V2 Chapter 21 : The Chaos at the Kingdom.

"Your Majesty!" King Lereu Reznoa was wearing his armor.

"The Jade Principality army and their allies are here!" Walking out to see the Empress, the Prince and Princess wearing their armors along with the Saintess and the Chosen Guardians. The entirety of the Kingdom was already armed as the people took up arms with rifles.

"How many?"

"Roughly... 3 million and increasing in numbers! Demons and angels are forming more and more over the horizon!" The faces of panic by the soldiers that were present, the King was standing by the walls to see the large scale army forming over them.

"I fear the worst.. They're numbers are greater than ours." King Lereu let out a sigh, turning to see the Ancients that were still calm.

"I will not hold you in contempt if you wish to flee... But please make sure my people are safe."

"We have no intention to leave. Besides. There's another one." Asim said as One Winged Seraph and the 12 Seraphs appeared from the shadows. One Winged Seraph whistled at the sight, looking over the horizon. Coffin Dancer, Silver Cross, Silver Gun, Alpha and Omega made their appearance. The entire kingdom was surrounded and it seemed as if they decided to take on the capital itself.

The tension was tough to bear as the voices of the non-combatants headed to take refuge in the castle while the ones who will be on the front lines felt fear sinking into them. Pulling them in but the Ancients were quiet. The Dragon King Xalrait showed his true form.

"Reznoa Kingdom! For the sin of abducting my kin! You will pay for your insolence!" The roar reached them but Bayran stopped it with just his glare.

"A dragon that speaks with such arrogance towards a Kingdom that has not committed such a thing. Have you no shame!" Bayran roared back where they see the Dragon King fall to the ground, lowering his head in submission. Bayran leaped down first as he transformed into a dragon. The Ancient of White, the Dragon who governs the Winters. Glaring at his descendants. Flying to the Dragon King, who was still looking down upon them.

"Pathetic." Bayran said as he roared at them, unleashing a crushing pressure that had the dragons falling to their knees, flattening them to the ground that cracked heavily as a result. The ground broke with such a loud crack that it caused the others to be afraid.

Bayran turned back to his human form, with white wings and wielding a saber.

"My name is Bayran. Formerly the White Dragon of Borealis. By my Lord's will I have been asked to defend this kingdom. If you wish to fight. Then I will be your opponent!" Bayran's declaration had brought his mettle to the table.

"Heh, show off. Seraphs? Shall we go say hi to our siblings?" One Winged asked as the others nodded, unveiling their wings as they fly into the air. Donning their angelic armors. One Winged merely put on his helmet that had his long hair acting like a plume.

They flew towards the army of angels who stopped to look at them with disbelief.

"So you want to start a war? Are you all sure you're ready for this? It won't end well. The 13 Seraphs who serve our master shall be your opponents!" It sent shudders down the spines of the angels.

"You can't be the 13 Seraphs! You must be imposters! Die!"A dominion charged at One Winged first, thrusting the lance at him. Stopped by a finger, where One Winged looked at the dominion with a chuckle.

"Guess I'll have to start teaching you some manners." One Winged Seraph brushed the attack aside, then punching the Dominion to the ground. Creating mounds just from the impact.

Barakas grew her butterfly wings while Cinder flew up to the skies to show her form as a phoenix. Barakas was floating in the air as butterflies flew to her finger tips. Where Barakas blew into it, creating trees that blocked the path. The Jade Principality fired their guns at the trees, only to see the bullets be sucked into it. Where they see fruits, fly over at their direction. Then exploding, unleashing seeds that pierced through their armor.

"The Angsana trees that I make aren't normal. Be sure to be careful because whatever you use... It'll be coming back at you with the same force as it left you." Barakas chuckled as Cinder's flames were radiating outwards, unleashing the heat that was going to wear the stamina of the individuals before her.

