They looked upon the Staffin museum. It wasn't what the group expected at all. A small house made of large stones, no neighbours, no town, no nothing. Just nature, hills and an abandoned road. It was letterly in the middle of nowhere. Kendric knew this ofcourse since he had bin there already but he noticed that the guys were expecting a lot more than the small building that stood in front of them.
Kenji threw the gadget Udjat in the air to scan the place. As soon as it flew over they recieved the images in their mind. The museum filled with fossiles, they could see everything in precise detail. No one was there, it seemed safe to go in.
'How long can this take? It is only this small building to look through, we should find it quickly.' Maynard said while he walked to the door of the museum. He tried to open it, but it was locked.
'Let me use my apportation,' and he disappeared only to reappear behind the door and opened it up from the inside out. The group walked in and scanned the place this time with their own eyes. Zuberi admired the exposition.
'Wow, that's cool!'
'Not now Zuberi, concentrate on our task!' Kenji said while busy scoping the place out.
Zuberi didn't mind Kenji's snarl, he never bin outside his village in Tanzania and from the second he arrived on the Isle of Skye he had enjoyed every wonderful element he could get his eyes on. Like the beautiful nature from Scotland, he enjoyed himself to the fullest and acted like a tourist. He looked at Kendric and gazed at the collection in the museum, pretending like he was searching very hard for the document. They looked everywhere but couldn't find any document.
'If it is here, I don't know where it could be.' Maynard said while opening up a small box that stood on the ground. There was nothing in it and he closed it again. Kendric was getting worried. The mission seemed so easy, than why didn't they have any clue now what to do next?
Kenji lifted some things up with his telekineses power to look under some heavy stuff, all for nothing though. Kendric looked at the guys, he felt so desperate. What to do now?
Suddenly a strong intuitive feeling overwhelmed him.
'Zuberi!'
But Zuberi bended over a sign, busy reading, something about the fossiles.
'Are you freakin serious? ZU-BE-RI!!!' and all the guys looked up at Zuberi. He came slowly up, straigtened his back and in all innocence asked Kendric what was up.
'Use your divination power.'
'With what?' Zuberi didn't understand what good would come out of it.
Kendric looked around. For Zuberi to gather information with his power to discover hidden knowledge, he needed some object which was linked to the document. Kendric felt so stupid.
'Never mind, we don't have anything linked to the document which you need to use your power'.
'How about us?', Maynard looked at Kendric and then looked at his arms, 'well, it is about our DNA right? Human DNA!' And he stared at Kendric hoping he was correct.
Actually, Maynard was on to something and got Kendric thinking.
'Maybe if he focused enough on what he wants to find while holding on to us, he will recieve anything, or something or whatever?' Kenji said it and he walked to Kendric.
'It should be your DNA. If we want to make any chance with this, it should be the chosen one.'
Kendric looked questioningly at Zuberi and Zuberi shrugged his shoulders while pulling up his upperlip.
Zuberi sat down on the ground cross-legged, closed his eyes and did his breathing exercises while focussing on the document they wanted so desperately to find. The more relaxed he got, the more clear his mind was. As if he was staring in the dark and the light pointing out the way was just waiting for him. When he felt ready, he ordered Kendric to sit in front of him. Kendric wasn't sure of it at all but did it anyway. What did they have to lose? Zuberi grabbed his hands and breathed heavily. In his mind he saw a little orb appear in the dark, it got bigger and bigger with each breath he took. He heard a woman's voice in his mind:
Open your eyes!
He opened his eyes immediatly and saw the light right in front of him. Kendric saw it as well. He wasn't sure if they could stand up and stop holding eachothers hands, afraid that the connection would be severed. But Zuberi let Kendric's hands go and got up. The light floated through the room and they both looked at it. It was so powerful.
The guys didn't get what they were staring at, their was nothing to see for them. The light slowly moved to the right corner, back on the left side from the museum. Zuberi and Kendric followed the light, it flew towards Zuberi at highspeed and hit him on his forehead and disappeared. It was like Zuberi was struck down by lightning and passed out on the ground. Kendric bended over him, checking Zuberi's forehead but there was nothing to be seen. No blood, not even a scratch.
'What happened?' Marcellus asked. But Kendric didn't know what exactly happened. He told them about the light.
