'Kendric?'

Cahya called him, her hands filled with old parchments.

'Do you have time to help me read through these parchments?'

He took one and opened it up. An ancient text about the first visits to Earth of the Anunnaki. He agreed instantly and they went to the library.

'Wow Cahya, check this out! Here they tell about the fights and wars they had among eachother. I swear it, the similarities between us is amazing. They really made us in our image.'

They read for another hour through the ancient parchments uncovering even more amazing details about the Anunnaki and the first humans.

'This one is about Enki. How he created the first humans with his own blood. Only a hand full apperently. They were gifted, like us...' Cahya looked at Kendric with questioning eyes.

'Ok, so I haven't told this to no one. To be honest, I forgot and haven't thought back at it. But he has the golden blood. You know, Rhesus-null. He made a few humans with O-negative blood and his brother made humans with A and B,Rhesus positive and negative. This way they could distinguish one from the other. The hand full of people with a Rhesus-null bloodtype are descendants from Enki. So he made O negatives and Rhesus-null. I have Rhesus-null, only like 50 people in the world are left with this bloodtype. And only O negatives and Rhesus-null have powers. Apperently that was the deal they made.'

Cahya was impressed by this creation story of men and that Kendric was apperently the great, great, great, great times 1000 grandson from Enki. It explained a lot. After reading in silence some more Cahya asked Kendric what exactly had happened with Yrsa since it was almost dinnertime and the ball would begin soon after.

'You know the intensity of us together in a meditation session? I wasn't ready to go through that with her.'

'Why not?'

'I feel very vulnerable when I hack into someones session. Like they can pick up every thought and feeling.'

'Well, I don't think anyone can but it is definitely possible because I always pick up a lot when you hack my session. It actually explains our quick bonding to eachother.'

'Exactly and that's ok, because we are great friends you know?'

'I know, but wouldn't it be great to do it with Yrsa than? You told her you were great friends.'

'We are! But I want it to be more though. Sharing on that level with someone who has your interest. I don't know, it just creeps me out.'

'I understand. Although I feel the same about Kenji and our joined meditation session were a beautiful thing. It helped us getting to know eachother faster on a deeper level.'

'But Kenji and you are uhm, friends right?'

'For now, yes. But knowing eachother on a deeper level doesn't mean anything more than what you want it to be. Kenji and I take it step by step. But it is actually quite nice to know someone more intense before you dive in. It saves you some time. You can prevent a horrible date that way.' And Cahya laughed out loud.

She was right though but somehow it just all felt weird to be so intense with eachother even before you had your first date. He wanted to do it the old fashioned kind of way like his father and uncle had taught him. Ask a girl out, go on a date and get to know eachother.

Cahya packed up her things.

'You're leaving?'

'Yes, I have to fit my dresses and choose one! I am so indecisive when it comes to clothing and shoes, don't start about shoes. Wish me luck.'

Kendric walked the hallways and stared a bit around clueless how to fix things before tonight with Yrsa. It would be uncomfortable, them all together and than that big elephant in the room.

'So, what's your plan?'

Zasha sneeked up on him from behind. Kendric pulled up his shoulders.

'Ok, you need to make a grand gesture. I am sick and tired from that sourpuss. She has bin grumpy all week, talking about it all week, yadayadayada. If I hear one more word about you telling her that you guys are "great friends" I will burst out in flames and explode. So fix it Kendric!'

Zasha was right. He needed to make a grand gesture. Get his feelings out in the open, be honest and clear to Yrsa.

'Can you bring her to the exercise room Zasha in let's say, one hour?'

'Yes! That's my boy.' And Zasha ran off back to the girls dorm.

Kendric quickly changed in his tuxedo and got his hair fixed. He ran to the exercise room and arrived at his familiar hill.

'No, not today. I need a great entrance hall, with a big piano, marble stairs on both sides and flowers everywhere. Peonies!' He shouted and the exercise room turned into a big entrance hall. A black grand piano from Steinway and Sons stood in the middle where automaticalle some background music was played. Beautiful pink peonies were decorated on the banisters. Candles everywhere. The ambiance was perfect.

Zasha arrived with Yrsa through the flame slide and after she dropped her off above the stairs, she waved and winked at Kendric, putting a thumb up and whispering "you got this" when she left them alone.

Yrsa wore a mint green satin, of the shoulders ballroomdress with a corset made out of lace and little diamons. Her hair was braided like empress Sissi. She looked even more stunning.

Yrsa walked down the stairs and Kendric took her by the hand at the last steps.

'Yrsa, first of all, I am sorry. For not being clear, for being hot-tempered and not sharing our meditation session as I did with so many others. I meant it when I said that we are great friends. But to be honest, I wish for so much more. I can't really explain it but from the first time that I saw you I was hooked. This chemical attraction that I couldn't fight off even not when I wanted to because you made me mad. I just didn't stand a chance. So no, we are not great friends because I hope some day we will be much more. I have never ever felt this way for anyone.'

