As Huang Wen moved closer to Nan An Public School, he formed a plan. Previously he decided to wait for Wang Shi in the school, but as he thought about it, he decided that there was a better plan.
The only problem with this plan was that he wouldn't be able to sleep.
That was why he tried to reach Nan An as soon as possible and had an hour or two of rest. Carefully controlled his speed and his breath. He managed to reach Nan An Public School in time. His job wasn't end there though. If he wanted his plan to work smoothly, he needed something else. Huang Wen went to find a drug store or a clinic.
He still remembered he saw one drug store, when he gathered supplies earlier. He focused on gathering food and gas and skipped over the drug store. He quickly found the drug store and broke in.
Huang Wen easily found a pack of disposable syringed with needles, but he didn't have any knowledge about the drug he wanted to use on Wang Shi. He calmly thought over and then began methodically look for any book he might learn from. He sighed with relief when he found one on the cashier desk. He browsed through the book and found the one he looked for. Unfortunately it only gave the description of the drug and its uses, without a more detailed information such as the dosage and side effects, but since he didn't really care about what would happen to Wang Shi, it was enough for him.
He took all the supplies and left the drug store. Once again he entered the Nan An Public School to rest for a few hours.
He didn't dare to sleep for he might not be wake up at the right time. He just sat and meditated. He didn't try to figure out anything, just sat and calmly breathed.
He didn't know how long he sat there, but he was so tired that he fell asleep. He didn't know how long he had been asleep, he just knew it that he fell asleep since for certain moment, he couldn't remember when the last time he observed his breath. He opened his eyes and took a look at the sky from the nearby window. To his surprised the sky was bright blue.
Hastily he got up and ran outside.
To his relief, he didn't see Wang Shi. He might be late, but Wang Shi was even lazier and hadn't appeared at Nan An when the sun already high in the sky.
After gave it a thought for a while, he realized it just fit with the way Xia Bao and Chen Fang described Wang Shin's personality but Huang Wen didn't want to make any gamble and quickly merged with the zombies around Nan An public school. By keeping his aura as minimum as possible, he walked among the zombies freely without drew any attention. He left his sword hidden somewhere near.
He was quite irritated as he waited for Wang Shi and silently cursed him as he waited, "Damn spoiled brat..."
It must be close to 01:00 PM when Wang Shi finally arrived with his imported car.
Wang Shi was strutting like he was a champion or something. He stood right in front of the school gate, barely noticed the difference due to his conceited mentality. He never imagined that they might prepare something. It was hard to imagine though, if Huang Wen didn't appear yesterday, it was quite impossible for those within the school to escape.
"Chen Fang! Xia Bao!!.. Are you ready yet ?", he laughed and shouted obnoxiously.
He wasn't aware that Huang Wen stood just few meters behind him. Slowly he moved through the zombies and soon arrived right behind Wang Shi who hadn't realized the threat behind him.
"Xia Bao !! Chen Fang !! You really leave me no cho... keuk", with one blow Huang Wen ended his speech.
Huang Wen didn't kill him though, he took his time to aim well and with controlled force he chopped back of Wang Shi's head, right on the base of his skull. Without much struggle Wan Shi dropped on the road, unconscious. Huang Wen checked him to see whether he died or not. He also checked it with his third eyes, to make sure that all zombies still linked to Wang Shi.
He prepared some attack from the zombies but sighed in relief as the zombies maintained the last instruction that was given to them, to surround the school.
With Wang Shi rendered unconscious, Huang Wen loaded him into his car and drove the car through the zombies to a place near Nan An's border. If something goes wrong, he wanted to be as far as possible from the hordes of zombies that surrounded Nan An Public School.
Huang Wen was glad that in their journey to Nan An, he used it to learn how to drive the truck. Every once in a while he glanced at Wang Shi. He drove for about five minutes when he saw Wang Shi began to regain his consciousness.
Huang Wen stopped the car and took a small bottle of anesthetic drug. He wondered how much he should use and decided to use it all. He made sure there was no bubble, before he injected Wang Shi with the dose. He wondered if he did it right, or whether he gave the right dose, but even if he made a mistake, he didn't feel sorry for Wang Shi.
He waited and it seemed the drug worked just perfect. Wang Shi mumbled some incoherent words, but didn't seem to regain his consciousness.
Huang Wen drove the car again, further toward the border of Nan An. He reached their temporary base, where he carried Wang Shi into the base and tied his hands and feet. He felt tired and wanted to sleep.
