"Well. Let's get this show on the road then." Silas said as a Demon Overlord reached him, twice his height and had six arms with six blades. Exhuming heat from his presence, Silas turned to see Weiss standing in front of him with Reimi by his side. The gazes meeting one another had spoken of a battle in their minds. Yet, their bodies stood still. For what was present? What was left? What was needed in this very moment? Was action.

"Lord, Please leave this one to us." Silas gave a nod as he walked on ahead, hearing the blades dance away in a beautiful melody. Flames meeting Weiss's petals while Reimi provided support. The Demon Overlord with the six blades seemed to have the advantage, but facing against a Rose Knight and a Servant of Thorns was no laughing matter.

Another one of the Demon Overlord's made his way to him, a knight clad in onyx armor. A long sword raised to Silas, an invitation for a fight. Yet, it was Lopt who had stepped forth to accept it. The Blade Tyrant stood with a smile towards the Onyx Overlord's blade. Both of them had their blades raised, but not a single inch was taken. A sign of mastery of their swordsmanship, as the two merely circled one another. Perhaps they were judging moves with each step? Perhaps they were trying to understand what their opponent's strength and weaknesses are. Within a second, the two clashed. Lopt was chuckling as the Onyx Overlord grumbled with the black flames that began to coat the longsword facing against the Blade Tyrant.

Silas merely walked on ahead as Demon Lords went to chase after him. Bullets zipped past him, seeing the demon lords be riddled with bullets as the Suicide Division's Troopers and Horsemen unleashed their might. Bayonet charges to pierce the limbs, climbing atop the demon lords with shovels in hand. The Demon Lords did not falter as they used magic to send the troopers climbing atop of them like ants. The horsemen would be in a firing line, unleashing bullets of lightning into the demon lords. Merely annoying them, but that was their duty. As a Void Dancer leaped in for the kill, slashing the demon lord's head off. Seeing its body vanish, the respawn was going to be in effect.

An orchestra of guns fired from behind Silas to the Overlord of 7th's path. A demon lord charged at Silas from the left, swinging the demon blade to cleave Silas in two. Stopped by Donovan who wielded the shield breaker. Snapping the demon blade in half before using his other hand to draw the long sword to part the demon lord's torso and waist. 10 more demon lords went after Silas, only to be cut down by 151.

"My lord, please leave the rest to us." Silas continued walking through the battlefield. Leon's pressence alone had improved the odds for the Hunters with ranged weapons, not a single one of them missed. His orders granted them a clear idea of where to shoot. Even when a giant demon made its way over to stop Silas, the M-Frames went for the intercept. Where Leon gave orders to the M-Frames on where to shoot. The other Familiars were pushing the way for Silas, nothing before his path. Whatever that was standing before him, the Rose Knights, Crimson Reapers, Void Dancers and Daemon Punishers would make sure that it would cease to exist.

The calm before the storm. Such a saying was fitting for the situation, this wasn't the true extent of the fight. It was merely the start, the Hunters felt fear in their bones, a Hunter was cut down by a Demon Lord. The others began to scream in panic, only to hear 151 shout orders that calmed them down. The combined orders of Silas's commanders were just fuel to the fire that was burning in their hearts. The struggle to survive by any means necessary. Chairwoman Maya and Chairman Hargrave were already raising hell before him, hearing Chairwoman Maya's roar was able to cause demon lords to kneel by the intensity while Chairman Hargrave was no slouch. Just snapping his fingers as spears of light came raining from above like hail. Going by the thousands at once. A berserker and a mage, the perfect vanguard and support.

Lugasa, Guren and Bellesk were unleashing their howls. With Lugasa's flames burning through the skin of the demon lords. Their armor melted, giving Guren and the Bellesk the perfect opportunity to strike. Fast strikes with their claws, ripping off spines with their teeth. They were all drunk with blood lust and rage. Rage at the enemies before them. Silas had not even drew his blade once, glancing over to see Caroline singing to the best of her abilities, Hardin and his team fighting a singular demon lord. Coordinating attacks while Xiao was taking the heads of demon lords while following the Crimson Reaper's lead. The struggle was evident with Xiao, trying to keep up with his mentors was difficult.

