Nobody replied him.
Very few would have answers to this question. So what if the people who used to live here knew the answer?
The entire place was completely empty. There was no one to be found.
Jiang Ning sighed. There was no response from the pond water at all. It seemed like ordinary water again.
He dropped his hands to the side and looked at the mist swirling above the pond water. This content is © .
"If you want to tell me something, then please tell me," said Jiang Ning. "Every bit of information is important."
He didn't say anymore and left with everyone as well as some of the water from the pond.
He was surprised that the wolves and Fang Qiu didn't undergo any transformation after coming to the Heavenly palace again. This wasn't what
he had imagined.
But there was nothing he could do about it.
They all returned to Donghai.
Peter Pan also shook his head when he found out what happened. "That's impossible. That's absolutely impossible."
He didn't believe it, so he checked all the wolves personally. Their bodies really hadn't changed at all. "How can this be?"
Peter Pan glanced at Jiang Ning. "You really didn't discover any other anomalies?"
"No." Jiang Ning shook his head.
Everything was exactly the same as when he left it, except that there was more water in the pond now. But there was nothing different about the pond water itself. "That's impossible." Peter Pan still found it hard to believe. "It's the water from the Longevity Pond, so there's got to be some effect. Even an ordinary person would gain
much from it."
He had experienced it himself personally and knew very well what this water could do. How could it have absolutely no effect on the wolves? He couldn't figure it out.
"Could it be because they had already gone through a transformation before this, so there's no effect now?"
Peter Pan had used an ancient method which made use of herbs to agitate their bodies and improve their skills. Could that be the problem?
"Humph, you're underestimating the power of the water in the Longevity Pond," scoffed Peter Pan.
He wanted to say that Jiang Ning had thought too highly of him.
There was no way any method of his could compare to the power of the water from the Longevity Pond.
"Let me think." He waved his hands about. "Maybe it's the method that's incorrect."
Perhaps they had to drink the water in order to change their bodies.
But the wolves were not as strong and powerful as Peter Pan, so Jiang Ning didn't dare to let them drink any of it. If anything untoward happened to them, he would be filled with regret.
"If only there was a way to take the
good stuff out from this water and make it weaker so that it doesn't do the body any damage. That would be great." Peter Pan sighed. He knew that whatever he just said was just his wishful thinking.
But Jiang Ning's eyes lit up and he stared straight at Peter Pan. Peter Pan felt his hair all stand on end.
"Don't look at me like that. I can't possibly do that." If he could, he wouldn't be wasting time talking here.
"But I can!" said Jiang Ning.
It was Peter Pan's turn to stare dumbly at Jiang Ning.
Jiang Ning could do this?
"An elderly person at home is a treasure indeed! What a wonderful phrase!" Jiang Ning smiled and just left without explaining too much. Peter Pan had no idea what just happened. Peter Pan's word had reminded him. He had nearly forgotten that there was such a thing as extraction technology.
This was a modern advanced sort of
technology there was a chance
del
it worked on these legendary and mysterious things. Even if the actual technology couldn't do it, perhaps his formation lines could help with a thing or two. It was worth a shot.
Jiang Ning immediately sent the water to the lab as he talked to Professor Lu about it. At the same time, he invited some experts in this field to discuss if it was possible to completely breakdown and analyze the components of the water in
the Longevity Pond.
Or at least, they could first try with high tech machines.
If they could decode the secrets of the Longevity Pond water, that would really bring mankind another step forward.
