CH 25 - 16 Guardian Angels

The demon student attempted to continue the fight, but the front man swiftly countered, his movements precise and controlled. With a resounding thud, he knocked the demon student to the ground with the force of his shield, the impact reverberating through the hall. Once the demon student was on the ground, another member of the front man's team moved swiftly, chains clinking as they bound the fallen student, restricting his movements.

"You've been defeated by a human you discriminate," the front man remarked, his gaze unwavering as he looked down at the demon student, his tone a mixture of disappointment and resolve. "Use all your roots. I'll block them all."

The demon student, fueled by fury and humiliation, struggled against the chains that bound him, his eyes blazing with unbridled rage. He was about to launch another verbal assault when his tirade was abruptly cut short by the arrival of the Vice Leader of the AL Guild.

"Enough with the child's play, Batch 4 Students. This is not your playground, though it might seem like one today," he said with a wry smile, attempting to inject a bit of levity into the tense atmosphere. "We have the list of all of you. Find your given section listed on that wall," he gestured towards the officials working on posting the list, "We will have a total of 16 sections."

As the students began to disperse towards the wall, the handsome prodigy continued, his voice commanding attention, "And it's in order. Section 1 will comprise the most talented and highest results on the qualification exam, while the 16th section will be... well, the opposite, as you might have guessed."

"But that's not all we have here," the handsome prodigy added, his words drawing curious glances from the gathered students. "We will be conducting the coronation of the 16 Guardian Angels of Batch 4 Sky Academy."

"Guardian... angels?" Hiro paused and asked Kyren, his confusion evident.

"I have an idea about it, but let's hear what he has to say," Kyren replied.

"Some of you already know how the Sky Academy works, but for those who don't, the GAs are the top-ranking students of each section," the Vice Leader explained, his voice loud and clear, carrying the weight of authority. "They are granted special powers that allow them to adjust the rules of the school or have special rights and immunity to some elimination exams. By defending the majority vote of all 16 GAs, it means you are likely to pass the Sky Academy if you are one of the GAs."

"I see. Hiro, remember what Pat said about her being the leader of their section? She's talking about this one. She's a GA from their section," Kyren said.

Hiro was still processing the information. "I see, I see."

"So from now on, we will have a short break and find your allocated section students," the Handsome Prodigy announced.

"Let's go, Kyren," Hiro urged, rushing to check the posted list.

They began by looking at section 1, feeling optimistic after their performance in the qualification exam. However, after not finding their names in sections 1 through 6, they started to feel nervous. They continued searching through sections 7 to 13 but still couldn't find their names.

"Hiro, this is bad," Kyren said, realizing they had likely been classified as having poor performance in the qualification exam.

"It's okay, Kyren. We still have sections 14 and 15," Hiro reassured him, though his disappointment was evident.

After checking sections 14 and 15, they still couldn't find their names. Hoping there was a mistake, they looked at section 16, but to their dismay, they found their names listed at the very bottom of all students.

The Handsome Prodigy's comeback began with the coronation of the 16th Guardian Angel (GA). "Okay, Batch 4 students, we will now commence the coronation of the 16 GAs. When I call your name, please come to the stage. Let's begin with section 16," he announced, double-checking the paper to ensure accuracy. "The 16th GA will be... Zeeha Rose, representing the human race." As Zeeha took the stage as the 16th GA, envious students from their batch eyed her throne.

The Handsome Prodigy proceeded to announce each GA from every section:

16th - Zeeha Cores, Human Race, Female, Aspiring for a starred badge in Executioner or Shooter.

15th - Crystalia Nirvana, Elf Race, Female, Aspiring for a starred badge in Executioner.

14th - Morgan Recca, Imp Race, Female, Aspiring for a starred badge in Healer or Defender.

13th - Plumie Riri, Pix Race, Female, Aspiring for a starred badge in Fighter or Executioner.

12th - Bea Fabia, Human Race, Female, Aspiring for a starred badge in Executioner or Shooter.

11th - Vilon Rose, Orc Race, Male, Aspiring for a starred badge in Shooter.

10th - Aolomon Donnie, Demon Race, Male, Aspiring for a starred badge in Fighter, Executioner, or Sorcerer.

9th - Yo Yong, Imp Race, Male, Aspiring for Fighter or Executioner.

8th - Dustian Hill, Orc Race, Male, Aspiring for Defender.

5th - Romeo Brian, Elf Race, Male, Aspiring for Shooter.

4th - Penny Pluma, Imp Race, Male, Aspiring for Fighter.

3rd - Roger Blake, Human Race, Male, Aspiring for Defender.

As the coronation continued, Kyren and Hiro noticed Roger Blake, the same student who had confronted the racist demon before, placing high among the Human Race representatives. They were surprised when The Handsome Prodigy announced the second and first positions.

"2nd - Ruzz Loud, Human Race, Male, Aspiring for Executioner.

1st - Rayn Princessmon, Babe Race, Female, Aspiring for Sorcerer/Shooter/Healer."

"What? Rayn the bitch is ranked number 1 among all of us?" Hiro mumbled, still feeling ashamed of what Rayn had done to him.

"Hiro, do you know what the 'Babe Race' is?" Kyren asked.

"I've never heard of it," Hiro replied. "I only know Human, Elf, Demon... hmm, Orc, Pix, and Divvy," he said, still trying to remember other races. "Maybe she's a rare one? I see, I see. That’s why she’s a weirdo."
