Present time
"Alright, so I'll begin, we had lived and frolicked happily in a village with our parents and villagers, until the beast had attacked. After watching our mother die in front of my eyes, I didn't know what had happened next. I found myself covered in blood and injuries a few days later. The beast and the village was of no more. So, I searched around, and found you guys trapped under the debris of our old house. Rescuing you guys, the momment the sunlight touched your faces, both of you fell face flat against the ground.
So I dragged along our tired and tattered bodies. Making a grave for mother and the other villagers, I left the moment I was done saying goodbye, and I'm pretty sure you guys would remember this part. Where you woke up in a forest, and asked me for your names."
Dominic summarized it in as little words as possible.
"No, that's not all is it? I mean I want to know who we are, what we were born to do" Mitsuha said.
"Well, you see, no one is born with a purpose, no one is born with reason, if it answers your question, I think that it is better to just sit back and watch some TV, talk about the boy you like, the hardships you experienced today, or perhaps the joy of everything else" Dominic replied.
"The only thing special about us other than our tradegic past, is that our mother is the descendent of the hero, so I guess that's it" Dominic ended.
"Wait" Benedict called out.
"You mentioned parents right? So where is our father? Did he die as well?" Benedict asked.
"I'm not sure really, he had left a few years ago prior to the incident to save his birthplace, acting like some sort of hero, maybe he had suceeded or failed, I don't know." Dominic told him.
"What was his name?" Benedict asked.
"Its? Uh... I forgot. ?" Dominic awkwardly replied.
"..." the sound of silence resonated through the entire room, as the cries of the croacking crows could be heard through the thin and flimsy walls.
.
.
.
"Well then, if that's enough, I think I'll be going to sleep now" Dominic told them, before retiring on the sofa.
Two souls had been washed over, as their minds subconsiously try to bring together their fragmented and disregarded memory. Little did they know, it was a self-defence mechanism that their minds are using to protect them.
As the two geniuses unlock the mystery of their own memories, the sound of two bodies hitting the ground could be heard loud and clearly.

In a certain little girl's head
"Mummmmmmmmmy......"a tender sweet and innocent voice sounded out.
"Yes dear?"replied a motherly,warm and gentle tone,as the mother caught her sweet little daughter in her embrace.
"Brotherss sssccarryyy"said the daughter as she points her finger towards her brother.
"ALL HAIL THE MIGHTY POTATO!" shouted the person in question, as he raised up two potatoes above his head.
Ahead, The 11 year old Benedict looking at his younger brother could only shake his head and sigh. As he stroked the rabbit he saved with his hands.
"Dominic."a stern cool voice coming from a once gentle and warm mouth called out.

It was a pleasant morning as usual by this little mountain village.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Good Morning shorty oji!"the morning call of the young little girl brought the dwarf neighbour's face to a bright red.
"Good morning to you too firefire"as the little girl greeted the flame that seems to wave at her behind the dwarf.
Today,
The mother and daughter along with Benedict are going to release the injured rabbit Benedict found and cared for. Of course greeting the neighbours along the way IS the little girls specialty after all.
"Come on darling, say your goodbyes" the mother urged her son gently as they squated down by the forest next to the mountain.
"Guess.. this. Is ..it..bye bye.." said her eldest child as he let the bunny go from his embrace. Tears fell from his cheeks as he tried his best not to bawl. After all , releasing a friend you known for 3 years is hard after all.
The mother gently watches her son shed his tears before noticing that her daughter was also crying.
*Pak Pak* she gently strokes the head of her two children.
.
.
.
.
.
"HURRY RUNN!!!!" A loud shout broke the pleasant atmosphere as the alarms of the village were sounded.
The mother of the young little girl grabbed ahold of her hand, and quickly teleported her away.
The little girl found herself with her oldest brother, Benedict staring blankly at each other in their old living room.
"I'm going to grab Dominic!" their mother had shouted before she left.
The house collapsed. Trap within it were the 6 year old mitsuha and her 11 year old brother, Benedict.
They were enveloped in absolute and complete darkness.
The mountain bore a hole through the initial death ray. Causing the mountain to pile above on the rubbles of the house.
Either through a miracle or blessing, the two siblings were piled upon each other.with barely enough oxygen or even space, and with the lack of food and water, the siblings for better or worse, survived.
*Rummmble*
Each time the earth shook, the rubble presses down closer towards the two siblings. Surviving without food or water, living in absolute darkness. Fearing for the end as the earth shakes each time. The ceiling caved in slowly each and everyday.
Slowly but surely, a trauma had bore it's way towards the deepest parts of the hearts of the siblings.
..........
.....
....
5 days had passed. The rumbling stopped.
"Hang in there" urged her brother. However she couldn't see him. Though she heard him she was too tired, too thirsty ,too hungry and much too afraid. Her eyes flickered on and off multiple times. In this five days of hell, strangely all thats left within her was a desire to feel the warmth embrace of light.........
As she was giving up, her brother sparked a bright light from his back. It was a plain yellow electric bolt . However to her whom has not seen anything for 5 days, it was beautiful.
So..... she held on... Just a little bit longer...
*Baaanag*
"Ah.." too tired to even scream, she muttered in a small voice.
Preparing for death, she closed her eyes.
.
.
.
When she opened them again.
The rubble above her was gone
And ahead was her brother.. Dominic, stretching his hand out towards both of them.
With that, her world faded into darkness.
In a certain hero's head
It was painful. So painful.
I found myself struggling agaisnt the ground, attempting to breathe in whatever bits of oxygen there was around me.
My miserable face scrapped against the ground, as I attempted to survive for as long as I could.
The shaking didn't help either.
As I was about to give in, I notcied my younger sister, a ripe tender age of 6, trying her best to live and cry out.
Heh, what kind of brother was I, to simply die right here?
Creating a small amount of electricity on my hand, I watched it dance around, and sustain itself from my strength.
If i get through this, I guess I'll be eating from uncle apif's store again.
I tried to cheer myself up.
After all, the fact that there was no other sound aside from the shaking, only proves to me that no one else.. had made it.
No, I can't give up.
There has to be hope.
Somewhere.
I see the rubble being blown aside above us. And ahead, I found my younger brother, drenched in blood, reaching his hands out towards us.
"Ah"
With that, I fainted.
I remember waking up in a forest shortly after, where my brother told us of our relations as siblings and our names. Nothing more, nothing less.
For some reason, we found ourselves rather deep inside a dense jungle, where there was already a campfire built to warm us up.
He had brought a set of tools, hammers, nails, screwdrivers, a saw, and a sword.
Without a doubt, he had taken them from the old dwarve's store.
But at that time, I didn't even reconigize anything.
He told us we lost our memories upon hitting our head, and we were people who had lived our whole lives in the wilderness.
I should have noticed, that our clothes told a different story. That our freshly trimmed nails had a reason behind them, that our first time killing an animal had caused us to vomit. I should have known.
----------------------------------------
----------------------------------------
The two woke up at almost the same time. Almost as though they have planned it a long time ago.
"I'm going out for some fresh air" Benedict declared to no one in particular, before exiting the house.
Mitsuha quietly went back to her room.
For the first time, the household truly didn't make a single sound.