Vingthor, Lopt and Bileygr were just relaxing by the walls, where Bileygr's raven flew away from his hand. Where they see more ravens fly from the distance. Vingthor gathered lightning to his hand as Bileygr put his hand over his son's shoulder. Lopt was sitting on top of his blade, twirling his glass of wine. Looking bored as he took off his mask, taking a sip as the lightning ravaged down upon the masses. Breaking the formations in an instant. The demons were struck by the lightning bolt that began to chain onto the others. The lightning ceased as Lopt got down from his blade, grabbing it by the handle as Vingthor and Bileygr gave way.

Lopt leaped over to the center of the battlefield where the demons turned, seeing Lopt's eyes glow scarlet as an armor formed over him. The visor glowed scarlet entirely, the v-shape was noted with its vents shaped like a wolf's jaw. A blue plume that swayed freely as they watched the chains over the great sword slowly fall off one by one.

"Ah Lopt. Why have you always been so playful when your desire for chaos is much greater than mine?"

"Between you and him. He needs to be reigned in more when he starts but since we don't have a duty to take them alive. I suppose we can join this. Come!" Vingthor grabbed his halberd and Bileygr readied his spear, separating to other directions.

The power that was shown by Lopt was enough to scare the demons into submission. Just hearing the heavy breathing unnerved some of the demons. A demon duke charged in with a katana, where Lopt punched the blade until it shattered. Then exhaling the smoke from the vents that burned the demon duke's face off. Ending the demon duke's misery with a single downward swing.

The Blade Tyrant was in his element, the blade tyrant title was given to Lopt because of his unique swordsmanship style. The Trickster's Blade. One that would work on many enemies. Diverting attacks on them but also being powerful enough to cause confusion and hysteria. A rapier went after Lopt's throat, pushing it aside with a flick of the wrist. A slight shift of the great sword that caused the rapier to pierce into a demon knight's throat. A tight grip over the demon's throat as Lopt crushed it before their eyes.

An intensity that had seeped out into the battlefield that had the demons in panic, slowly falling into a state of fear. The eyes of a beast, their superior strength and speed? Was that even a thing anymore? Facing Lopt in his current condition? The Blade Tyrant was earning his namesake for taking the lives of the demons before him. The Jade Principality's soldiers watched as Lopt encroached on their position, his hand grabbed the head of the commanding officer. Slamming the officer down to the ground, where Lopt lowered his head to meet the officer's face.

Growling as Lopt howled in the officer's face, seeing the skin and flesh leave the officer behind. Standing back up as Lopt charged into the Jade Principality's soldiers, growling as he went after them. Chasing them down with his great sword, slashing the bodies. Beating a soldier with the pommel that crushed the head inward into the ribs. Lopt threw his sword into a tank, howling as he grabbed a soldier by the leg, then swinging the soldier around like a bat against others. Gunfire ,smoke and flashbangs to stop Lopt. Yet, all of that was in Lopt's advantage. How can one deceive the trickster?

"The nerve to deceive me. The Trickster!? You dare?!" Lopt continued to swing the soldiers around like bats. Crushing their bodies with their own allies. What more irony does one need? Lopt went at it with his bare hands. Ripping limbs off, then beating the soldiers to death with it.

Stolen novel; please report.

Bileygr was using his spear to puncture the armors, then his ravens would join in with the attack. clawing the bodies, pecking the heads. Ripping off libs throwing them aside as Bileygr snapped his fingers as the blood formed runes over the battlefield where Bileygr unleashed the power of the mystic runes that sent the army flying into the air. Where another set of runes caused the earth to form a gaping mouth that swallowed them into the abyss.

A raven perched over his hand as Bileygr watched the runes do his bidding. Turning an army before him into nothing while lightning roared at the side, seeing Vingthor swinging his halberd. Sending soldiers flying, be it limbs or body parts. Whatever that was going to bother him, Vingthor was going to keep launching them away. Infusing electric within the bodies, as they landed on the ground. Unleashing a chained lightning that vaporized the skin and flesh.

Bayran stood at the dragons that were readying their attacks but they could not do anything. They were still on the ground because of the pressure.

"Why!? Why do you support the humans?!"

"It is not a matter of support. The Reznoa Kingdom was not responsible for this. If you wish to fight." Bayran said as the pressure had lifted on them where they see Bayran raise his blade to their direction.

