Jensen and Silas were elsewhere, in a dimension that was an empty stage. The two of them were clashing with their blades. Not speaking to each other as they kept on fighting. Their weapons spoke of their thoughts, both of them were wearing masks. Jensen's mask had covered the entire head where as Silas's only covered his entire face. Both of them were skeletal theme and their outfits were different.
Jensen's all white against Silas's all black. Contrasting twins whose blades had different effects. Jensen's darkness in one hand, light elemental in the other. Going against Silas's multi elemental strikes were evening each other out. Strength wise Jensen was lacking, but it did not mean he was weak. The change to the Keeper class had granted a boost in his elemental prowess, able to cast magical spears of light and darkness with just his very thought. Blinking once as the spears chased after Silas like heat seeking missiles. Silas was dodging them but they would chase him down after reacquiring the target.
"Garden." The thorns unveiled itself to cover Silas in a dome made of thorns. Yet the spears phased through the thorns. Silas leaped upwards, whereby he found Jensen firing a rifle at him. Throwing a card that exploded, unleashing ice tendrils that began to hunt for Jensen first. Jensen swapped his weapon for a long sword. Infusing darkness to cut through it with an eerie blue fire.
This was the result of them fighting each other a total of 7 thousand times. Time was passing slow here. All of this was only a battle within 60 seconds in the real world. Only to see Silas pointing a pistol behind Jensen's back.
"7 thousand losses. Damn." Jensen said as he heard the gun click. His head was blown off. Where it repaired itself where he looked at Silas who was still clean from any injury.
"At least you got an idea how your powers work. We'll be doing this daily. Try and cut it down to 6 999 deaths." Silas said as Jensen let out a sigh.
"You're crazy." They both returned back to the real world where Jensen went over to get himself cleaned up while Silas went outside. Finding Ferno perching over his head, yawning as he scratched Ferno's beak.
The revelation by Ericson was a big bonus. So this world went through a regression and seeing Jensen improving at a rate faster than his own? Silas could not help but smile as he went out.
"I'm heading out."
"Have a good day!" Bigby and Alex wished Silas as he got on his bike, riding off to campus. So Silas had no need to change anything or even do anything else. It was the first time Silas could see Bigby and Alex, they were surrounded by Divine Beasts and Summon Spirits. They were gesturing silence to Silas to let them enjoy the presence.
So his life that was supposedly peaceful would be filled with strife, not that it was an issue at the start. Arriving at campus, Silas headed inside where he found Caroline and Cindy were practicing with their weapons. Learning from 151 and Vizel. Cindy's bodyguards, those that used rapiers and sabers took a moment to learn with them. Seeing how 151 had used Vizel as a demonstration. Also citing that between the pair, Vizel was the stronger one.
"There's been offers to buy me off. It seems that a few Royalties want me in their ranks." 151 said as he showed how powerful a pierce attack was. The after effect left a hole in the wall which 151 smacked his head.
"Did I break the barrier again? Ah.. I will compensate it. It seems that us from the SDU have to keep reminding people that our loyalty cannot be bought nor can it be earned. It's already set to the person we chose to follow and... I did tell the Royals that I killed their kind because of how they left people to die in my world." 151 said as he sheathed his saber. Then explaining the fundamentals of the Azteris Swordsmanship to the students.
When the students joined in for combat exercises against Vizel, 151 was taking the role of the leader. Shouting orders that scared most of them at first but his clear instructions had shown them how with good combat strategies. Even enemies like Vizel would be on the edge. Off course, Vizel was playing along because Silas was present. Trying to not anger his lord, though Silas was enjoying the sight.
They were practicing combat training, where Jenny was trying to learn as much as she could from 151. Jotting down notes on a piece of paper, perhaps she had seen him as a mentor of sorts? No matter how many questions she bombarded him, he never dismissed her. Today however, was a special occassion because the Suicide Division Troopers were joining the mock battle. The Troopers and Horsemen, they marched into the campus with valor. Each footstep was synchronized, they did not need any commands. The horsemen went through the special gates, and they were careful with their horses. Trotting pass the students who could see them walking through the path without much fear or hesitation.
Today the student Hunters will participate in a special combat exercise with the Azteris Suicide Division. Silas was joining the students in this bout.
"Take it easy. Don't scare them too much. Not yet." Silas spoke in telepathy as they nodded.
"Students. We will begin the training at 5 levels. The newbie, the trainee, the intermediate, the experienced and the elite. All 5 training levels will be different. Leaders of the groups will begin your strategy prep, and I'd like to remind you. Once the trainee level is done, you will be watching us fight at a higher level. You will experience a lot of things. You will watch how we take down other human troops. Not demons."