Fundamentally and by technicality, but Xiao was first and foremost a ranger. Fighting alongside Valten, becoming a secondary support to the other Crimson Reapers that were cutting through enemies as a whole. Throwing ice grenades at the demon lords. Freezing the joints before they could make much movement, even if the flames would melt the ice down within seconds. It was plenty for the Crimson Reapers to relieve their foes off their heads and hearts.

Jenny fought by 151's side, keeping pace as he gave her orders of what to do against the demon lord's servants that were interfering with the fight. Nora's magic was being cast all around. Focusing on supporting the allies while causing damage bit by bit to the enemies. Bradley's team was present. Lenny kept the suppressing fire against the lesser demons that were going after the higher ranked Hunters and Venerators. The Blue Pythons proceeded with their artillery barrage support, launching spread missiles. The missiles would reach a designated target point before spreading, increasing damage all around the battlefield. Activating their skill 'Python's Hold' the intense support with the 150mm cannons was enough to tear through the formation. Blowing off the limbs of the unsuspecting demon lords.

The Orions began with their combat strategy, mixing it up with hard hitting attacks on the demon lords. Their focus was to harass the demon lords, while leaving the Goliaths with their anti-demon spears charging straight into them. Gunfire from the Orions that would distract the demon lords. One demon lord used magic to try and restrain an Orion. Only to see the Orion just slip past them with the hip mounted boosters that gave an edge in speed. White Comet AS Users would be joining the Orion's tactics. The Synergy of the Wind Of War skill and Get It Done by the two units respectively added to it. The Sylvanus Knights would be the ones landing the final blow with their long swords.

Beniya and Hofnier were going at a dozen demon lords together, Beniya with the dagger and Hofnier going in for attacks with his fists. The dagger to strike the limbs, giving Hofnier the chance to break the limbs as he imbued holy magic into his fists. Loren used his ability as the Grand Paladin of Faith to increase morale of the ones fighting by the Lord of Thorn's side. Increasing their combat prowess and buffing up the strength by 50%. Margen was raining death from below with his magic, unleashing spheres of sub-zero ice to freeze the enemies before they could do anything. Seeing that,Jun and Cynthia drew their blades. Slicing the frozen demon lords in half was easy for them. The Demon Lords went to surround the two of them as Jun and Cynthia stood with their backs turned to each other.

The author's tale has been misappropriated; report any instances of this story on Amazon.

"Not bad, Divine Blade of Storm."

"I think you're still better than me, Samurai of Dawn." The two of them drew their blades, just slashing through an entire army's worth of demon lords in an instant. Cynthia took a moment to be amazed at her power, trying to wrap her head around it.

"Don't try to make sense of it. The Avatar of Seasons had once beaten a god." Jun said as he went ahead. Cutting more demons in the path. The echoes of violence was heard, and the demon lords began to respawn while the Overlord of 7th Hell kept observing Silas who was walking over to his path. Black Waltz led the other Ensemble to the fray, they were carving a path through the demon lords that stood before them. The lesser demons, the demon barons, demon dukes charged at them to aid their lords. Only to fall by the might of the Ensemble bulldozing their way through them. The others began to join into the fray, specifically Ye Qiu and Jensen. Umbra, Zyx and Yrvad went in unison with the Divine Beasts. Striking at the demon lords with a mix of magic and physical attacks. Breaking through barriers by force.

Zerx and Asim stood side by side as they readied their weapons. Unleashing a special combination skill 'The Two Paths' that turned an entire column of demon lords with their servants into nothing but piles of blood.

"You've gotten somewhat better at synching with me."

"I try, brother. I try."

