"So there we were, walking admist the darkness, when suddenly, a dragon appeared!" boasted a certain non-ledgit mage.
"Taking the stance to fight, we had a harsh and brutal battle, the dragon screamed, as it succumbed to the might of my fire magic, and with its final stand, it blew us off the cliff, and we ended up being washed down a river." she bullshitted through and through.
"Ehh??" the children's eyes were sparkling, causing even the most foolish of mages to feel embarassed.
"So what really happened?" they asked.
In fact, children were no fools. They understand when an adult is lying just to show off as well.
"We ran away and fell down a cliff" Kitzuma replied.
"Hahahaha as expected of Rachel" the children laughed.
For some reason, Benedict found himself drawn into this spectacle. It was rather peaceful, something he missed.
"So then, with the contracter in lead, we climbed up a steep slope, and found ourselves in the town of Henesia. There, we rested for a day and headed on to fight against the infamous rookie killer that resided near the town. It was a worm like monster, rendering even the strongest vanguard on our team useless(the magicswordsman). It was venemous, none of us could get close, even my strongest fire magic bounced off harmlessly. That was when the contracter revealed himself as a gunslinger! With my awesome directing, he took out the worm in one shot"
This piqued the interest of Benedict and the rest.
"A strong gunslinger...its just a coincidence...right?" Benedict had this strange feeling of deja vu.
"Woahh, a gunslinger sounds so cool" the children's eyes sparkled once again.
"After which...."
"It was the usual monster fighting, where we took on the strongest beasts of each region." she continued.
"Well, its more like we ran away from most of them though..." Kitzuma scratched his cheek as he awkwardly cut in.
"Silence fool" the richest person ( who became leader) made him shut up.
"Alright, so we rented a carriage in the next town, and passed along a few days of uneventful events. The contracter, was a evil devil, with his black hair and normal look, he laid down on a materess, safe from the ruthless shaking of the carriage, as he watched us suffer with merciless eyes."
Kitzuma nodded his head.
"And that was when we came to meet with a town under the seige of the evil kingdom! They wore blue armor, and claim to be searching for a criminal, but in reality, they were destroying the town, taking away the rights of the people, just for their own self justification and pleasure!"the mage declared.
A case of literary theft: this tale is not rightfully on Amazon; if you see it, report the violation.
"With Kitzuma and two others, an inferior mage and a crusader, we rushed forward!"
"to restraint our hopeless 2 comrades attempting to take on an entire army." Kitzuma added on.
"Who are you calling hopeless?!" rebutted the archpriest who had already spent all her earnings on alcohol and clothes with no remorse.
"But alas, we could only succumb to the pressure of the army and were locked up together in a cage." she added on.
"However! That was merely part of my plan! As expected, the contracter came into the rescue and broke us out!"
"We were then headed into the middle of the enemy forces inside a defenseless carriage, where the inferior mage finally proved herself useful. She shielded the carriage barely from the barrage, as the rest of us got out to take on the entire enemy force"
"It was our counter attack! And with that, we triumphed and drove them away!"
The children looked towards Kitzuma, their eyes looking for answers.
"Well, the crusader threw a C4 that miraculously landed and killed the prince leading the army, and the soldiers who didn't want to do it in the first place, simply left." Kitzuma told them.
"Oohhh!" the children happily cheered.
"Furthermore, the army that declared their intention to return the next day never did, for they fear our might!" the mage added on.
"They probably forgot about this nameless village, and since we were dead drunk anyways, we had forgotten all about it until we left for the next town as well" Kitzuma countered.
"Why are you defying me ! I'm the leader!' the mage declared.
"Oh right, with your donations, that makes me the richest now you know?" Kitzuma replied.
"This..."
"No way...."
The mage felll on the floor, in despair.
"So now for you guys to tell your story!" the mage redirected at Benedict and the rest, who were drawn into the happy atmosphere.
"Oh, well our adventure is abit different..." Benedict began.
In his story, he refered to Mr David as teacher, without mentioning the name, however the women in charge already got the hint.
He talked about how the suffered as the playthings of the Devils, censoring paticularly grosteque parts, how they managed to escape in an anti climatic note in the end. However, he made it sound as exciting as possible, perhaps for the children in the orphanage to enjoy.
"That must be one exciting journey!" the mage and archpriest with the mindset of a child, had their eyes sparkle.
"It was so sad though... why does that teacher have to die?!" the children complained.
"Alright then children, go outside and play" the women said.
After the children left, she broke down in tears.
"Oh...david..." she sulked.
"There's so much I still have to hear from you"
And then, a certain archpriest who couldn't read the mood shouted.
"REVIVAL!" and casted her spell.
From the old looking bow straped behind Risha's back, a white glow flew out and took human shape.
And then, Mr David suddenly came back from the dead.
"So this is the David you guys were talking about? Now you can ask him anything!" the archpriest with no ill intent happily announced.
The others could only flush red in embarassment, as they saw Mr David awkwardly scratching his cheek infront of them.
"Uhm.. hi?" he greeted.

"So what was that spell?" asked Mitsuha, curious.
It appeared to be some sort of ultimate magic, no.. even beyond that. It allowed for one to manupilate life and death. Something not beyond the likes of ultimate magic, but simply different.
"Oh.. this? Ahahaha, well, I learnt it in the one time usage , forbidden codex hidden inside the village head's room. Since I was scared they'll punish me, I left the village the next day." the priest happily laughed as she said so.
"It uses up like some mana, but as long as the soul is still around, I can revive them even without the body!" she happily announced.
Somewhere in the academic city, a certain information broker silently laughed to himself.
