An unexpected disruption was about to occur in the tranquil realm of Heaven, where vibrant flowers swayed under an eternal azure sky and gentle zephyrs whispered secrets among the heavenly bodies. This paradisiacal place, usually reserved for souls whose deeds had been deemed worthy but not heroic enough to retain their bodies, was soon to witness the arrival of an uninvited guest.
Amidst the serenity, a soft humming sound resonated, faint at first but steadily growing louder. The melodious notes seemed to ripple through the very fabric of Heaven itself. Souls who had peacefully rested for eons or seconds exchanged peacefully with each other. Chatting, playing, or doing other activities.
And then, with a silent pop that caught little attention, Bonyu, the intelligent and tactical fighter of the Crusher Force materialized in the midst of Heaven with many, many others. Her sudden appearance was an anomaly in a realm where souls typically arrived through more conventional means. It was also completely against the rules as she had no halo or ghostly body.
Bonyu's entrance into Heaven was a testament to her ignoring the rules of Otherworld, defying the usual restrictions of the afterlife. Her control over ki and mastery of the Instant Transmission technique allowed her to traverse the boundaries between realms at will. As she gracefully touched down on the flower-strewn ground, Bonyu glanced around Heaven with a calculating expression. Her light red skin stood out against the backdrop of the vibrant flora, and her long white ponytail cascaded like a shimmering twisted waterfall down her back.
Intrigued by her presence, the souls of Heaven, many of whom bore ghostly tails as a symbol of their ethereal existence, began to gather around, their incorporeal forms tinged with curiosity and mild apprehension. Bonyu, known for her no-nonsense approach to combat and tactical thinking, had a mission to accomplish. The reason for her audacious intrusion into this ethereal paradise was clear—she had come to establish a presence for the Planet Trade Organization on this planet.
Bonyu's intent was to build an academy here, a place where the departed souls with untapped fighting potential would be given a choice—join the ranks of the Planet Trade Organization or face annihilation from both the living and the realms of the afterlife. As Bonyu took her first steps on this celestial plane, her scouter pinged at her with several high power levels. Multiple surpassing the max range of the scouter’s limit. This was a good sign—students with high potential for their academy.
Bonyu was surprised to see several fighters appearing in front of her with enraged expressions as the Construction Force got to work behind her. From what she could sense, they weren’t insignificant dead souls, either. Perhaps it would be smarter to retreat. While Bonyu was confident in her strength, the power of the enraged golden-haired Goku staring at her was enough to make her reconsider that. She took a deep breath as she decided to confront the group.
“Greetings, souls in the afterlife. How can I help you all?” Bonyu politely greeted. “My name is Bonyu. Commander of the Planet Trade Organization.” She decided to use diplomacy since force might not be the correct route here.
“Leave now.” Goku didn’t seem as accommodating as he once was on Planet Yardrat.
“Have I done something wrong to deserve your anger, Goku? I believe we parted on quite good terms.” Bonyu wasn’t stupid. She heard of Turles conquering Earth, the home of the Earthlings who nearly killed the late Lord Frieza.
Goku gritted his teeth as his inherently kind-hearted nature made him hesitate. Bonyu, the mother of Turles’s children, wasn’t at fault for something that Turles did. He couldn’t imagine someone going after Chi-Chi because of something he himself did. It wasn’t like she was going around blowing up the planet or hurting the innocent souls in Heaven, either. She was just watching over the soldiers building something on the planet.
“Goku! Whatever she has planned can’t be good!” Krillin argued.
“Krillin is right, Dad! They still work for Turles!” Gohan was furious just looking at their armor, his battle power clocking in at 99,999+ on Bonyu’s scouter.
If you spot this tale on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation.
“We should just deal with her now! Anyone working for that evil Saiyan can’t be a good person!” Tien clenched his fist with enough force to draw blood.
“They don’t even have halos or ghost tails! They’re obviously trying to conquer Heaven, too!” Yamcha shouted.
