"Silas." Silas was inside Association Chairman Hargrave's office.

"Yes, sir?"

"Be at ease. Just need your help with something. There's four individuals rolling around into town this week. I'd like to ask if you can have your Familiars be their bodyguards? They've got different schedules and as much as I turn down such a request the issue is that they've got criminal groups with Hunters. You'd be surprised how dangerous the entertainment industry can be." Hargrave said, showing Silas the documents.

"My Familiars are human, so they'll do fine. I'll prepare them." Silas said as he looked at the documents. Seeing the schedules and the threat level assessment.

'Eun Jung'. An actress that hails from the Plum Blossom Republic. Her schedule has her busy doing movie scenes and a few interviews. The threats against her are mainly long ranged combatants. Viking 13 would be good. Despite being part of the Daemon's Punishers. He's still an excellent marksman.

'Stella F. Renault.' A CEO of a multi billion dollar corperation that's in charge of making Hunter equipment by the Associations. Her threats were mainly close range assassination attempts. Best if he put Ace here.

'Cindy Holloway' A teenage singer who's singing has gotten her world wide recognition. She recently awakened as a Hunter and for this... Perhaps Vizel can do this considering their age. Her threats were mainly her behavior in the dungeons.

Lastly 'Amber Ivory' a prodigy maestro whose renditions of various songs have garnered her world wide fame. She turned even 8-bit music into something orchestra worthy. Azure Resound would do better with how he behaves and music may suit him considering he is called the Azure Resound of the Ensemble.

"I've got my list prepared. Ace, Viking 13, Vizel, Azure Resound. Can you guys come up here?" The four Familiars appeared before Silas.

"You'll be doing bodyguard duty for some celebrities. Expect a tight schedule and a lot of tediousness. Here's the documents. To do this mission, you'll be wearing in a special suit. Something similar to mine and also your weapons will be stored in the gloves. Azure, I think you know how this works?" Silas pointed to the gloves that he wore.

"Yeah yeah. They'll get the hang of it. So it won't be an issue." The four of them changed their clothes. Viking 13's face had a lot of scars contrasting Azure Resound's flawless face. Ace had some scars over his face, just scars over his neck and cheeks. Vizel had flawless skin and even flawless hair that was resting by his shoulders.

"Alright. Good luck." Silas said as he snapped his fingers to send the four of them to the airport.

"I'm not familiar with bodyguard jobs." Ace said.

"It's not that complicated. Protect the client from any potential threats. We're mainly focusing on Hunters." Azure Resound said, where he opened his hand as a karambit appeared to his hand. Ace pulled out a pistol and then he let go off the pistol watching it vanish before his eyes.

"This is convenient for covert ops. Does it work with armor?"

"Nope. Besides the suits we're wearing? They're tailored like the Lord's. He must have had this made during that one visit to Bellwitch. Now come on let's go greet our client." Azure Resound said as the four of them walked on through the crowd. The appearance of 4 handsome individuals had caught the eyes of many. Reaching Association members who passed them the signboards.

Eun Jung was the first to arrive, glancing over at Viking 13. Jeans, sneakers and a sweatshirt, trying to keep herself hidden with the shades and the cap. Along with the face mask, 13 read the report. Overbearing fans and stalkers. What's new?

"Hi.. So are you my bodyguard for the week?"

"Yes. Just call me 13."

"13 as in the number? That's odd?"

"I don't have a name. It's what I've been called from when I was born."Eun Jung was trying to process what he had just said, but 13 turned his back on her. Now beginning his duty as a bodyguard.

"Your schedule for the day requires you to head to the hotel first. Shall we?" Eun Jung nodded, following 13 from behind. Leading her on as he noticed a few phones that were aimed at them. Eun Jung noticed it and she was about to speak only to see them snap repeatedly. Groaning at the photo.

"Their cameras will only see you as a cloud of smoke. It's convenient. So don't worry." Eun Jung let out a sigh of relief, she followed 13 out the door where she watched 13 check the car. Just tapping it , no bombs or any issues. They stepped into the car. Beginning their first day.