Yrsa smiled shyly: 'I feel the same but wasn't sure how you felt. I was scared because of you being the chosen one and so many girls who claimed to feel the same about you as I do, I just couldn't trust on my own feelings, do you understand? I mean, you are different Kendric, you are chosen. Cosmic powers and everything. I never ever felt this way also, not even with my ex boyfriend.

So thank you for being honest to me.'

Wait what? She has an ex boyfriend? How serious was it? How long?

Kendric took a satin box from a little table, took out a big pink-white peony and put it between her hair. She took him by his arm and he began to laugh. 'Actually, for this you need to hold on tight to me.' And he grabbed her by the middle and flames came out of his feet. The had lift off and he flew them out through the wormhole in the ceiling.

'I thought you weren't big on romance.' Yrsa said with a smirky smile on her face.

'I am just full of suprises.' And he winked at her.

The group was waiting for them in front of the messhall. All the boys wore black tuxedos and the girls wore all different kind of evening dresses. One even more beautiful than the other. Zasha stood out though with her mermaid shaped dress filled with diamonds which reflected all the light. Her long blond hair reached her ankles. She winked at Kendric and took Zuberi by the arm obeying him to come along at her side to make their big entrance. Leave it up to Zasha to go from friendly to demanding withing a milisecond.

The messhall had bin turned into a big mineral cave. Beautiful different kind of minerals decorated the whole place. Stunning!

The intergalactic DJ looked exactly like Miss Bria. He had those diamond laser looking white eyes, in this dark cave they looked like 2 ledlights. His curly darkbrown hair reached his shoulders and his skin was as pale as snow. He played some odd music, not known to men as far as Kendric knew of. Low authentic tones filled up the room

The boys got something to drink while the girls had fun with eachother.

'Have you seen her brother?' And Zuberi signed with his big round eyes at Kendric. Kendric smiled, he had to admit, Zasha looked even more beautiful than normal which was nearly impossible.

Marcellus brought Harlow her drink and asked her to dance. The others followed his example but Kendric noticed that Kenji stood alone and Cahya was nowhere to be found.

'Yrsa, excuse me for a second. I'll be right back ok?' And he hurried himself to Kenji.

'Oh hey man. What's up?' Kenji asked while enjoying himself.

'Where is Cahya?'

'Oh she said she had something important to do and would meet me up later. All is well. Don't worry and enjoy. Yrsa looks beautiful.' Kenji tapped him on the shoulder and smiled friendly. He was always so modest.

He wondered what Cahya had to do that was so important that she would miss out on New years eve and couldn't shake off the feeling that he had to find her. Yrsa was busy in a conversation with some of the girls and he decided to make a quick escape. He would meet her later after he found Cahya. But where to look for Cahya first?

He didn't had to think about it for long since he saw Cahya running to Master Uruk's office and he ran agter her while shouting her name.

'Kendric? What are you doing here?'

'I could ask you the same. What's so important that you miss out on New years eve?'

'No, I wasn't planning on missing out, I will just arrive a little later. I have to do this first.'

She pointed out to a parchment in her hand. Kendric took it and began to read out loud:

In the beginning, there were no people only animals and earth's amazing nature. Flora and fauna, made possible by their sun.

'We read this already Cahya.'

'I know. But look,' she pointed out a symbol, 'do you recognise it?'

Kendric looked at the symbol. But he could read it, it was Anunnaki.

'It's their word for pyramids. Enki showed me one made from Lapis lazuli. All blue, great structure with healing powers.'

'Did he also show you their fighting capabilities?' And she pointed another piece of text out.

Kendric read the small letters underneath the page.

'Wait, what? The pyramids have a defense mechanism?'

'Apperently so. We need to find Master Uruk. I was hoping he would be in his office. He wasn't at the ball right?'

Kendric hasn't saw him and he took her to his office. They stood in front of the smokescreen.

'Now what?'

'Master Uruk has installed security meassures to protect the Akashic records which are stored in his office. Just wait, he will be notified that we are here.'

A few moments later Master Uruk opened up the smokescreen with his lizard staff and let them enter his office. Cahya wanted to explain her findings but Master Uruk shushed her and placed the point of his lizard staff on her forehead.

'I see.' He said and paced around while Cahya and Kendric sat down on the pillows.

'You see, the problem with those column caves that the entrance collapsed thousands of years ago. You can't even find the entrance anymore because it has lowered into the ground. We know of the colums beneath letterly every pyramid on Earth for years but we can't access them. And from within the pyramids there is just no way to enter the column caves. They made it so that it would be seperated. There are however caves underneath the pyramids but they don't go deep enough unfortunately. We always wanted to know what was in thise column caves. Many wrote about them but only a few have seen them and many records have bin destroyed through time. A defense mechanism. Very, very interesting! I will call upon the Annunaki and ask for more information.'

'Now?' Cahya asked and her voice trembled.

Master Uruk laughed and shook his head: 'I believe you have a Ball to go to?'