"Don't sell yourself short, Zerx. I may be an Ancient but your strength is something that you have nurtured for a long time. Come now, let us clear a path for our Lord."

"Yes!"

Meanwhile, the Overlord of 7th Hell was seated on his throne, just watching the entire situation. In terms of size, his army should be dominating the force before him. Logically at least but it was clear that using the Lord of Thorns as a milestone is not the right one. An Avatar of Seasons and a Lord of Thorns. They were leagues apart, yet the Overlord of 7th Hell smiled beneath his helmet, perhaps the prospect of losing did not seem as bad as it should be.

"Enjoying the view?" Kaglar said as he stood by the Overlord of 7th Hell's side. The others reacted but the overlord of 7th stopped them while raising his hand.

"Why are you here, brother? Shouldn't you be with him? Or using your ability to force demons to kneel before you."

"The lord specifically told me to stay out of this fight. Can't help but enjoy the chaos before me though. Just seeing the desperation of humans in a fight. Something marvelous about that." The Overlord of 7th Hell thought about the words of his brother, understanding what he had meant. The faces of these humans fighting against the demon lords that could crush them in a second. Watching how they would not falter at all. Some were cowardly and ran, but the others focused on the ones before them.

"I normally see cowards be executed... Why not here?"

"Cowards.. Not all of them are born from fear. Some are from weakness and the hopelessness of being weak. It is survival of the fittest for us as it is for them. Most of them were terrified and wanted no part of this, yet they all felt something from you. That hopelessness you tend to give when beings of a weaker race try to face you."

"The Apex skill. I see, so it has an effect but was it counter acted because of the Avatar of Seasons?"

"Somewhat."

"Your tea, Overlord and Ancient Demon of Black." The Overlord of 2nd Hell said as he placed the tea cups to Kaglar and the Overlord of 7th's side.

"In terms of cruelty, how do you think he fares in that category?"

"He turned his enemies into plants and eats off them. They're still alive and slowly be turned into a tree." The Overlord of 7th Hell was blinking his eyes three times. Then he turned to the remaining Overlords who were also astonished at hearing that.

"That's the most evilest thing I've ever heard. Turning your enemies into a tree, then leaving them as something that they cannot move. Then you eat them? My word, he is evil."

"Oh you think that's bad? He once turned a greedy human into nothing but a bumbling madman who will be terrified at the sight of flowers and have a mental breakdown. Imagine the human custom of bringing flowers to someone who is sick."

"So he is cruel to his foes but kind to people? How has that bode for him?"

"Eh, it's mainly just him not wanting to stand out. He's just, wanting to enjoy a peaceful life with his family. Someone tried to take that black phoenix. The black phoenix's followers brought the person's mind into another dimension and proceeded to torture them in there eternally." Kaglar's words had earned the interest of the other demons.

"His Familiars and Servants fight for him without fear and worry." Overlord of 7th Hell said, watching how demon lords fell before Silas's path. Anything that stood before Silas was dealt with, while the sides were left alone.

"Do not engage the Avatar of Seasons. Focus on killing his allies." The change was evident, the tide of the fight shifted. Seeing the Hunters fall at the hands of the demon lords unleashing their strength. Burning Hunters and Venerators left and right, a blade going through a Hunter's body. Splitting them in half. Hardin and his team were petrified, then crushed by a club from a demon lord.

"Now we'll see their resolve." Silas continued on his approach, as the demon lords ignored him. Seeing the demon lords respawn one by one as they went back into the fray. Hardin respawned with the others but the feeling of being in death's embrace was something that the humans had never felt. It was their brain accepting that they had died. For humans it was a difficult thing to wrap around.

"Get your head in the game!" Jordan shouted as he pulled Hardin away from a spear. Then leaping to at the demon lord, going for fast piercing strikes to the eyes. Even that, was not enough to stop the demon lord that kept chasing Jordan around.

"Damn, he's got a few more eyes then." A few Venerators from Gunworks unleashed their storm of lead at the demon lord.