Maynard was hitting Zuberi in the face and yelled: 'Yo Bro, wake up!!! Wake up!!!'
When Maynard want to hit Zuberi on the cheek again in his attempts to waking him up, Kenji held him by his wrist.
'Enough!'
Maynard pulled his arm away.
'I was just trying to wake him up since we don't have any water here at hand.'
Kenji bend over Zuberi and he put some pressure with his fingers on some pressure points.
'Wow, you learned kyusho jitsu?' Marcellus asked him while being very impressed by Kenji's technique.
'I am actually still learning al the pressure points of the human body, certainly in fighting form. But yes, I have some basic knowledge. My grandfather taught me.' And Kenji removed his fingers. As soon as he did, Zuberi woke up.
'What happened?' Zuberi asked confused. But before they could answer him he crawled to the right corner and pulled away the chest that stood there in the way of whatever Zuberi was looking for. A little carpet laid underneath it and he pulled it away as well. A hatch appeared.
'It is down here,' Zuberi tried to open it, 'it is stuck or something!'
Kenji ordered him to go aside and tried with telekineses to open up the hatch but it didn't bench. He squeezed his eyes again which he tended to do each time he tried to focus on something. But still nothing, no movement at all.
They all stood in front of the hatch. Maynard walked away saying he was going to find something to open it up the old fasion way. He came back with a metal pipe, tried to wring it a little bit under the hatch and began to put pressure on it. Still nothing...

'Seriously, this close and we are stranded here, at this point? Oh come on!' Maynard complained while he sighed and trew away the metal pipe on the ground.
'Maybe we should go back, ask Miss Bria for help or something?' Marcellus suggested. But Kendric didn't came this far just to go back empty handed. He was determined to get this stupid document out from under that hatch.
'Hold my hand Kenji!', he ordered while staring at the hatch and Kenji quickly held his hand, 'now focus!'
And they both took a deep breath into the nose and out through the mouth. Again and again while focussing on the hatch. Kenji squeezed his eyes again while Kendric pictured the hatch opening up in his mind. All of a sudden the hatch flew open and made a hard sound while it landed against the wall. They all bend over the hole which wasn't very large.
'Did you feel that Kendric?' And Kenji looked at him,'like magic prevented it from opening, like it was fighting us.'
Kenji was right, Kendric felt it to. Something resisted them.
Marcellus took the document out. It was an old rolled up parchment sealed with a blue stamp.
'Let's go before someone finds us her,' and Marcellus placed the parchment in his backpack. They walked to the door but before they could open it they heard voices in the distance coming closer and closer. It sounded like a woman and at least three man. Marcellus looked at the window and immediatly ducked. He raised four fingers to the others.
They heard a woman yelling to them with a low voice: 'We know you're there! Come out, puppets of Uruk!'
Kendric wasn't planning on waiting for this woman to catch them. He made a fist with his right hand, made the pulling something out of the air movement and then punched in front of him. A wormhole appeared and Kendric pointed out to it, ordering them to jump in without saying a word. One by one they jumped right into the wormhole. When Kendric wanted to jump in, the door flew open. As he jumped he looked behind him and saw the woman storming in with three other man.
There they were, standing in Master Uruk's office. Master Uruk accompanied by Miss Bria stood in front of them and directly closed the wormhole after Kendric jumped out.
'That was close!' Kendric said while still looking behind him where the wormhole disappeared. Master Uruk remained silent. Kendric felt a sharp pain in his forehead again.
'Don't fight it, let me see what happened.' Master Uruk ordered him while he had placed his staff on Kendric's forehead.
Kendric took a deep breath and he felt Master Uruk poking his mind. 'Ah, you did well young truthseekers. But it was a close call.' And Master Uruk stepped towards Marcellus and reached out his hand. Marcellus grabbed his backpack and pulled out the old parchment. Master Uruk threw it into the air and the parchment was lifted upon the wind and placed back between some other parchments in the Akashic records tower.
'I am sure you're thirsty.' Master Uruk opened up the smokescreen with his lizard staff and walked towards the golden messhall. They sure were thirsty but also had so much to talk about.
'All in good time,' Master Uruk said. He walked to the first table on the right and sat down and made a gesture for them to join him. Miss Bria joined them as well.
'Why did you send us to Portree?' Kendric asked Miss Bria. She chose her dinner and looked at him.