"But why not!? We'd love to watch how you take down demons!" A student spoke up.
"It's because of our fighting style. How about this. If you pass the trainee level with taking a minimum of 20% casualties. We'll have the simulation run a demon for us to take down."
"Alright!" the students were all riled up, Silas was smoking his cigarette inside the simulation field where he had been given the job of literally 'doing what he wants' because not even Jenny could command him. Silas was just going to prepare a perch, readying his rifle. As the students went into the fight. Attacking in a frontal assault, that was a big mistake. The trooper's firing line was dangerous, taking dozens down within second. This was only the newbie category, but the students didn't hesitate. They continued to fight on. Shields to take the shots, but the horsemen crashing into them was enough to push them back. The downed horsemen pulled out a pistol, firing at them, then using a knife to fight through them. They cut off his arm, the horsemen pulled out their shovels.
"A shovel!?" Bashing the head of a hunter, then taking a blow to the head. The tenacity that they showed was just normal to Silas but to the other Hunters it was terrifying. Within minutes the entire battle had ended, Silas was the last one to stand. 151 fired a shot directly to Silas's temple without hesitation.
"Jenny. I must say that a textbook strategy won't work.. You truly underestimated my men. A squad of 5 can take down a demon baron by themselves. This is only a fraction of my soldiers. You can cut their arms, you can cut their legs. They will crawl over to you and fight until they die. That is how we've been taught. After all during the demon lord's fight against my master. I had both of my arms cut off, and had a knife to my mouth. Now we have mana that heals our limbs. And even if our limbs fly off." 151 said as he cut off the arm of one of his soldiers. Whereby they see purple lightning form over the soldier's missing limb, forming another arm.

"I am similar to Vizel. A Rose Knight. It's not a title that can be given easily, it is only to those who are worthy. Rose Knights are Familiars with certain powers... Now... Why don't you join us?" 151 turned to Margen who was with his Hunters.
"Hey there 151. It's been a while." Margen went to hug 151.
"It has been. Would you like to test your Hunters against my men?"
"How about it Jesters?"
"Let's do it BOSS!"
"Alright men! Look at our opponents! Treat each one of them as if they are a demon lord! Respect them for facing us in this battle today! Honour to my brethren!"
"Victory to my kin!" The warcry was enough to earn smiles from the defeated students. This time the students were now able to watch 151 against Margen.
"BEGIN!" The magic attacks were launched, but what they see were the troopers and horsemen vanishing from their senses. Reappearing as purple lightning sparked all around them. Margen and 151 were heard laughing as the chaos occurred all around them.
"You can phase through objects?"
"Yeah, but I didn't think you'd put explosive spells on the front of the shields! This makes no sense! HAHAHAHA" The two were laughing like old friends as their allies fought on. Where Margen watched as a trooper pulled the pin on his vest and jumping into the air.
"Were those fragmentation grenades?"
"Nailbombs are also useful. Since nails are metal, and we can use it to create more lightning sparks." To which the trooper was frozen in place. A contained explosion.
"Hmm... Telekinesis and casting barrier to stop suicide bombers. That sounds like something I should learn."
"You can use your lightning to freeze them in place. It will be electrifying."
"Oh god. An electric pun?! Commander permission to use shovel!"
"Don't bury him in it. Just let the puns continue. We still have a hill to dig up."
Silas was trying to decide if this was a battle or a comedic skit? They continued on with the electric puns and the jokes over the shovel. The students however were entranced by the power that was displayed by both sides. The last battle would be one between 151 and Margen. Divine Grimoire against the Rouge of Valor. The battle was one where everyone watched without blinking. Even if their eyes were getting red, not even an itch on their bodies had been scratched. All the attention was on the pair.
151's blade grazed the grimoire, his fist threw Margen off for a second but Margen punched back. It caused 151 to take a step back.
"Interesting. A mage with a good fist." Margen put on a pair of brass knuckles.
"I was an MMA fighter back in the day. Didn't mean I let go off my roots!" Margen was throwing multiple punches as 151 dropped his blade. Showing off the Azteris Suicide Division's Melee combat style. It was mainly redirecting attacks elsewhere, going for grapples and quick strikes to the joints. Margen raised his leg to kick 151, who stopped it with his forearm. A straight jab caught by Margen's hand. A sweep of the leg that tripped both of them. Mutual destruction as they backed away in the next second.
151 took off his gas mask, throwing his coat aside and shirt aside. Even pushing his sword away. The scars over his body were numerous, all of them told a tale of a man that tried to defy demons. Margen did the same, throwing a pair of brass knuckles at 151's direction. 151 tied his hair, put on the brass knuckles. Charging straight at Margen as they began to strike one another with blows from the front. Their legs rooted themselves into the ground with only the top half of their bodies swaying like branches in the wind.
