Chapter 49: The Royal Family has come to Play.

Bonyu grimaced as the seemingly weak cocky ghost immediately overpowered her. Another person who was stronger than her even after she just got stronger from taking the energy of that Saiyan child. She glanced at Goku and his friends to see that they seemed to be just as surprised as her. So, this one wasn’t part of their group…

A punch to her gut was followed up by a strike across her jaw into a rapid-fire combo that left her slightly seeing stars. None of her strikes trying to utilize Forced Spirit Fission worked on this boy! It was like he wasn’t even alive! Every being had energy inside them even ghosts, but when Bonyu tried to separate his, it was like she was trying to manipulate something outside of nature. Whatever was going on inside his body was not natural!

“What exactly are you…?” Bonyu questioned.

“I’ll tell you if you can beat me, Chunky.” He smirked.

Bonyu teleported to the Construction Force as she realized this mission was impossible with her current strength. “It’s time to retreat, unfortunately.” Just as she appeared by them, she disappeared with them.

In only a few moments, Heaven was free from all influence of the Planet Trade Organization. The Dragon Team looked at the young man in astonishment. He completely surpassed both Trunks in his Super Saiyan form and Bonyu, Turles’s wife! But they had no idea who the hell he was! If he was this strong, how could he have possibly died? Who was strong enough to kill someone like him?

“Aw, what a coward!” The young man clenched his fists in frustration.

“Don’t throw a tantrum. It’s over now.” A blonde version of him walked over.

“You’re throwing a tantrum! I was just cheated out of a good brawl when she was the one who accepted it!” He explained his grievances.

“Get over it.” She told him, not caring about his feelings in the slightest.

“You get over it…” He turned away from her and locked eyes with the Dragon Team. “You’re Son Goku, right?” He asked.

“That’s right. Who are you?” Goku wanted to fight this guy.

“I’m…” A strange look appeared on his face. “Lapis,” Lapis answered. “That’s my sister, Lazuli.” He pointed at the blonde behind him.

“You’re crazy strong, Lapis!” Goku complimented him.

“Wanna know a secret, Son Goku?” Lapis grinned.

“Sure?” Goku didn’t mind.

“I’m only this strong because I was made to kill you,” Lapis revealed.

“Hmm?” Turles sensed the weakened chi of his children’s mother.

The Turles Family halted their training in the newly-built exclusive Planet Trade Organization’s Gravity Chamber Training Room. Turles didn’t even get the chance to see the look of worry on his children’s faces as they teleported to Bonyu’s chi in the medical room. He followed behind them, interested in the power that could defeat Bonyu. They were pressed up against the glass as Bonyu weakly smiled at them.

‘Report.’ Turles telepathically talked to Bonyu.

‘Heaven is far stronger than I anticipated. I alone am not enough for this mission.’ She admitted without shame.

‘I’ll find out more later. For now, rest up. I’ll deal with the kids.’ Turles told her.

‘Understood.’ Bonyu drifted off to sleep.

“Kids, do you wanna meet the people responsible for beating up your mom?” Turles asked with a grin.

The furious look on their faces was more than enough of an answer for Turles. “Grab on.” He couldn’t keep the smile on his face from widening as he teleported to the afterlife with his children in tow and Construction Force members. The family of five and others appeared in Heaven with a silent pop.

Kress had his legs wrapped over Turles’s shoulders, latching on to the back of his head. Stella was latched around Turles’s waist. Those two still haven’t learned Spirit Control on account of their young age. Turles saw no need to force them to learn it. After all, they didn’t need Spirit Control to become strong. There were plenty of fighters in the universes strong enough to keep up with people who could use Spirit Control without knowing it themselves.

The inhabitants of Heaven who could sense ki felt that massive power the instant it showed up in the heavenly realm. None of them hesitated to fly at full speed toward the source of energy. Various emotions appeared on their faces—anger, hatred, disbelief, confusion, rage, and terror. All of them aimed to converge on that power’s location.

One by one, they all showed up in front of the evil source of ki. But it wasn’t just a single person. It was a family of them. The man who ruined their lives and also took it simply smiled at them. While those smaller versions of him were glaring at them. One in particular seemed unable to control herself. Her impressive power was rising uncontrollably.

