"What's that in your hand?" asked Kitzuma, as he followed along the tiny figure of the mage.
"Its a magic tool that points towards the city" the mage said, as she held something akin to a compass in her hands. However, instead of pointing towards the usual NSEW, it simply pointed an arrow towards a direction, that changes as the move along different angles.
"We were given one in case we got lost in the wilderness. " the mage said so matter of factly.
"Can't we just teleport there?" complained an archpriest, as the simmering heat of the sun attempts to destroy her "I'm ready!" mentality.
"Just estimating, how long will this trip take?" Dominic asked Kitzuma.
"Probably around a month to arrive, and maybe more depending on what happens along the way." he replied Dominic without hesitation.
"I am one with the earth, what comes will go...." the guild member appeared to be chanting something under his breath, as he had the look of an enightened person willing to forgive even the worst of sins.
"Its pretty strange that monsters haven't attacked us yet in this forest" the magic swordsman commented.
They were currently in some strange jungle, it was apparently a popular place for nasty insect type monsters to live in.
A giant spider's figure was noticed by Kitzuma, as the group prepared itself. Then, they noticed more and more giant spiders. They were B class monsters alone, dangerous as it is alone already, due to their poison and nimble movements beyond their size.
"They are trying to encast us in webs!"Kitzuma screamed, as he noticed the surrounding trees begin to be dyed in white, as a cacoon like thing had been build to surround them in a 360 degrees sphere. It was done in a matter of seconds, as they saw 8 glowing eyes in the darkness. Then 16...24...32...40....104...
"Aren't these Enlightened Giant Spiders?! Why are they working in a group to surround us!? Each of these things are at least a B+!" Kitzuma panicked.
A spider leapt out from the darkness towards them, as fire magic sprouted out from the young looking mage.
"FireHaven!" she screamed out, as the surroundings erupted in a sea of flames. Igniting the trees, as well as the incoming spiders in flames. It was rather massive.
"That's some strong magic for someone who doesn't specialise in fire magic..." Dominic commented. And then, he looked at the mage who appeared to barely be able to even stand.
"...oh..." Dominic understood. She probably expended all her mana just to cast that.
KItzuma rushed forward to save her from the flames she casted herself, as Perlin appeared to be buffing...the monsters?
"Stop running around! Its hard to hit you with my spells!" the archpriest complained, as she appeared to be trying to buff the magic swordsman facing off against the giant spiders.
"STOP MAKING THEM STRONGER!" the swordsman screamed, as he was blown away by a group of spiders.
"I'll protect you, so just fire your magic at will" the crusader told the mage...Linda was it? Who stood behind and summoned small lightning strikes, and shot similiar beams with her staff.
"Here, let me hide you" the guild member casted the hiding skill on Dominic, which was not working in any way, but they couldn't be bothered.
"Give me some" the guild member told Dominic, as Dominic passed him some of the chips he was eating.
It was like watching an action movie, but in 4d with the smell, feel and everything present.

"Don't you need to help them or something?" Dominic asked.
"Im just here to collect the money" he replied.

A few hours had passed, before the commotion settled down.
"That was the hardest battle in my entire life..." the magic swordsman sighed, as he laid down exhausted on the ground.
"Yeah, tell me about it. A group of monsters, intellectual and fast, not to mention deadly were so strong. But what made matters worse was..." Kitzuma looked towards his party member who had been buffing the monsters.
"I apologize" he said, as he caught his breath.
"Alright then, does anyone need healing?" the archpriest asked, as she happily made her rounds, thinking that she had contributed to the battle greatly.
Unlike the dungeons, the monsters don't drop money in the wild, as the parts were placed withing their inventories separetly, to be sold to the guild for its own uses.
"Let's continue!~" Dominic lightly said, as he used the magic tool of the mage and walked ahead.
"So fast!? No wait. Hey!" the tired adventurers could only trudge along, barely being able to keep up.

Benedict POV
A devil tried to attack me once again.
These guys were dangerous.
Even without trying, their high physical and not to menton magical abilities were shown. The ground was ripped out when they missed me. They repaired it seamlessly with ease as well using magic, before thinking it was just their imagination and moving along.
So far, I could gather that we were being treated as some sort of players in a gameshow. Which means, that there had to be a host somewher who was in charge of this. Not only that, it also meant that there had to be a venue somewhere in hell that was used to do this.
Nearby, devils drank blood like alcohol, as they placed money and bet on who would be the next one to die.
In the screen, at a corner, hung our potraits. There was a big red X marked across my face. They thought I was dead. Which allowed me to be off their radar for now.
"Man, I heard that they were going to transform jgtuien city into the final stage of hell in that gameshow! Isn't that awesome?" a devil who was drunk on blood told his friends.
"Yeah, and what makes it even better is that the monsters there are even out of our control! You know what, if they even make it to the last stage, I'll bet all my money that they would all die there." the devil laughed.
This was a really good piece of information. But I have to get him to tell me where exactly is that jgtuein he spoke of. If I could just get there, perhaps there might be hopes of reuninting with them.
I slowly waited nearby. It was a good thing that it didn't take alot of pisonic power to sustain this ability for long hours. If I tried, perhaps I could even last a week straight.
After 3 hours, the devil left the shop where he and his friends stood and chatted.
"I smell a soul..." he muttered, as he swung at me suddenly. I dodged.
"Must be the blood..." he said, as he continued on his way.
He headed towards a builiding that looked to be the apartment he resided within. In fact, it was an apartment.
I sneaked along into the elevator. Why do they even use elevators if they can fly?
The devil unsuspectingly was pressing on his nose, unsure why the stench of a human was so strong.
From his inventory, the devil took out his keys, and unlocked his apartment door. I followed him in.
Good.
He lived alone.
I took my sword out of my inventory. I don't know if this was a good idea, but it was my only chance. Against the average devil I saw on my way here, I could hold them down in a 1v1 situation. Added on to my element of suprise, this was a good chance.
My sword touched his throat, barely piercing it.
My invisibilty broke, as I whispered next to him.
"How do I get to jgtuien?" I asked.
"Insolent human...." he began.
My sword moved closer through his throat.
"Answer me" I demanded.
"The hell train. It comes tommorow, take it, and come out on the second stop. That's where you would want to alight" he stated.
"Thanks" I said, as my sword lopped off his head. I had to make sure that there were no witnesses. But they were devils, I had no garuntee if he would die from his head being chopped off. Perhaps they were quite similiar to vampires?
From my inventory, I took out my math textbook. According to legends, I guess I would have to use a wooden stick. But since paper is made out of wood as well, I guess this will suffice.
I slammed the edge of the text book through his body, as I noticed his body moving to stop me.
"STOP" the head shouted.
But it was too late.
He wasn't fast enough. If I was just some average Joe, without a doubt, his hand would have pierced my head.
I looked at the hand that was mere millimeters away from my neck.
The math textbook stuck through his heart, as he finally stopped moving completely. His head dissapeared in a poof of black smoke along with the body. Leaving the textbook that was stained with black blood on the floor.
NEW TITLE: DEVIL SLAYER
System granted for having killed a true blood devil.
The tittle somehow brought a smile to my mouth, as it confirmed the fact that I had killed off that devil.
Alright then, taking advantage of his house, I slept to recover. Hidden in his bedroom, I slept. It was soft and comfortable, something that I haven't experienced in quite some time.