"Then I will be your opponent." They stood on their feet as King Xalrait charged at Bayran in a head on collision. Seeing his spear be shattered upon reaching Bayran's fingers. Where Bayran grabbed Xalrait and smashing Xalrait into the ground. Where the dragon knights rushed over to see Bayran stop them with ice made dragon knights that stood by his side.

"Do not disappoint me, my descendants." Bayran said as he rest his hands by the pommel of his saber as the phantoms of Bayran's soldiers made of ice took the battle first. He was going to wait for Xalrait to stand on his feet and Xalrait made a spear of black flames. The two dragons roared as they began their bout.

One Winged Seraph and Final Judgement were just looking bored as the angels and dominions were down for the count, unable to say anything or rebut anything. One Winged Seraph's attack was enough to push all of the angels down to the ground. They got back up on their feet, only to see pillars fall from above that pommeled them down back to the ground.

"Stay down. I expected you to have strength but it seems that I feel sad. Normally a dominion would be able to injure me. It shows that you've been complacent in your training." Final Judgement spoke with a sigh as he continued to read a scroll. A dominion broke free, unleashing a gigantic sword of light down upon Final Judgement. One Winged Seraph stood in front of it, raising his fingers. Where the sword of light was stopped by One Winged's hand.

"I could have handled that myself, thank you very much."

"Old habits die hard, brother. Must be me covering your ass a lot since you're reading scrolls." Final Judgement chuckled as the other Seraphs walked on over.

"This was a bore." The Seraph of Blades spoke as he shouldered his swords. He had three katanas to the left hip, a pair of short swords to the right. Bladed gauntlets and slotting the blades over his shoulder sheathes.

"What did we expect from them? Though. I do pity the Jade Principality." One Winged remarked as an angel glared at him.

"Did the master say anything about going over to the church?" The Seraph of Elements asked.

"Yep. He said if the church was going to be using angels, dominions and high angels for a bad purpose. We'll need to see how things go. Then again, I've always hated being here because the Goddess and Gods in this realm are dumber than bricks." One Winged groaned.

The demons also faced off against Alpha and Omega, who were essentially fighting each other while taking out demons. The demons were caught up in their usual bouts.

"Come on, Omega! You can do better than this!" Alpha roared as he swung the long sword to push Omega's katana aside. Where the blade found another target, a demon duke's head.

"It'll be a lot easier if we didn't have these idiots moving around." Omega kicked the demon duke's body away, a swing to free the blade for another attack. Their arms turned into claws as they reached out to strike each other, their swords clashed as their claws were in a deadlock.

A demon went after Omega from behind where Omega diverted his brother's blade to pierce into the demon's chest.

"Damn. I can't believe they like to interrupt our fun. Ah well. Why don't we clean up the place for a bit?"

"I agree." Omega answered Alpha as they both went after the surrounding demons. Alpha drew out his pistol while Omega readied his revolver. Fast firing as they crossed each other's path in their runs. Passing a magazine for the other as Alpha went on a full out aggression, annoying his enemies first while Omega fired the shots to disable the limbs. Alpha kicked an enemy to Omega's line of sight, where Omega cut through the demon. Vanishing from the back, kicking the demon over to Alpha who broke the demon's spine with his leg.

Firing a few shots to put the demon down then a reload as Alpha went after Omega. A direct collision, where Omega stepped to the left swinging his katana upwards while Alpha skewered dozens of demons in that rush attack. Omega pulled out a lance, throwing it through the heads of the skewered demons while Alpha pulled out the pistol to blast off multiple shots at the demons in Omega's path. Breaking their stride as Omega cut them down.

Silver Cross, Silver Gun and Coffin Dancer took on the armies on the east side. Silver Cross unleashing the firepower that was hidden in the cross, missiles from the top section. That fly above the army, then shattering its shell to unleash a hail storm of explosions down below. Silver Gun was just firing his revolver at high speeds, where the bullets pierced through the armor and bounced off the tank to strike a lethal blow to different targets at random.