“Turles! Things won’t end like they did before! You’re going to pay for all the evil things you’ve done!” Goku’s blonde hair flared in the breeze as he prepared himself to attack.

“You’ve taken everything from me! I can’t rest unless I know you’re dead!” Trunks formed a blade out of ki to wield.

“AGHHHH!!!!!!” Gohan’s hair briefly flared between black and golden.

“So, this is the guy who killed you guys. Why does he look like Son Goku?” Lapis questioned.

“I don’t have any data on him… He’s not Goku’s relative.” Lazuli stated.

“He’s a bad dude! A real bad dude!” Yamcha explained for the two.

“An utter monster hell-bent on conquering the entire universe! Even the afterlife isn’t safe from him!” Krillin added.

“Quit talking about my Daddy!” Stella hopped off of Turles and began charging up in anger.

“Your daddy’s a bad guy, kid. And we’re gonna take him down. Just like we did to that lady before.” Yajirobe wielded his sword prepared for battle.

“You’re the jerks that hurt my mom?!” Bon’s power began to charge the wind around them.

Her aura, initially light purple, began to transform into a vibrant and sparking dark pink. Her bloody eyes blazed with newfound intensity, and her hair spiked up like that of a Super Saiyan. Her small frame grew exponentially in size, with her muscles bulging and her height increasing significantly. Her aura radiated pressure, commanding attention and respect. This was Bon, channeling the power of a Great Ape in her human form!

“So, this is Turles and his children,” Tien explained for everyone as he also realized this.

“The mother of my children was injured here. My children wanted to meet the ones responsible for injuring their mother. I’m just here to watch over them and ensure they express their emotions healthily and efficiently as Saiyan children. Don’t mind me.” Turles greeted his conquered foes.

“RAAAHHHH!” Trunks rushed forward to slice Turles in half, taking no mind of the children around him.

Just as he flew over Bon’s head, she thrust her fist into the air as a red aura cloaked her entire body, landing a devastating blow on the Super Saiyan. Bon’s rising fist sent the enraged future half-Saiyan far into the sky. Her fist violently shook as she felt the effects of pushing Kaio-ken beyond what she could normally handle for even just a moment. Using Spirit Control, Bon healed the destroyed muscles in her arm as she turned to the others.

Turles was a bit dumbfounded. Was Trunks really that weak? He was stronger than the other Z-Fighters, excluding Goku and the Androids, and his daughter managed to defeat him with one hit? Sure, he wasn’t expecting it, but just how high did she raise the Kaio-ken multiplier?

“Unlike my sister, I didn’t come here for revenge on behalf of my mother,” Basil stated clearly. “I just wish to know who was responsible for it and ask why you did it.” He explained.

“And if I say it was me?” Lapis pointed at himself with a smirk.

“Can you explain why you did so?” Basil looked up at the older boy.

“I was bored and wanted to have some fun with the old lady trying to conquer Heaven. Is that good enough of an explanation for you, kid?” Lapis walked over to Basil, standing over him.

“I can understand that.” Basil acknowledged as he placed his glasses within his armor. “My family are not good people, me included. However, that doesn’t mean we can allow people to treat our family however they please. As the strongest family in the universe, we have a reputation to uphold. So, before we begin, I’m just letting you know that this is not personal for me. My sisters… have their own feelings on the matter.” Basil briefly glanced at his sisters, going wild against Goku’s friends.

“You’re a real dork, huh, kid?” Lapis mocked.

“Father has stated that I am smart for my age.” Basil took it as a compliment. “Perhaps too smart at times.” He muttered that second part.

“Are you planning to fight me or bore me to death?” Lapis even allowed the kid to get the first punch.

“Father said I should have more than enough S-Cells due to the Fruit of Might,” Basil muttered as he clenched his fist. “I just need to find the right method of transforming by focusing my energy somewhere in my back.” Basil began charging up.

To aid in his process of unlocking the transformation, he channeled the feelings present within him when he saw his mother’s injured visage in the healing tank. As he focused, he didn’t realize the surroundings were beginning to change as he channeled his energy.