'I thought you would appreciate to see your hometown for a little while. Besides, it is the journey which helps you bond with each other. To think creative, to be impulsive, to act like a team... after all this mission is an exercise!'
Her dinner stood in front of her. It looked like a goose or something. They actually had no clue what it was.
She laughed and said: 'It is a specialty on my planet, this bird looking creature is called Diami. It taste a bit like smoked salmon.' She was cutting the meat with her lasereyes and sticked her fork in a piece and stuffed it in her mouth. It was perfectly cut into thin slices.
'We had to steal a sailboat since it was a 5 hour walk if we didn't!' Marcellus told her and it was obvious he blaimed her for her incompetence.
'Oh I know Marcellus, but you had a lovely sailtrip didn't you?' And she smiled full of innocence.
Marcellus rolled his eyes, definitely being annoyed by her.
'The sailboat still layes there in the bay, what about the owners?' And he sniffed with his nose from annoyance. His face all red and his eyes looked a bit like the laser eyes from Miss Bria.
'Don't worry young master Marcellus, we have taken care of it.' Master Uruk assured him and he filled his spoon with soup from a large bowl. Marcellus decided to leave it at that and ordered spaghetti bolognese and a Fanta orange with a orange slice on the side.
They were all exhausted and even Kendric was eating slowly now. To tired to gobble away his food. Master Uruk asked Kendric what his thoughts were about the mission and what he could improve the next time.
'Oh man, where to start?', Kendric straightened up now, 'how about the next time we pack some things, like I don't know, a map, a compass, a flashlight, maybe a phone so that we could use the searchmachine in case we need to find something? And how about you guys placing us right in the spot where we need to be instead of letting us hang dry? We are teenagers! What the heck did you expect from a 15 year old? I don't even know how we did it. I felt clueless, hopeless, powerless!' Kendric spilled it all out within one breath as he often tends to do so since he arrived at Anunnaki High. He didn't knew he had so much anger inside untill Master Uruk asked him for his thoughts.
The guys stared at him with their mouths wide open. They couldn't believe Kendric just spilled his guts out against Master Uruk and Miss Bria.
'Wow and I thought I was angry.' Marcellus laughed when he said it with his woozy face on again while slurping his spaghetti.
Master Uruk scraped his troath, preparing to speech again: 'Young master Kendric, we wouldn't have send you if we didn't believe you could pull it off. You have recieved a lot of knowledge and the basics for you all to use your powers. The rest is to be explored by yourselves, which you all exactly did. You listened to your intuition and acted on it. I honestly don't get your frustration after being so succesful?' And he filled his spoon with soup again.
'Besides, the girls were keeping a close eye on you!' Miss Bria said while continuing her Diami.
They all totally forgot. The girls were suppose to work with Jane the Artificial Intelligence from the school.
'Yes, that's right. You were never alone. We have so many satellites around Earth, Elon Musk his Starlink is nothing compared to our network. We have watched you all closely. Who do you think send out for the orbs in the darkness? Or did you guys asked for help to your spiritguides?' Snapped Miss Bria at them.
The guys thought about the moment in the hills. No one ever asked the spirit guides for guidance, they just appeared.
'I thought they could sense we needed help.' Zuberi noted in all innocence but Miss Bria shook her head.
'You think they have nothing better to do than to watch over you guys all the time? Spiritguides are called on, neither of you did it so the girls fixed it for you. They also saw the woman and three man closing in on you.'
'Who were they?' They asked all together at the same time.
'That was my ex wife and three man of her cult. Remember The Negatives I told you about?', Master Uruk stared in his bowl of soup while making circles with his spoon in it, 'they must have sensed it.'
Kendric knew it was her, it couldn't be a coincidence a woman showing up and ordering Uruk's puppets to come out.
'When Kendric and I joined our forces to open up to hatch, we felt a magical resistance preventing us from opening it. Could that be what alarmed them?' Kenji asked Master Uruk.
'Yes I felt it when I was poking in Kendric's experiences. It is definitely her powers that tried to fought you off. Quite impressive actually that you beated her protection measurements.' Master Uruk looked upon them as a proud father.
Miss Bria got up: 'Chop chop, time to go to bed.'
They all walked to their dorm and made ready for bed.
'Good night and thank you team.' With these words Kendric let himself fall on his pillow and fell a sleep instantly.