Stella F. Renault made her step with her group of bodyguards, wearing her fur coat. Looking at Ace.

"So you're the one from the association?" Scanning him top to bottom, but when they locked eyes. She just kept staring at his glowing blue eyes.

"I hope you can keep up with my schedule." Pushing her hand bag to his chest. Ace grabbed it, keeping himself quiet. Following Stella from behind, the other bodyguards were also Hunters so why was Ace needed?

Vizel was waiting on Cindy Holloway, who came down as fans began parading around the area. She had her own bodyguards, other Hunters on standby who were trying to keep them away from her. She spent some of her time to take photos, signatures and other things. Vizel turned to Azure Resound who just shrugged his shoulders.

"That is what a celebrity is. She's young and she's famous. She must be enjoying all the attention that she has." Azure Resound said as Vizel put his hand to his chin,trying to understand what a celebrity is.

"What is a celebrity? I did not have those in my world. Only war heroes." Vizel said as he stood in front of Cindy who looked at the sign.

"Oh you're my bodyguard! I've got a dungeon to go later! So you'll be coming right?"

"I suppose? My job is as your bodyguard, Miss Holloway." Cindy showed her pearly whites, the light reflected from her teeth had Vizel squinting his eyes because of the intensity from it.

"Ah... Sorry, I'm a Rune Songstress. It seems I've been using a few spells by accident. Still trying to get used to it tho, sorry!" Vizel could only scratch his head and nod as he followed Cindy's group to the cars that were waiting for them.

Leaving Azure Resound alone waiting for the maestro, only to hear a choir and a melody came from elsewhere. This just meant that Azure Resound was wasting his time here, following the harmony that was calling him. Azure Resound found the lady taking the lead. The harmony was beautiful and Azure Resound was enjoying the melody. The woman who was leading it had a pixie cut, smiling as she controlled the choir and the orchestra. A perfect harmony of sounds, the strings were light and the heavy hitting trumpets were taking their time to build up to the climax.

Azure Resound looked at Amber Ivory who ended her performance, turning around to bow to everyone else.

"Ah. Are you my bodyguard?"

"Yes. I'm your bodyguard. Just call me Azure."

"Okay Azure. Then shall we?" Azure Resound followed Amber out from behind.

Ace was now standing outside of the room. Standing with a few Hunters who were also bodyguards.

"So you're a Hunter?" One of them asked.

"No. I'm part of the SDU. A Familiar."

"Never seen a familiar like you before. You're very human."

"Is it that surprising?"

"Yeah. Most of the Familiars I see don't look human at all." Ace was unsure of what to say but he was going to keep his thoughts to himself. The meeting was over, where Stella let out a sigh.

"This was a waste of time. Those idiots have caused us millions. What's next on my schedule Bob?" The leading bodyguard showed the next schedule.

"A date with my fiancee? Ah, I abhor him. Such an annoying figure." Stella bellowed as she ripped the paper apart.

"He's already here and awaiting at the training hall.. It seems he wants to have some of his guards join ours because he deems most of us to be... Weak." Stella looked at Ace.

"How well can you fight?"

"I squared off against the Grand Paladin of Faith of the Guardians. He was an interesting foe." Ace's answer had the others surprised.

"I did hear he called for the Grand Paladin himself to this bout." Ace smiled at hearing that. A rematch. Because previously they had to stop the fight. Now, another battle? This was getting good. Arriving at the training hall, where Ace could see Loren who was talking to the man.

"Ah. Ace. It's good to see you." Loren greeted, catching the other people in the hall by surprise. Just how were they acquainted?

"So I guess we're going to go for another duel. I'm excited, Loren." Loren chuckled.

"I thought it was overkill to have me join the guards for my idiot cousin. If you're here then there's no need for me to hold back now can I?" To which they see a portal opening up, where they see an angel walking into view.

"Ah. Are you Ace?"

"That's me." The angel walked on over with his wings folded to his back, holding a large briefcase.

