These guys were different, because Joshua realized that they were an actual military force and with the addition of Vizel along with Ferno that has been powered up roperly. Joshua had a strong army, though he wondered if challenging the Avatar of Destruction was wise.
"Even with the addition of such allies. I will say that it will not be a good endeavour, My lord. The Avatar of Destruction would destroy your familiars." Raizel did have a point, Joshua was wondering how much further did he need to go? He still has the stat points for reaching Level 100. He had no idea when to use them. For now his stats are fine, he can put them aside for now. He shouldn't rush into things. So far, his familiars and the others have been able to push him through a lot of fights.
Now, Joshua headed out. Today was going to be a chill day, he had a few long and tiring days. So he headed to the Trade Spire. Seeing Esyn standing there where Lugasa formed out.
"I'm gonna spend some time with my grand daughter. You guys go on ahead." Joshua passed a wallet to him.
"Get her something nice." Joshua said where Lugasa nodded, heading into the world of Melvoris. Joshua could see that business was bustling, people were showing their wares. Venerators of every rank were present, taking a look at the dwarven made swords, elven made bows and equipment.
Quite a few faces, the Resource Worker Carla and her just came back. They explained that a trade spire was a lot more docile. Most wild animals move away when humans are nearby. Non-human races generally keep their distance from Venerators. Though the Bahamut Empire has been the most hospitable and runs the trade routes. Joshua could see the money fill up his screen. It had only been operating for maybe a week or two, but he had earned quite a bit of money to spend.
Then Joshua noticed Alpha 1, the General and some of the Assault Works members with their family. Joshua gave a short greeting, and seeing the General pushing the pram with his grand child in it was an interesting sight. The man was as grizzled as veterans go but he was a family man at heart. Akin to a grizzly bear. Alpha 1 had his daughter up on his shoulders. It was not much but Joshua could see a new Venerator or as the folks here call it. Hero Guild. It was where Heroes could take on easy jobs to earn some gold coins. Which when brought to Earth would be good things to sell. It helped with a lot of the weaker players who needed to get better gear but lacked a budget.
Joshua never didn't go to any weapon shop as a result of his current situation. He already had the good blades to use in a fight, he had the equipment he needed. Though now, what was convenient was Joshua had taken the time to try out things such as adding binoculars and scopes to his Mask of Thorns. It basically gives Joshua the ability to measure distances accurately and if he used a weapon it will show the distance of effectiveness. Getting nightvision and thermal vision goggles gave additional things to add on. Where Joshua now has 4 pieces of optics sticking upwards as a result, along with the gas masks sticking out. Seemingly that is permanent. He didn't need to change the filters either.
Convenient was one thing but Joshua was thinking of taking it easy. So he's not going to go do a serious spire mission, maybe go for a Resource Worker job. Joshua headed back out, where Lugasa was just enjoying some steaks with his grand daughter.
"I'm going to look for a job. So take your time." Lugasa nodded, as Joshua headed to the Union. Looking at the new job requests. One posted by a group of B-Ranks. They need a Resource Worker for a heavy job. Seems that Joshua could see numerous Resource Workers that were saying no to it because it's a B-Ranked Spire. So Joshua made the phone call to inquire.
"Yeah. We're looking for a Resource Worker to help carry some of our camping gear. It's a B-Ranked Spire, Red spire. So we're a bit more careful. You okay with that?"
"Well I just have to carry your stuff right? Then we should be fine." Joshua said.
"Great. We're currently waiting at the Spire that is near downtown of Coasterika." Joshua hung up and made his way there. Where Zephyr came from below him. The good thing about riding this horse, Joshua didn't have to worry about speed limit. He could just stroll through the path, though some people were intimidated with how the horse looked. Zephyr was a Spectral Horse after all, it was obvious why some people would feel uncomfortable with the horse's pressence. Yet they could never take their eyes off its majestic colours.
Arriving at downtown Coasterika, which was near the port. There were a lot of reporters that kept watching. Joshua saw the logo of a titan holding a sphere, this was team Atlas. One of the many teams that was a subsidiary of the Blade Sanctuary. Part of their B-ranked teams. Joshua went over to look at their pack. They were clad in armor, with a few magic type users. They glanced at Joshua who seemed scrawny. There were a few snickers at Joshua's direction.
"Oh, you're Joshua right? I'm Marco. Atlas Team Leader. We've got a lot for our gear. It's a B-Ranked Spire so there may be more to it than meets the eye. So that's our gear." Jack was a Paladin of Faith. A warrior/priest hybrid. Priests that increase the power of others by keeping their morale up, and warriors that fight on the front line. Paladins of Faith buffs his team and amplifies their attacks. Jack was friendly even shaking Joshua's hand, then pointing at the pack. It was a lot of stuff, but Joshua had a friend to carry it. Zephyr appeared from below, as Joshua grabbed what he could and put it on Zepphyr's sides, allowing it to carry more items. Joshua grabbed the reins gently, bringing the horse closer to them.
"Whoa.. Well. I guess we don't have to worry about his equipment." Jack turned to the others, as they stepped into the Spire's Gates.
What kind of world will it be?
