Chapter 91. Huang Wen got caught.

Chapter 91. Huang Wen got caught.

While he ran toward the zombies army from Fuzhou, Huang Wen's mind went toward Zhang Xuan. He wondered if somehow Zhang Xuan fell in love with him. She seemed a bit different.

It was then that Youshe reminded him again, "Master... have you forget your determination?"

Huang Wen sighed.

Fengsu spoke, "Master don't be angry. Youshe only want to see you achieve your goal. We all do."

Huang Wen mentally nodded his head, "I understand."

But a moment later he asked Youshe, "You're not saying all these advises, just to make me use your skill on Chen Yao and Xia Yue, aren't you?"

Youshe quickly denied it vehemently, "No, no, no, of course not. I reminded you purely out of my loyalty."

Huang Wen coldly replied, "Good..., I will not allow anyone to manipulate me. If you try anything funny, then I don't mind if Baihu completely absorb you. I can do just fine with him and Fengsu."

"Master...", and Youshe began to complain.

It was a long winded one. Youshe insisted that his advise was sincere and any suspicion from Huang Wen would only make him hesitated at making an honest advise in the future. Huang Wen let him complained for a little while.

After a while he coldly rebuked him, "Shut up."

"Master...", Youshe tried to complain again.

"Fengsu, absorb some of his soul essence as punishment. Absorb until you're slightly stronger than him. Baihu, helped Fengsu if Youshe show any resistance.", Huang Wen gave command to Fengsu and Baihu.

"Master! Please stop this injustice!", Youshe ran around and screamed as Fengsu and Baihu quickly form a restrictive formation on him.

"Are you trying to disobey me? Know your place or I'll tell Fengsu and Baihu to completely absorb you!", Huang Wen growled at Youshe.

By that time, Fengsu and Baihu already captured the poor Youshe and put a restrictive formation around him.

Youshe began to plead earnestly, "Master... I will never try to trick you again. Forgive me master. Just let me go this time. Give me a second chance."

Huang Wen coldly replied, "I do give you a second chance. Now shut your mouth and let Fengsu does the work. One more word and I'll tell him to finish you."

Under Baihu and Fengsu cold stare, Youshe quietly let Fengsu absorbed his essence. Back then Huang Wen allowed Youshe to be the second rank based on seniority. But no matter how he looked at it, Youshe didn't deserve that position. Baihu had his strength and ferocity. Fengsu was quick witted and knowledgeable. Youshe had a couple of skills, most of those were actually used for his perverted desire. The only skill he had and could be used for other purpose was the skill that helped Huang Wen's presence undetected.

Even that skill, it was originally used by Youshe to look the things he shouldn't look. And the last skill he was taught Huang Wen, was a skill to sensually seduce the girls.

Huang Wen had asked him his other skills and all he got were something along that lines. He had wanted to fix their rank based on their ability, but hadn't had the chance until now.

Now, Huang Wen watched Fengsu grew stronger. By the time he finished, Huang Wen noticed that it would only take few more days of absorbing his polluted soul essence for Fengsu to be ready to leave his soul realm. He would have two demons at his side.

With Youshe's skill, Huang Wen could run without worrying with stumbled upon their enemy. He even passed Colonel Wen Liang's army who were sent to attack his army from outside the town. He saw two armored vehicles led that army.

His heart filled with sense of urgency. He ran as fast as he could and soon they saw the battle between the army from Fuzhou against their opponent from Ningde. The battle itself happened in a very wide area, spanned over several kilometers. Huang Wen stopped and watched the battle for few moments. He didn't want to disturb the battle too much. His action would reduce the army from Fuzhou's strength. It could change the tide of battle, but he didn't want that to happen.

As far as he could see, it was going to be a long drawn out battle. The army from Fuzhou didn't have enough strength to win the battle, but they would win the battle if the army from Ningde showed their back on them. The army from Ningde was forced to stop their withdrawal back to their main base. They had to win the battle against the army from Fuzhou first.

Whoever led the army from Fuzhou apparently understood this clearly. He attacked in reserve, he used most of his army to defend against any attempt of attack from his opponent. But whenever the army from Fuzhou relieved some of the pressure, he would send his army to attack them.

Huang Wen watched this and part of him felt relieved. It would be better for his plan to rule over Gutian town, if both army had similar or closely match strength. Whoever won this battle, won't have enough power to challenge him. And from the way he saw it, the army from Ningde would win the prolonged battle. Which was even better, because their main objective was to return to Ningde.