"This is a new weapon set that Bellwitch had given. The Reaper Rifle mark 13 and the armor known as the Dragon Reaper armor." The briefcase opened up where Ace could see the helmet that was designed to cover the entire head with a dragon skull motif. The other parts of the armor was designed to Ace's old Crimson Reaver gear.Ace took off his tie and shirt. Then putting on the armor.

"How's the fitting?" the angel asked as Ace touched his butt.

"It's a little tight at the back crotch." Ace pointed out as the angel raised her hand where they heard Ace let out a sigh of relief.

"That's better."

"Now, enjoy your fight. I will head back now." the angel vanished as Ace looked at Loren, grabbing the rifle. Grinning as he thought about this fight. Ace had always hated leaving things unsettled but this time? He's going to get another shot at Loren with no one stopping them.

Loren had the four metal arms and the six swords floating around him. Readying the fan while Ace was making sure the Reaper Rifle's blade was in pristine condition.

"How strong are these walls?"

"They've taken hits from S-Ranks like yourself Loren. Is that an issue?" Stella was inquiring where Loren and Ace stepped onto the sparring grounds.

"Set barriers to maximum level. This is a fight between with an S-Rank!"

"Make that two S-ranks." Loren informed as the barrier was made around them. Ace swapped to another Reaper Rifle, the one he used earlier in their duel.

"Begin!" Ace fired his rifle at the metal hands that surrounded Loren, as Loren unleashed his swords upon Ace. Ace swapped to blade mode as he parried the first five away. The last one was coming at him at high speed, parrying it away. Only to see Loren with his closed metal fan thrusting at Ace's chest. Ace took the blow with his left palm, then kicking Loren back. Loren skid back 20 steps away, where Ace then readied a revolver. Fanning the hammer to fire off 6 shots that pushed Loren back even further. He stopped the bullets with a barrier of light.

A fast one handed reload as Ace threw the speed loader above, pulling the ejection rod as the spent bullets fly out. The speed loader entered the chamber as Ace closed the chamber back as his thumb pulled the hammer back. Holstering it as Loren went at him, creating 10 copies of himself. Circling Ace as he went to strike at Ace, Ace's Azterian Glare was enough to cause the real Loren to back off. Seeing the other copies strike Ace.

'Skill activated ; Reaper's Radiance' Ace roared at Loren who countered it back with a howl.

'Skill activated : Golden Paladin's Howl.' The two voices resonated as the barrier began to crack. When the voices died down, they charged at each other. A dragon against a wolf.

'Skill Activated : Dragon's High.'

'Skill Activated : Wolf of Faith's Howl' Ace's roar was that of a dragon while Loren's howl was trying to overwhelm each other. Their weapons clashed. Sparks ensued, little sparks that was adding to this fight. It was the dance between the Grim Reaper and humanity's faithful protector. The fight was oozing with their elements that kept on clashing.

The White and Red Rose of Slaughter, a being that transcended reason. Only violence was needed, as Ace's attacks intensified pushing Loren back. Loren's faith was strong, pushing Ace back with just a howl. Ace took the hit but that didn't mean much as he threw a jab at Loren that pushed Loren back. They traded blows as Loren and Ace's fist crashed into each other.

The impact? It shattered the defensive barrier, like two trains colliding into each other. A heavy cloud of smoke engulfed the area as Loren was on his knees.

"Was that you at your best?" Loren asked.

"I'm used to fighting demons the size of buildings. You're a lot tougher than most." Ace helped Loren back on his feet. The shock was enough for Stella and the others. Just how powerful was Ace to bring down the Guardian's Guild Leader. The Grand Paladin of Faith?

"I suppose this ends the marriage talk. Shouldn't it. Ace, is it possible for me to hire you full time?" Ace shook his head.

"Thanks for the fight Loren. It made me realize I'm still naive."

"In what way, Ace?"

"I'm used to fighting demons. Never against humans and in this world there's a lot of things. That I.." Ace paused as he looked at a screen popping up in front of him.