Huang Wen wondered if he should inject Wang Shi with another dose of the drug. He checked his pulse. It seemed normal. After some consideration, he decided to give him another dose and then went to sleep. He put his foot on Wang Shi's body.
About an hour later, he woke up and saw Wang Shi tried to get up. Wang Shi sat and looked around, confused.

"Hey... who...are... you?", he asked while blinked his eyes, trying to focus it.
Huang Wen yawned, lazily aimed and carefully hit Wang Shi at the back of his head, sent him back to dream land. He prepared another dose of drug and administered it to Wang Shi before he slept again. He spent almost the entire day, repeating the same process. Probably it was the first time he could rest so well, within the last few weeks.
He wasn't aware when it happened, but he realized that he was getting sloppy when he administered the drug to Wang Shi, likely the last few times he injected Wang Shi, he wasn't waiting until the previous effect wear off. Or perhaps it just wasn't supposed to be use in that way. He hadn't checked the pulse at all before he injected him with another dose, so he didn't know when Wang Shi died. He was aware that Wang Shi died, when he woke up from the sound of hundred thousands of zombies marched toward his place.
He must be unconsciously wary as he slept, since he suddenly jumped out of his sleep when the horde of zombies still few hundred meters away from him. When he saw them, the first thing he did, was to check on Wang Shi's pulse. He found him already dead cold. He watched the horde of zombies, determinedly walked toward him. He saw the link wasn't concentrated on Wang Shi anymore.
It was rather flew far. He could see the thread so thin and stretched.
"From where that demon lord rules everything?", he wondered.
For the first time since the incident where Youshe possessed him, he contacted Youshe and Baihu, 'What do you think about this demon lord?'
'Hehehehe...I thought you will never ask.', said Youshe.
'Just gives me an answer.', Huang Wen said coldly.
'Alright... alright... likely he was some kind of demon lord, they were high level demon, only second to the demon king himself. If you face him now, you'll be dead in a few seconds.', Youshe answered.
'Do you recognize this one?', Huang Wen asked.
'No, we're too far from him, even if he doesn't hide his presence. I could not sense who is this demon lord.', said Youshe.
'How much further his influence will be?', Huang Wen asked.
'Just move away about twenty kilometers further and you will be fine.', Youshe answered.
'Hmm... it's been a while....', Huang Wen watched the zombies moved closer.
He drew his sword and took a deep breath, deep inside he could feel Baihu's excitement and Youshe's worry.
"Let's hack some zombies...", Huang Wen talked to himself and charged forward.
It had been quite some time when he felt such adrenaline rush. He used to drive the zombies away, even after he knew how to hide his presence. He had at least two reasons, first he didn't want Baihu and Youshe to secretly grew stronger and second, they needed to find Chen Yao's and Xia Yue's parent as soon as possible. The existence of a demon lord changed everything. He could see the gap was just too wide. He could no longer choose how he would improve his strength.
Whether it through absorbing zombies and demons, or through other means of cultivation, he must improve quickly.
He charged through the zombies, every time he swung his sword, 4 to 6 zombies killed at once. The bonus from his passive skills was shown now. 10% bonus from martial art level 2 and the improved strength from Bloodlust level 2, within tens of seconds doubled his current strength. Ten to a dozen of zombies were killed in exchange of 1 point of stamina.
He carefully watched his spirit point and retreated whenever the zombies almost surrounded him. After twice of retreating, rest and fight, he heard the voice he was longing for.
"Congratulation, you reach level 22 and earn 2 points to spend on your stat."
'Why don't you spend it on the strength? ', suddenly he heard Baihu talked to him.
'I need high spirit to keep myself from entering Berserker state.' Huang Wen answered.
'But if your strength was high, you could kill more zombies before your spirit point closed to zero. Wouldn't that be the same?', Baihu asked.
'And with that strength you have the power to win against a stronger opponent like demons and such.', Youshe added.
'Right...', Baihu agreed.
Huang Wen wondered why they suddenly tried to persuade him to invest more on his strength rather than spirit and answered, 'I'll think about it. For now I don't have time to think about it.'
"2 points on Spirit", he said.
That day he kept retreating, rest and fought several times until he reached level 24. All the stat points were spent on his Spirit stat. Every time Baihu and Youshe persuaded him, he always said he would think about it later.
When he decided it was time to leave Nan An and catch up with the other, he was at the peak of level 24 and only needed a few more points to reach level 25. Even better was the fact that he improved his mastery over Martial Art and Bloodlust.
