The students scrambled to the sides, creating a clear space in the middle where Hiro and Calir faced off. Meanwhile, Kyren was still pondering over what Hiro had hinted at him.
Calir unleashed a barrage of fire blasts at Hiro, who adeptly dodged them, causing some students behind him to be caught in the blasts.
"I see," Kyren muttered to himself, finally understanding Hiro's message. He realized that Hiro intended to use Calir's fire blasts to blast open the door and make their escape. Kyren quickly warned the students to move away from the door.
As Hiro attempted to charge at Calir, he found himself unable to get close due to the intense aura of fire surrounding Calir. However, Kyren noticed that Calir was nearing his limit, and he shouted out to Hiro, "Continue attacking, Hiro!" Kyren sensed that they don't need to create an escape path and Hiro had a chance to defeat Calir.
Without hesitation, Hiro charged forward, braving the flames emitted by Calir. He endured the heat, sustaining a slight burn, but managed to land a powerful punch on Calir's face, knocking him unconscious. The onlookers were stunned by Hiro's unexpected victory.
"Don't underestimate the power of the Human Race," Hiro declared triumphantly to the defeated Calir, who lay on the ground.
However, one of Calir's allies launched a cheap shot, striking Hiro with an Air Strike, causing him to stagger back with an open wound.
"Hiro!" Kyren exclaimed, leaping in to check on him. He looked around, searching for the culprit, but no one stepped forward to take responsibility.
Sparoo interjected, using his healing powers to mend both Calir and Hiro's wounds. He then turned his attention to the stone wall blocking the door and effortlessly destroyed it.
"Stop all of this nonsense. We're supposed to study and train here, not beat each other," Sparoo declared before walking out, leaving the room in silence.
"Hiro, let's get out of here too," Kyren suggested.
"Yeah," Hiro agreed.
They began to walk out, but before they could get far, Calir, still a sore loser, launched a fire blast at Kyren and Hiro. Anticipating the attack, the two managed to dodge it. However, their guard was down when three students combined their fire, air, and lightning roots and launched a powerful attack at them. Caught off guard, Kyren and Hiro were struck by the combined assault, sending them flying a long distance. They crashed into another section, breaking through the wall and narrowly avoiding serious injury due to the impact.

....
"Cough Cough Damn, Kyren, I almost died," Hiro exclaimed, still shaken from the attack.
"Yeah, me too," Kyren replied, struggling to move after the assault.
Kyren and Hiro shared a laugh despite the ordeal they had just experienced, unaware that they were now in the center of the room in Section 1, with all the students looking at them in shock.
"What happened?" the proctor of Section 1, interrupted her discussion to inquire.
Kyren and Hiro turned to face Proctor ARC, realizing her identity.
"Sorry, Proctor ARC, we've been having a tough time dealing with our section," Kyren explained with a smile.
"You guys are badly hurt," Proctor ARC observed, turning to Rayn in the front row. "Ms. 1st, Can you heal them up so they can leave?"
Rayn nodded, and with a snap of her fingers, she fully healed the two.
"Thank you, Proctor ARC," Hiro said, stretching his arms in relief.
"Thank you, Rayn..." Kyren began, but noticed Rayn's raised eyebrow. "I mean, thank you, Ms. 1st," he quickly corrected himself, understanding Rayn's desire for praise and recognition.
...
After they left.
"Kyren, did you catch on to what I hinted at during my fight with Calir?" Hiro asked proudly, feeling accomplished after executing his plan.
"Yeah, you wanted Calir to blast open the door, right?" Kyren confirmed.
"Yes! That's right, Kyren! Am I smart? Like you?" Hiro joked, attempting to mimic Kyren's typical demeanor. "But after you told me to keep attacking, I started to feel like I could beat Calir," Hiro added more seriously.
"Well, Hiro, Calir was eager to show off his power to impress our section and ended up falling pretty quickly," Kyren remarked.
"I see," Hiro nodded. "He's on our level but with powers. I think we can step up in our section, Kyren," he suggested optimistically.
"No, Hiro, but let's keep an eye on Sparoo," Kyren countered.
"He seems kind, though," Hiro pointed out.
Kyren paused, considering Hiro's perspective. He knew Sparoo was likely calculating and strategic. "He might seem that way, but I think he's always analyzing everyone in the section and not making reckless moves," Kyren explained.
"Is that what you think?" Hiro questioned, intrigued by Kyren's insight.
....
They continue to walk far from their section.
"Kyren, where are we going?" Hiro asked as they walked.
"We're heading to the library. We'll study there as much as we can. The library in this academy offers knowledge on anything you can imagine," Kyren replied.
"Man, that sounds boring," Hiro commented.
"Hiro, remember, our race's strength lies in our minds. We need to build our knowledge and focus on learning as much as we can," Kyren reminded him.
"Yeah, I guess you're right, but... can't we also do some physical training?" Hiro suggested.
"Yeah, we can. But, you know, Hiro, after we go to the library, aren't you impressed by how much we can learn there?" Kyren asked.
"Yeah, but..." Hiro still wasn't keen on spending all his time studying books in Sky Academy.
"Okay, let's do this: Every morning we will do the drill Patricia taught us, after that, I'll handle the studying in the library, and you can focus on learning some fighting techniques. We'll double our efforts. This will be our routine. We'll meet in the cafeteria in the late afternoon and exchange our training sessions at our improvised hut," Kyren proposed.
"That's a great idea, Kyren," Hiro agreed.
"But promise me, Hiro, don't go to any weird places here. Stick to the Training Hall," Kyren requested, offering a fist bump to seal the deal.
Hiro accepted it. "Let's do it, Kyren!"