'As the last 5 Crimson Reavers in existence, do you consent to allowing Hunters to learn the arts of the Crimson Reavers?'

"Lord?" Ace spoke in telepathy to Silas.

"Yes, I have seen it. What do you think Ace? It might be a good chance to rebuild your team. But they won't be familiars and this will change your job. You won't just have to serve me, you'll be able to live the life as a Human not as a Familiar." Silas said.

"Then I."

"It is your decision Ace. You and your team. This is not about being a Familiar to the Lord of Thorns. This is about you making a decision for yourself. By becoming human, you will experience a lot more things than before. And it seems the system has started showing me that all of my human Familiars can now take on Disciples. If I were to recommend you to someone. The way you fight might be more Beneficial for Bradley's group." Silas spoke his thoughts directly to Ace's head.

By becoming the Progenitor of a Hunter Class.

-Hunters may only receive your training.

-Hunters may only find a person to train if they have reached Master Reavers

-The title of Crimson Reaper is exclusive to the 5 Crimson Reaper members.

-Reavers fight using Reaver Rifles that alternate between sword and rifle mode.

-Hunters can only accept your training if the Crimson Reapers agree on a trial mission for them to qualify.

Hunters will be notified.

There are many classes in this world that have been trained by Familiars of many realms.

There can be new classes designed by the Crimson Reapers.

Classes include

Blade Reaver- Only bladed weapons, focusing on crowd control and taking on enemies at the front lines.

Storm Reaver- Combining mastery of both Reaver and Lightning mage techniques into one.

Dueler Reaver- Attacks enemies with high HP as a combat doctrine. Focuses on strong enemies first.

Spell Reaver - Spellblade class transcending to Reaver.

Colourless Reaver : Fourth Rank.

Colourless Reaver Veteran : Fifth Rank.

Coloured Reaver : Sixth Rank.

To be the Master Reaver, one must defeat the progenitor Crimson Reaper in combat.

Progenitor's skills are different. The Lord of Thorns has given names to the other Crimson Reapers.

Ace - Aggression focus, tank with high damage potential.

Valten- Cunning, uses gadgets to break line of sight or to stun enemies.

Iruka- Defensive Focus, focuses on precision strikes to ward off enemies.

Rex - Full Tank build,aggroes enemies to take on the damage.

Webber- The balanced among all the four Progenitors.

New skill for the Reaver class.

Dominator : Dominator is a skill that increases combat potential by 200%. Drawback, when using this. For the next 3 minutes, Reaver will have high power but once the 3 minutes are up. The Reaver will fall to a state of staggered for next 90 seconds and cannot be moved.

Cool down will last when the staggered is over.

The Dominator can be trained to increase limit and decrease the state of staggered.

However, the training will involve using a Dominator against a Crimson Reaper.

Aggression Meter

When aggression meter hits zero, Reavers lose attack power. They have to keep fighting for as long as they can and cannot back away from fights unless a tactical approach is used. The longer a Reaver fights, the better their stats will be increased. Basic Aggression caps at 200% which grants a 50% bonus to all stats.

"What do you guys think?" Ace asked.

"Hey, more Reavers means we get to build up our old unit back. I'm fine with it. I guess Webber has to start training them for their fundamentals then won't he?" Valten chuckled in the telepathic communication where as Webber let out a sigh.

"Can't mess up the fundamentals.If they had you four assholes teaching them. They'd prolly be dead in a ditch. At least we get to see if they're worthy. I'll handle the training. Seems like Victor 91 is here with me at the Association." Ace turned over to Stella.

"I still have a week's worth of duty as your bodyguard. So.. What's next?" Stella smiled as she showed him the list. Ace read it and he just realized that the only time this woman's ever not doing anything. Is if she was asleep. She only takes a 10 minute lunch before she gets back to work.

"I hope you can keep up." Stella said where Ace could see the other bodyguards and the Hunters just letting out a sigh. Patting Ace's back was Loren.

"Good luck."

"Thanks. I guess." Ace continued on.