Their fists reached one another as jolts of lightning from 151 grazed Margen's cheeks. The flame from Margene's fist burned a bit of 151's cheek but both of them couldn't be bothered. Imbued their fists with full elemental asssaults. Their bodies were taking a beating, this was no friendly bout. It was like two titans that were trying to overthrow one another right before the eyes of the audience.
Cheers for gladiators in the arena. Silas could not help but root for both of them, seeing their power first hand. Seeing how Margen matched 151 blow for blow, and 151 going at it with his purple lightning. The Rouge of Valor was proving his worth to the others today. A blow that struck their faces at the same time pushed them back by 10 paces. Margen spat out his chipped tooth, 151 blew the bloodied snot from his nose.
They went at it again, their stamina and endurance was something Silas was taken back by. Margen was able to keep up. Margen was a Hunter who was able to keep up with 151, that was a feat in its self. Margen struck a blow that uprooted 151 off, landing on the rough surface.
151 looked at Silas.
"Do I get up?"
"No. Let him have this one." 151 nodded, as Margen fell down first. Jesters were about to go grab their leader. 151 stood up, then shouldered Margen over his arm.
"Last time someone punched me that hard was a demon lord." Margen said as his face was bruised, some parts of his face had turned purple and some were swelling.
"Heh, you let me win."
"That was your win. I'll fight you again some other time." 151 said as the Jesters medical staff worked on healing their leader while 151's wounds healed up quicker than ever thanks to an energy canister thrown at his direction. Then putting on his mask again.
"Now, that must have been a spectacle. Shall we proceed with how the Azteris Suicide Division handles demons?" The Hunters nodded, they paid attention to 151's explanation in the simulation. How demon's are classified, how each demon's weakness was not something simple as a shot to the head. Always weaken the demon so that it focuses its regeneration elsewhere, then make sure the blow to the heart and head happen at the same time so the body has no time to react to it. They watched how the Suicide Division would gang up on a demon with their bayonets and shovels. Bashing and piercing its body until they decapitated it.
They pulled pins off the grenades on their vests, leaping straight into a demon and exploding. They were the Suicide Division and 151's explanation of the philosophy was that the Suicide Division earned its name for its high casualty rate, but it was enough to scare even the demons off because of their power.
Nobody could deny their lethality that had been enhanced thanks to the Rouge of Valor's power, the Rose Knight of Valor's wrath. The one who commands it, and the one who wills it. Whatever the Lord of Thorns asked, it must be done. Human enemies were easier and no matter the size of the demon. The Hunters watched how the titan demons would fall to their knees because of their tactics. Using specialized drones to increase combat efficiency and surveillance. Mounted gun positions that had taken heavy blows, their comrades died left and right but none of them ran away or backed down.
The sight of it had brought a question to those who observed. Were the Suicide Division the real demons or were the demons just confused to why these mortals refused to run? 151 told them the tale.
Why the Azteris Suicide Division was what they were. They were not driven by madness of war, but rather. The shame that could choke an entire planet itself into creating suicide bombing vests. They'd rather take down the enemy with their cadavers than be taken alive. They'd rather their allies used their bodies as shields. The shame they felt for betraying their savior was one that could not be quantified in a single word. So they repent, and 151 was the one who slaughtered the traitorous commanders and the one who has sent many of his men to their deaths.
He said that it was justified but deep down, that shame of always losing was there but he'd never look at it elsewhere. Now their powers were enhanced as Familiars and their skills reached a pinnacle of demon slaughtering to a perfection. Teaching the new Hunters how to handle these demons? They made the demons look far more humane than they were. The demons panicked at the sight of the Suicide Division despite their miniscule numbers. It was their shame and valor to atone for the shamefulness, is what made the demons so wary.
The Hunters that paid attention observed how the tactics changed, how 151 would roar back at a demon lord in defiance before taking its head. A simulation was what this was, but the atmosphere in the training area felt all too real. Margen was watching this, he could understand the tenacity of the Suicide Division. Why the Jesters had been blessed to have allies such as them when facing demons. Why demons of any other realm had been terrified upon their arrival. These were merely the troopers and the horsemen, what of the other units? The other units themselves were forces to be reckoned with and yet, the bottom rank and file was enough to take down demon knights and demon dukes that had their records state the casualties caused was numerous.
And today, they watched how the Suicide Division of Azteris fought against the same demon knights and demon dukes that had caused hundreds of Hunters and thousands of civilians to die? Be dealt with, in a manner that the Suicide Division had no casualties whatsoever.