“If those bastards are with the same guy that killed me while on Korin’s Tower, they don’t deserve mercy!” Yajirobe unsheathed his sword.
“I’m inclined to agree.” Master Roshi nodded. “Not everyone can be saved or should be saved, my student.”
“Bonyu! Do you plan to hurt anyone or take over this planet!?” Goku asked her straight up.
“I vow not to lay a hand on anyone while I’m here. If I do, you all can stop me in my tracks. Feel free to stay and watch as we finish building here.” Bonyu could tell that she was outgunned here.
It wasn’t wise to try and solve things through violence here when she wasn’t sure she could win with that plan. Besides, there wasn’t any reason why she had to subjugate Heaven through violence. Just getting this academy up and running was good enough. Her mission was to get the school built, help get it running, and, once that was done, temporarily serve as a teacher for the new potential recruits until she received a mission from Mission Control.
So now Bonyu had quite a crowd of dead souls surrounding her as she watched over the construction of Heaven’s Academy. It wasn’t pleasant, but it was better than the alternative. Fighting this large group of dead souls whose strength could match or exceed her own didn’t sound fun in the slightest. Unlike the Captain, Bonyu didn’t have a fondness for fighting while handicapped.
“I still think we should stop this,” Krillin grumbled.
“Why would you stop a school from being built?” Bonyu questioned innocently.
“What kind of school is it?” Gohan couldn’t successfully place his anger against Turles onto Bonyu.
“All of the dead souls in Heaven can enroll in this school. However, whether or not you can stay enrolled is up to the students themselves. Heaven’s Academy has strict requirements for graduation and continued enrollment for its students. During the first year, you’ll see whether or not you’re determined enough to continue as a student.” Bonyu explained to the child Earthling.
“Why would someone as evil as Turles be building a school?” Tien glared at the woman.
“We’re building academies across the universe to nurture new members of the Planet Trade Organization. Soldiers, scientists, engineers, builders, farmers, teachers, wizards and witches, pretty much anything. If you got talent, there’s a place for you in the Planet Trade Organization.” Bonyu wisely decided not to call it the Turles Force.
“Goku! They’re literally recruiting people to make themselves more powerful!” Yamcha pointed at Bonyu and the Construction Force.
"Every organization endeavors to augment its workforce. Under our new leadership, we have recognized that achieving dominion over the entire universe necessitates a substantially larger contingent of adept soldiers than our current capacity allows. Consequently, with a focus on fostering future growth, we are initiating proactive measures to mitigate potential challenges preemptively. It stands to reason, would you not concur? The investment of effort in the present moment promises the prospect of a more prosperous future ahead." Bonyu calmly explained.

Future Trunks' rage was a tempest of emotions that had been building for months. He had traveled through time to change the fate of his own world, to prevent the devastation caused by the Androids. But as he stood in the serene realm of Heaven, facing Bonyu, a representative of the very man responsible for his death, the weight of his failures and the injustice of his situation bore down upon him.
He clenched his fists, his knuckles whitening with the intensity of his emotions. "It's not supposed to be like this," he seethed through gritted teeth, his voice trembling with anguish. "I wasn't supposed to be here, in this time, in this place. Turles wasn't supposed to take everything from me." Future Trunks had embarked on his time-traveling journey with a sense of hope and purpose, determined to change the course of history for the better. But the reality he faced was a stark contrast to his dreams. In his own time, the Androids had run rampant, and he had been powerless to stop them. And now, in this unfamiliar era, he was trapped in the afterlife while the Androids terrorized his home.
The injustice of it all fueled his rage, and he directed that rage at Bonyu, the embodiment of the organization that had caused him so much pain. He exploded with all of that built-up rage. Trunks turned into a super saiyan. A super saiyan filled with nothing but rage as he charged at Bonyu. The sound barrier shattered from the force of Trunks's mad dash.