Coffin Dancer was firing the artillery from his Cemetery Wind, unleashing the heavy cannons that struck the army. Breaking their formation as he grabbed the Preaching Magnums, firing off the heavy magnum rounds that sent bodies flying. Piercing through tanks. The combination of the trio with guns was enough to push the army back. When a tank fired off its cannon, Coffin Dancer put Cemetery Wind as a shield, where Silver Cross and Silver Gun ran behind Coffin Dancer for protection.

"Thanks CD. Sorry about that." Silver Gun said as he fixed his circular glasses in position and reloaded his revolver. While Silver Cross was pulling out the pistols in the right section of his cross. Providing covering fire that struck the snipers and marksmen trying to hide themselves. Gunshots were enough to take care of it.

The Jade Principality's soldiers had their morale shattered. The demons were dying left and right.

"You won't be able to win! We'll be sure that the fortress falls and the rest of our army along with the vampires will tear you asunder!" A demon duke spoke out where Lopt laughed loudly to those words.

"You truly believe that the vampires will survive? Allow me to be clear. If our master had told us to destroy your homes. We would do it without question. You are far too naive if you believe that this amount may be enough for him. If he ordered us to, we could already turn all of this into a massacre. We're only keeping you back from making any damage to Reznoa. If you turn back now. Mercy will be given. Tell your kings the horrors of what you've felt. For if they wish to continue this fight. It will be an even bigger slaughter. For we do not mind staining our hands with the blood of your kin." Lopt's words, despite renowned as a trickster had an effect that caused the soldiers to leave without a word. Bayran looked at King Xalrait who had been reduced to nothing but a torso with a head intact.

"Leave. Do not embarrass me any further." Bayran said as the dragon knights grabbed their king.

"Thank you for your mercy, Oh Founder." They dragon knights left as Bayran turned to the others where they began to make their way to leave the area. Perhaps the fear they had felt from the Ancients, Sovereigns and the Seraphs were enough as a deterrent.

King Lereu could see the fear in the eyes of his people, they had just witnessed a large army be decimated by these individuals. An army of angels that were said to be heaven's chosen, the demons of the Demon Realm and the dragons... The Jade Principality boasted weapons and machinery that was years ahead of the Reznoa Kingdom but this? This merely proved that they were truly a speck in the eyes of Duke Albert Sylvanus.

If Duke Sylvanus had chosen to bear his fangs at the Reznoa Kingdom, it would spell destruction of unknown proportions and perhaps... The end of the Kingdom. Even the nobility that had sneered Albert Sylvanus had began to envelop second thoughts with their plan to have him killed. For what if he had died? What if his death brought back a vengeful ghost? A vengeful wraith that would massacre them like they had just seen. The armies that were pushed back had only been acting defensively? What if the opportunity or chance arises for the Silver Lion to choose the other option? If this was not considered as a massacre... Then what would one call it?

The eyes of the Princess, the Saintess and the Chosen Guardians had already seemed to lose the colour in their eyes. Perhaps the insanity that they had seen was far too much for them. The one sided nature of this battle was horrifying. Even the crusaders and paladins of the Holy Church had already felt the fear sinking in deep into their bodies. The survivors would speak of the atrocities and the butchering of their allies to their masters. What would be left? Would Albert Sylvanus stop there or would he continue onward with a war?

What would be given as a reward? The King's thoughts were in a state of confusion and muddled with fear.

"Their loyalty can't be bought... People have tried, father." Those words from the Prince? Enough to show that the devotion of these beings were not one of money or fame. No delusions of grandeur, when they walked through the gates. The blood stains on their armor and clothes were a testament to the atrocities that had been shed to light. They walked in, not celebrated as heroes but rather. A fearful gaze upon them as the people began to hide in their homes, the soldiers that stood to greet them were shaking by their boots. The Reznoa Royal Family themselves were trying to maintain their poker face but could it be kept in such a situation?

The beings gave a nod as they took off their helmets, grabbing drinks. Leaving bloodied coins on the stalls as payment as they headed away. Not wanting to say anything nor speaking of anything. Merely letting their presence be felt by all. They did not say a word, they took food as they left.

Gratitude was overwhelmed by fear, wanting to thank their heroes but at the same time feeling the fear.
