As they walked toward Hiro’s home, Hiro continued telling stories. "The Sacred Selection members are organized into large groups of strong, intelligent, and talented people. But there's also a royal squad—the most iconic individuals of our era, a group of six extraordinary young warriors."
Kyren listened with rapt attention as Hiro painted a vivid picture of the members of the Sacred Selection Guild.
Hiro's voice brimmed with excitement as he continued, "Each member has a prestigious, unique title to reflect their prowess. Take, for instance, the Red Thunder of God. He's known for his lightning-fast reflexes, unmatched agility, and mastery of combat. He can defeat an entire horde of enemies within seconds."
A sense of awe filled Kyren as he imagined the Red Thunder of God's lightning-quick movements, a force of nature in human form. He was beginning to understand why the guild was held in such high regard.
Hiro's enthusiasm didn't wane as he moved on to the next member. "Then there's the Queen of All Blade, a master assassin with deadly precision. Kyren, I would say that she could kill you before you even blink your eye!" he continued to paint a colorful tapestry of the guild's members. "The Golden Royal Shield is a perfect guardian. Based on speculation, no one has ever touched his armor or shield. They can't get near him because of his massive aura and power, The Celestial Sorcerer, she's a powerful wielder of roots or magic—arcane, you could say—capable of wiping out an entire town or city in an instant if she so desired." Hiro added with a smile. "Her mastery over the root arts can reshape reality itself. She's the one who can turn the tide of battles with a flick of her wrist."
Kyren's imagination ran wild at the thought of the Celestial Sorcerer's power, forming a force that could bend reality to her will.
Hiro concluded with a sense of reverence in his voice. "There's the Bloody Apex Priestess, a healer with abilities beyond ordinary comprehension. Her touch can mend wounds that others deem fatal, and her presence brings hope in the darkest of hours."
"And lastly, the newest member of Sacred Selection Royal Squad is the Plat Maker. She's known for being the treasurer of the guild and Leader's personal assistant. In previous years, she improved drastically to the point that she's now in the Royal Squad as well."
As Kyren absorbed the descriptions of each member, he couldn't help but feel a newfound sense of respect and admiration for Hiro's dream of joining this remarkable guild. His curiosity deepened as Hiro described the leader of the Sacred Selection Guild, and he couldn't help but ask, "And who is their leader?"
Hiro's eyes sparkled with admiration, and he rose to his feet with a sense of pride. "The leader of the Sacred Selection Guild is none other than Rezhura, known as The Perfect Knight. He is a prodigy among prodigies, Kyren, a young and powerful knight considered one of the greatest warriors of our time."
Kyren was captivated by the image of Rezhura, "the Perfect Knight," a figure who had achieved such acclaim and respect among the guild's members. "How did Rezhura achieve such fame and power at such a young age?" Kyren inquired, intrigued by the story behind the guild's illustrious leader.
Hiro's voice remained gentle but filled with deep admiration as he spoke. "Rezhura's journey to greatness is a remarkable one, Kyren. He, along with the Royal Squad he built, were all born without parents, just like me, and they grew up together in an orphanage in Knight Bay City."

Kyren couldn't help but be drawn into the narrative. "An orphanage?" he echoed, his curiosity growing.
Hiro nodded, his gaze distant as he recalled the tale. "Yes, Knight Bay City's orphanage was where their paths converged. Rezhura, even from a young age, displayed exceptional leadership, courage, and an unwavering commitment to justice."
A sense of admiration filled Hiro's voice as he continued, "As they grew, so did their skills and reputation. They became a force to be reckoned with, taking on quests and challenges that others deemed impossible. Rezhura's leadership, combined with the unique talents of each member of the Royal Squad, propelled them to legendary status."
Kyren was a bit surprised. "No parents, huh..."
Hiro agreed. "Though it started off tough, they supported one another. The orphanage was managed by the Human Association Guild and backed by the human, elf, and fairy races. This allowed them to have what they needed and make it feel like home."
"Rezhura, being the leader he is, took it upon himself to protect, guide, and care for the others," Hiro continued. "Despite their circumstances, they never lost hope. Each one of them had unique talents and skills that they nurtured, forming an inseparable bond with one another. Not only that, they were all treated like the perfect squad for every job they took."
"Sounds like they had quite the journey," Kyren replied thoughtfully.
Hiro nodded. "Indeed, they did. But that journey led them to become the most extraordinary individuals in our realm. All of them became exceptional in their own right."
...

.
"It's incredible what they achieved together. I see why you can relate to them in some way. You said that you are just like them; what do you mean by that?" Kyren asked, looking at Hiro.
Hiro took a deep breath, looking into Kyren's eyes, his voice filled with both sorrow and resolve. "Kyren, I want you to know that my parents fell victim to the first racial war a decade ago. I don't know who killed my parents during that war, but…"
Kyren was not expecting this revelation and felt a profound sense of empathy. "Hiro, I had no idea... I'm so sorry for your loss."
Hiro offered a sad smile and spoke, "Thank you, Kyren. Losing them was devastating, but it taught me the importance of standing against hatred and seeking a world where such conflicts no longer plague our people. Even though the hatred still exists within me, seeking vengeance is not the answer."
As Kyren saw Hiro's enthusiasm for his dream of joining the Sacred Selection Guild, he wanted to be a supportive friend and encourage him in his pursuit.
Kyren looked Hiro in the eyes and said with conviction, "Hiro, we will do this. Together, we'll face whatever challenges come our way, and I'll stand by your side every step of the journey. Even though I've recovered my memories, I believe in you, and I believe in us."
Hiro's face brightened at Kyren's words, but there was a flicker of uncertainty in his eyes. "Kyren, that means a lot to me. However, the Sacred Selection Guild is known for recruiting only the most skilled and talented individuals."
Hiro started to look at the ground. "It's an incredibly competitive process, and I'm not sure if I'm good enough to stand among the best."
Kyren placed a reassuring hand on Hiro's shoulder, looking him squarely in the eyes. "Hiro, don't let doubt cloud your vision. Every great journey starts with the courage to take the first step."
Kyren pointed his fingers at himself. "Look at me. Even though I don't know who I am or where I belong, I trusted you to help me, and that's why I will try to help you as much as I can. Seeing your determination and hard work, I can see that you can achieve what you want, and they will take you even further toward your dreams."
Kyren looked at the sky, which was giving them a night full of stars as it got darker. "If you're passionate about this dream, then believe in yourself and your abilities. We'll train, we'll learn, and we'll give it our all. Even if the road is tough, we won't know unless we try."
Hiro nodded, a glimmer of pride in his eyes. "You're right, Kyren, but still…"
Kyren interrupted, "No 'buts.' We will work and plan one step at a time. Tell me, what can we do to join the Sacred Selection Guild?"
"Kyren, you are quite mysterious and have something uniquely special about you. You are the first one who told me this," Hiro added before explaining the ways to join his dream guild.
