After a brutal moment, the Section 16 students tried to attack the defenders in front of them but were pushed back to the very edge of the arena.
In an unexpected turn, Section 16 students began to reveal their true nature and survival instincts. They started fighting for spots and knocking out their own allies, resulting in at least 10 students being eliminated simultaneously.
"OK, THE BATTLE IS OVER!" the announcer declared. "25 students from Section 16 have been eliminated."
Section 15 lowered their guards and began congratulating each other, including the survivors from the other section.
However, one student from Section 16 couldn't accept the defeat and, displaying poor sportsmanship, attempted a cheap shot at a Section 15 student. "YOU GUYS ARE CHEATERS!!!!!!!" he yelled. Before he could land the strike, the Vice President cast a small corrupted dark root spell that instantly killed the student.
"Oops, you announced it wrong. 26 students have been eliminated," the Vice President corrected.
The student's body turned into dark, rotten burnt ashes, unrecognizable to anyone.
Everyone was terrified by the Vice President's actions. The atmosphere grew tense as the reality of the harsh consequences sank in.
"Hiro let's go back take a break, it's too intense here." Kyren asked.
Meanwhile Hiro is still speechless on what the hell is going on, but Kyren grabbed Hiro's arm and forcing him to take a break.
...
Kyren invited Hiro to return to their hut and enjoy some fresh air.
"Hiro... Let's go back to our hut and chill out, Zeeha we will take a break first." Zeeha nodded as Kyren suggested as he walked out of the event hall.
Hiro paused. "Kyren... That student... They're really dead, right? Just like the one after the entrance exam?"
Kyren remained silent.
"What if we end up like that student? What are we gonna do?" Hiro looked at his hand, worry etched on his face.
"Hiro, we will never end up like that. If defeat comes, we'll accept it gracefully," Kyren reassured him, patting Hiro on the back.
"I really have a bad feeling about this academy..." Hiro said, his optimism fading.
"Hiro..." Kyren grabbed Hiro's shoulder firmly. "You know me, right? We will solve any problem we face. Trust me, we will overcome all of this together."
Hiro smiled, reassured by Kyren's confidence. "You're right. I'll trust your words, and you can rely on me too." He began to follow Kyren. "Maybe we should hunt for our dinner. I can't stand watching along with that b*tch 14th."

...
The two relaxed in their hut, spending time together until the elimination round was over.
"Twenty-six students were eliminated from our section. It means our dorm lost more than half of its members. Maybe we should move there?" Hiro suggested, rubbing his chin thoughtfully.
"Do you want to move there?" Kyren asked, looking out the window with a distant gaze.
"Nah, I'd rather stay here until we graduate," Hiro replied, flopping onto his bed with a sigh.
"Yeah, me too," Kyren agreed, stretching his arms above his head.
After a moment, they heard a loud blast coming from the arena, causing the ground to shake slightly. The sound was so jarring that both of them jumped to their feet.
"Damn, Kyren, what was that?" Hiro exclaimed, his eyes wide with shock.
"I don't know. Maybe the elimination exam is reaching its climax," Kyren speculated, his brow furrowing with concern.
"Should we go back and watch the event?" Hiro asked, already moving towards the door.
"Are you okay now?" Kyren inquired, grabbing his jacket from the hook by the door.
"Yeah, let's go," Hiro said, pulling on his shoes hurriedly.
The two quickly returned to the event hall, the tension in the air palpable. They were greeted by the sight of Zeeha, who was still visibly shaken. Her hands were trembling, and her face was pale with fear.
"That Aolomon... is a monster..." Zeeha’s voice was barely a whisper, her eyes wide with disbelief.
"What happened?" Hiro asked, his voice tense with curiosity.
"He didn't take the immunity and joined the elimination round and..." Zeeha stammered, her gaze darting around the room as if looking for some sign of relief. "He knocked everyone out in the arena, including his entire section. He's the only one standing."
"Bravo, GA 10th," the Vice President clapped at Aolomon, a smirk playing on his lips. He stepped forward, his eyes gleaming with approval. "If you continue doing that, our session will be over soon, and I'd take it."
Meanwhile, Aolomon stood in the arena, his posture relaxed, as if the chaos around him had never touched him. He was unscratched, not a single drop of sweat on his brow, and his expression was one of eager anticipation. The arena sun lights glinted off his confident smile, and he looked around as if daring anyone to challenge him.
"You are now my favorite student in this batch. Keep it up," the Vice President said, his voice laced with admiration. He raised his hand in a slow clap, the sound echoing through the hall, making the atmosphere even more electrifying.
"And for your reward, I'd like you to choose: which section do you want to join, and which section should GA 9th belong to?" the Vice President asked, his voice resonating with authority.
Aolomon smirked and replied, "Well, Lord Handsome Devil, I would like to challenge myself. I'd like to participate in the upcoming elimination round along with Section 2, battling against Section 1. As for GA 9th, I don't mind where she goes."
"That's a great answer. I like your spirit. Okay, get off the stage, and we will begin the next round. Wait for the round where Section 1 and Section 2 battle," the Vice President said, his eyes gleaming with excitement.
Just as Aolomon was stepping down from the stage, Rayn interjected, her voice clear and resolute. "Mr. Vice President, I'd like to revoke my immunity and for the other five students to join my section. I can't let them battle without a GA on their side."
The room fell silent, the atmosphere thick with shock. All eyes turned to Rayn, who stood tall and determined.
"Ohhhh, another GA accepting the challenge," the Vice President exclaimed, his expression one of delighted surprise. "This is the most entertaining batch I've ever watched. Alright, I grant your request."
Another GA stepped forward. "Mr. Vice President, I'd like to join the battlefield as well," the second GA said.
"All right, all right, let's begin the next round. I can't wait to see the main event," the Vice President said, his interest now focused on the impending clash between the first and second sections, losing interest in the rest of the battles.