He carefully thought over some choices. His action would help the army from Ningde, but he didn't want to help them too much. If they won the battle with much of their forces intact, they might be tempted to give a try at occupying Gutian town.

Finally he made a move against one of Fuzhou's zombies commander. This man led no less than 10,000 zombies, but most of the time he only acted as a reserves for other units.

There were many units acted as a reserves, they sent their zombies to other area whenever Zhao Yulang commanded them to. Losing one of them would disturb the balance, but it wouldn't disturb it so much that it would change the tide of the battle.

Once he made his choice, Huang Wen didn't waste any time. He jog confidently toward his target, with the skill he learned from Youshe, he slipped through the zombies easily.

It was a walk in the park. Without any problem, he slipped through the zombies and went right toward his target.

He was several meters behind his target, when suddenly he saw his target turned to him. Huang Wen didn't know whether he was detected or not, but the sudden movement, made Huang Wen stopped on his track.

Huang Wen watched his target, scanned around his direction. The way he behaved, showed that he hadn't seen Huang Wen yet. But at the same time, he knew someone was coming for him and actively tried to find Huang Wen.

'This isn't good.', Huang Wen silently thought to himself.

Rather than trying to hide his presence, Huang Wen decided he had to take his target out, before he could find him. Huang Wen jumped and blasted through the zombies. He closed the distant in seconds.

His fist launched like a lightning. His opponent was yet to see Huang Wen, but suddenly he could feel a threat was coming and without any hesitation, he threw himself to the ground and rolled away from his current position. He instructed his zombies to gather and form a tight wall of defense around him.

Huang Wen didn't stop there, he quickly leaped high in the air, to pass the wall of zombies.

His opponent didn't tarry at securing his life as well, he kept on moving away from Huang Wen, while send his zombies to flock behind him. Rather than watching for Huang Wen, he watched the zombies, the second he saw some of them pushed away by something, the fog that had been distracting his mind from noticing Huang Wen cleared away.

"I see you now!", a vicious smile formed on his face.

"Attack him!', he shouted as he mentally sent his zombies to attack Huang Wen.

Once he saw Huang Wen, the zombies under his control was able to sense Huang Wen's presence as well. Some of them was hesitating due to Huang Wen's threatening aura, but under the control of their commander, they began to attack Huang Wen.

Huang Wen didn't become panic from the unpredictable turn of event. He calmly defended himself and quickly used another skill. At once a pressuring aura exploded from his body, rendering the zombies around him paralyzed by fear, even under the control of their commander. Huang Wen used that moment to call Baihu out of his soul realm.

Once Baihu was out of Huang Wen's soul realm, the pressuring deadly aura grew even thicker.

Back to back, they fought the zombies around them. Paralyzed by fear, they weren't a match for Huang Wen and Baihu, but Huang Wen needed them alive.

"Just pushed them away! That's our target!", Huang Wen shouted and pointed at the zombies commander.

With Baihu watched for his back, Huang Wen opened a path toward the commander who was running away from them, as soon as he saw his zombies were incapable of harming him. He threw more zombies to block Huang Wen's path and ran as fast as he could away from Huang Wen.

Or that was what Huang Wen's thought. He was so absorbed in chasing his target that he didn't pay much attention to his surrounding. His eyes was fixed on his target, his hand busily pushed away the zombies who blocked his path, while his feet kept on moving and carried him closer to his target.

Suddenly the zombies that were blocking his path was gone. He reached an open unobtrusive path. The sudden changes, woke him from his, seem like trance, chasing.

He looked around and saw walls of zombies on his left, right and behind him. The only path opened for him was to move forward.

'It seem I was fell to an ambush.', Huang Wen thought to himself.

"Master, these zombies won't be able to stop us at all. If you wish to, I could quickly open a path for us.", Baihu spoke to him.

Huang Wen gave it a thought and then shook his head, "It's true that I was careless, but now I'm curious to see how they're planning to deal with me."

Baihu listened and then nodded his head, "As you wish, whether we go to enter sea of flame or mountains of blade, I'll be by your side."

Huang Wen laughed, "Well, let's see our host then."

Both walked calmly through the path. For those who saw them, it seemed like there were two Huang Wen, walking side by side. Both exude a confidence made all the preparation seemed like a child play. But it had not been decided yet, whether the hunter trapped a tiger in a paper cage, or it was the tiger's confidence that was a false confidence.

Step by step, it brought Huang Wen and Baihu closer to whatever trap prepared for them.
