smiled before saying.
"Well detective, I didn't think you had it in you."
Urvashi had a weird feeling and didn't respond back to her, or even acknowledge her.
He slowly walkep up to the corpse of the killer and turned it over.
He was dead beyond a doubt, but Urvashi's feeling gradually got more and more overwhelming.
He without a doubt blew his head off, but he felt as if he hadn't killed him.
No --- someone else had already killed him before he got the chance. Someone had left this body here so Urvashi would shoot it and 'kill' him for some reason. He had no proof really but he was sure of it.
Exhaling slowly he looked at Sharron, who was looking at him weirdly, before speaking.
"...I'm not the one who killed him."
"You're not? What are you talking about you blew his head off."
Urvashi looked at her with a serious expression before replying.
"I'm sure of it, there's a conspiracy here."