"Stay still human!" Jordan paused to look around, trying to get an idea of where the demon lord's eyes were. The palms are always closed, could it be there?

"Gunworks! Aim at the hands!" Seeing the hand open up, that gave Jordan an opening to pierce the other two eyes. Then kicking the demon lord's head, pushing it down. The Troopers went after the demon lord with their bayonets, going for the throat and the chest. The battle raged on intensely as both sides were feeling the damage. The Hunters were feeling their weakness, the times they have died would reach within a hundred times for them, while the Venerators on the other hand. They were far more careful and less reckless in comparison.

"The Kingdom of Ice!" Fitz shouted as ice walls formed everywhere before them, tunneling the demon lords into a zone where they could not move. Even the flames of the other Overlords were not enough to melt it.

"How!? The overlord's flames are supposed to be superior!"

"Not against the Cold Cage. The Cold Cage's ice is close to my own powers." The Overlord of 7th said as the demon lords, their servants were at the mercy of Silas's allies.

"This is humanity's desperation to fight and survive. Some of them seem unfazed at the idea of dying." Seeing Jensen be cut in half, Bigby be swallowed whole by a demon. Alex being pierced by a thousand spears.

"About that. It seems a group of demigods conspired with another Lord of Thorns to try and cause chaos within their world. So some of them were in a loop for mayhaps a hundred or a thousand cycles of death." Kaglar had pointed it out which the Overlord of 7th showed the disgust at that notion.

"I never thought I'd see you disgusted with that plan." Kaglar asked as a spear flew past him, he turned to look at the result. A demon lord's head was on the floor while its body was moving around trying to find it.

"The reason I became an Overlord of the 7 Hells was because the previous 7th Overlord was an imbecile. He kept throwing demons at the angels without thinking. Our casualties nearly reached a billion demons. I took a page out of your list of advice you gave me."

"Which was?" Kaglar asked as he continued to sip on his tea.

"If something angers you so, then you just have to crush it." Kaglar chuckled at hearing those words from his younger brother. Soon, Silas had already arrived before them. The Overlord of 7th Hell stood up, cracking his shoulders as he walked down his throne to Silas.

"Kaglar, thanks for your help."

"Always at your service Lord. But this is a fight between you and him. So everyone else has to do something else. Do you want me to do something?"

"Just help those that are struggling." Kaglar nodded as he vanished. Silas turned to the Overlord of 7th Hell who shot a smile at Silas's direction. A human sized Overlord, but the sheer strength? Silas could feel his body tensing up just from the sight of this figure. There was the sheer power that was blooming, even more than the Gorgon he had faced back with Joshua.

"I've not felt out matched in a long while, Overlord of 7th Hells."

"Please, call me Mizerka. I too have not felt such intensity. Standing before you, I can see that the power that you have is not for show, and it's nature... Destructive yet protective. An odd combination." Silas was a bit surprised to hear that from the Overlord of 7th Hells. Or rather Mizerka speak forwardly to him.

"I normally use my words as a ruse to see my opponent's worth. Your anger. It has subsided. I expected it to last longer as the sight of you being angry is beautiful. Yet, here I see that you have much hidden. Tell me, why do you go so far for another world?"

"It's to pay respect to the one who gave me this chance to start over in a new world in peace." Mizerka nodded, a respect that was odd to Silas.

"My brother and myself pay respect to strong opponents." Those words unleashed a winter breeze that soon turned into a blizzard, Mizerka's demons had left from his side. So this was the nature of the ice. It's intensity was even more ferocious than the Cold Cage's Ice. It had more power and was far more refined in the control aspect. Silas noticed how none of the snow from the blizzard had touched him. That level of control meant that Mizerka's precision was beyond Silas's own.

"Shall we?" Silas drew out the Grieving Thorn katana and readied himself. He was facing another master of the elements. One that could surely rip him to shreds if he was not careful.
