"What now? It appeared that our plan has failed." in a certain dark room in a certain academic city, one of the directors of the city spoke out.
"Its alright, David doesn't know. We just have to wait until thoese two die, and send the siblings and other potentials to find their bodies as an excuse" a director replied.
"But what if in to off chance, that they actually conquered the dungeon?" an enquiry popped out.
"Like you said, its and off-chance." another one rebutted.
"Relax, its one of the 72 dungeons of the great Solomon himself. A support as well as the oddball doesn't stand a chance, especially since the oddball hasn't awakened his pisonic abilities or actually any ability so far" a voice affirmed.
"As a person who has conquered one of this dungeons, I'll say this." a voice resounded through the room.
"Even with an entire party of SSS rank adventurers, they might still fail to complete the entire dungeon, and even be wiped out. After all, there are no safe zones in there." he stated.
With the inclusion of a no safe-zone, it meant that they would be taken out by fatigue as well.
"So what do we do now?" another voice asked.
"Just wait. We will act accordingly to ensure that the prophecy comes through" the leader, the only figure standing up announced.
"Even if it were to fail, there's no garuntee that this is the dungeon the hero's denscendent was prophecized to conquer." he continued.
"But this is... a dungeon of SOLOMON. Do you know how rare..."
"I do. But there's still a long way to go. 300 years. That is the day chaos descends once again" solemmly, he assured.
"What if either Mitsuha or Benedict had a child by then?! Won't that mean they aren't the prophecized ones?" asked a person in doubt.
"Have you heard the prophecy? It stated that they are the ones who COME to the ctiy in a group of THREE. Meaning they weren't born from here" he clarifeid.

Dominic and Matthew continued down another floor, it was swarming with magical beasts, they took the form of trees, rocks, and even grass, as the floor had a fake sun within it.
Naturally, the monsters were pointed out by Dominic, in the end, revealing it to be every single thing they see other than the dirt on the floor.
Dominic had reloaded his gun about at least 8 times since they had entered the dungeon. In just two more, he would run out of ammutaion. Hence, he had to conserve them.
The hole bore its way through the heads of the magical beasts after being concentratedly fired upon a single spot multiple times. For each beast, it was quite a hassle.
In the end, they ran away, barely managing to get away unscathed. As the floor sank down below them once again.
Floor #41 Monster parade with everything other than the floor being a monster. Matthew noted down.
He was also suprised, when the fake sun started to shoot fireballs at them.
The next floor was worse.
Recently, there had been lesser and lesser traps, but more monsters to face. There were riddles and such which they solved through brute force. Matthew had no idea how Dominic managed to create a hole in thoese walls, but he kept quiet about it anyways.
They were greeted by a dragon which breathed down fire upon their entrance.
Immediately, they sprung aside. Matthew's survival instincts were truly honed to its finest in this journey. He laid flat upon the ground, as a giant cleaver swiped ahead over him from the walls.
Matthew looked over, he noticed Dominic switching weapons on the ground.
It was an anti-tank sniper. One of the latest models capable of piercing the magically reinforced armor of the tanks nowadays.
He shot, and reloaded almost instantly and fired once again towards the dragon's eye. Right on the spot, two bullets nailed each other like a hammer and a nail, forcing the bullet to enter the brain through the eye. Matthew could only marvel at the skill Dominic displayed with his weapons.
The dragon rages, destroying the cleavers ahead, before its life came to an end.
"Was that the final boss?" Matthew was rather relieved. Dragons. A full grown red one was sufficient to be the final boss of even an SS rank dungeon.
However, reality was far too cruel.
The room began to collapse, as they dived ahead towards the staircase. The room was small and narrow for one hosting a dragon.
The walls crumbled, as Matthew knew he would not make it in time. And in the next momment, he found himself at the other end of the collapsed entrance. In Dominic's arm, held under his armpit like a luggage.
He deemed Dominic capable of sudden bursts of highspeed movement. Probably a skill or some sort. It had already happened various times in the dungeon.
"You want to take a break or do you want to move on?" Dominic asked.
"Let's go" he replied.
Dominic smiled, as he could see the improvement in Matthew who was constantly screaming from muscle aches and bruises at the start of the dungeon.
And once again, they descended.
