King Cold was placed in a separate healing tank after being defeated by Turles. The stunned expressions of the soldiers were a delight to see. Him carefully carrying King Cold’s giant body through the halls, with everyone nearly fainting out of shock. He couldn’t help but laugh.
Stepping out of the medical room, Turles was confronted by some people of considerable status within the Frieza Force. He was surprised to see them traveling together. It wasn’t his first time seeing one of them, but the other was a wealth of knowledge he couldn’t pass up. The little yellow alien would soon be one of his best friends. His contribution to the Frieza Force was invaluable.
“Captain Turles, I come to give my thanks for saving Lord Frieza. You may not know, but I’ve served as his nanny ever since he was a little child. My name is Berryblue.” Berryblue introduced herself as she gestured two soldiers forward carrying a suitcase.
The two soldiers opened up the case in front of Turles while shaking. Turles wasn’t recklessly wasting his ki, so they shouldn’t be shaking from his battle power. It must be his reputation that these two have heard of. He laughed as he patted the two on the shoulder. “Relax, soldiers. I’m not going to tear you apart for simply doing your jobs. Trust me, I’m much more reasonable than the rumors suggest.” Turles gratefully accepted the suitcase full of intergalactic money.
“Thank you, Advisor Berryblue. I was simply doing my duty as a member of the Planet Trade Organization.” Turles gave a polite bow.
“Oh, I heard rumors of your behavior, but I’m still shocked to see a Saiyan with humility and a sense of manners.” She had a small smile on her face.
“Ah, I try my best to show that not all Saiyans are alike,” Turles responded.
“I would surely hope not. After all, apparently, it was a Saiyan that had placed Lord Frieza into his current predicament.” Berryblue shared with him.
“Ah, I was meaning to hear about that. My squad and I were rather far away in the universe. It took us a long while to get to Planet Namek. Unfortunately, the planet was already reduced to space chunks by the time we arrived. For the time being, I decided to retrieve Lord Frieza’s body while sending them off to a nearby planet. Can you explain to me what happened on Namek?” Turles requested.
“Very well. Follow me.” Berryblue led him through the halls of the building.
“H-Hello, Captain Turles… My name is Kikono, and I’m a scientist on the ship.” The little yellow alien stuttered. “I’ve been meaning to ask you this for a long time, but I’ve never been able to get an answer from you or any of your crew. What modifications have you made to your scouters and spaceship?”
Turles grinned as he looked down at Kikono with his modified scouter. “Do you know of Naba the Operator?” Turles asked. “I’m aware she was one of our engineers you added to your squad. However, beyond that, I know nothing of her.” Kikono responded.
“She was the one to make improvements to our equipment. You see, before my crew and I, the Planet Trade Organization only controlled around 70% of the universe. Beyond that was uncharted territory. No planets under Frieza’s control to stop by and repair our equipment. So, we had to settle for alternative means lest we wanted to be stranded out in space. We bartered with technologically advanced planets, and it just so happens they were always willing to share their knowledge with our engineer, Naba. Naba used her knowledge to help fix up our tech.” Turles explained.
“Is this Operator really that talented? Why have I never heard of her before if she had such capable skills?” Kikono wondered aloud.
“Field experience can change people for the better.” Turles lazily explained.
“It certainly worked well for you, Captain Turles,” Berryblue smirked. “Before you left, you were considered equals with Captain Ginyu of the now-deceased Ginyu Force. Now you are capable of defeating King Cold. It's unbelievable the amount of progress you are making.” She brought him to an isolated room.

“I trained hard.” Turles proudly responded.
“Is it possible you’re the super saiyan of legends that was always spoken about amongst the Saiyans?” Kikono questioned.
“Haha, no, that isn’t me.” Turles loudly laughed, unknowingly easing both Berryblue and Kikono’s tension. “I’m just a regular Saiyan that got luckier than most, along with having a little bit more sense.” He explained.
Berryblue began to explain what went down on the Planet Namek Invasion after going through all of the scouter audio recordings. Vegeta betrayed the Frieza Force. General Zarbon, Dodoria, the Ginyu Force, and nearly Lord Frieza lost their lives to the traitor Vegeta and some race of beings called Earthlings. Turles acted like the loyal soldier he was with rage, indignation, and regret at not being able to arrive in time.
“So, should I head to Earth to prepare it for Lord Frieza?” Turles asked Berryblue.
“I would if I didn’t know Lord Frieza so well. He will be wanting to deal with something like this personally. For now, I’d recommend being on standby until Lord Frieza recovers. My only wish is that you ensure something like this doesn’t happen to Lord Frieza again.” Berryblue politely requested.
“I will do my utmost.” Turles gave a curt bow.
After that, Berryblue left, giving Turles and Kikono the opportunity to discuss the kind of modification Naba made to their equipment. Turles told him that he would only do so if he allowed him to touch his head for a few moments. Kikono stuttered and stammered once this request came out of Turles’s mouth. He didn’t understand, and Turles didn’t plan on explaining either. Turles simply smiled while giving him time to decide.
“B-B-But why… Captain Turles…?” Kikono repeated again.
He would get no answer from Turles. It was his decision to make here. If he wanted information about their modified tech, he needed to let Turles touch his head. Kikono shyly covered his antennas like a shy virgin beauty. “Please don’t touch the antennas, Captain Turles…” He blushed, and Turles was feeling a little bit awkward about this now.
But he’s already come this far. No need to let a little awkwardness prevent him from stealing the knowledge of one of the Planet Trade Organization’s brightest minds. This man was a brilliant scientist who created scouters, spaceships, and battle armor for the Frieza Force. The wealth of information hiding in his little noggin will be priceless in due time.
Turles didn’t hesitate to delve into the mind of the Planet Trade Organization’s top scientist. Everything he’s ever worked on, thought about, or studied was memorized by Turles. This guy has been serving since the Cold Force, just like Berryblue. A lot of good information about the things that were done by the scientist team in the Frieza Force also found itself in Turles’s brain.
“Thank you. Here’s Naba’s personal code.” Turles shared Naba’s communication code with Kikono.
He’s already told his team the story that they had to say to the Frieza Force when Frieza rang him up on Planet Yardrat. So, he wasn’t worried about his lie about being too far from Planet Namek coming to light. It wasn’t like they could track their movements or audio after Naba’s modifications. Turles would, of course, enable those again once he’s formally in a superior administrative position. Information was power, after all.
…
Turles used his time well, waiting to be called on by King Cold and Lord Frieza. He created a morning training schedule for the soldiers that filled up several medical machines throughout the planet. The thought of wanting to do more filled his head, but he didn’t want to cause Frieza to think that he was preparing to usurp him or something. It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say that the Super Saiyan of Legends left Lord Frieza more than a little traumatized. After all, it was his first time being defeated and nearly killed.
Turles completely expected Frieza to attempt to kill him in a fit of rage and fear once he saw him. His face was completely identical to Kakarot’s. Hopefully, if things go to plan, Lord Frieza will see reason and spare him. Although if things didn’t, Turles didn’t mind temporarily taking control over the Frieza Force while Frieza cooled off in Hell.
This was a critical stage in his plans to take over the multiverse. An integral part that couldn’t be done without fulfilling it. Turles refused to let Frieza’s short-mindedness and fatal flaws ruin that, even if he had to kill him personally.
If the fool somehow won against Kakarot and destroyed Earth, Zeno would still have wiped out their universe after taking a look at it. Universe 7 was a miserable pile of trash in comparison to the rest of the universes. Turles was already thinking of several ways of fixing this. It was up to Lord Frieza if he wanted to become a part of that solution or the problem.
