CHAPTER 1686 CATERING TO ONE'S PREFERENCE

"Here's the manual," said the auctioneer as he carefully removed it and handed it to Jiang Ning with both hands. "Please check."

Jiang Ning glanced at it before stuffing it into his pocket, leaving everyone speechless.

He honestly didn't seem to care about it.

"US$300 billion...US$300 billion!"

Many of their eyes turned red.

Jiang Ning seriously had the money.

He had the money and could even spend billions so casually like it was $300.

Lee Seongbong had already taken care of his injuries and was standing in the distance at the door silently.

Fang Yin stood behind him with his face sunken. He quietly looked at Jiang Ning with the manual in his hand without saying a word.

That was Jiang Ning's seventh page.

All he needed was two more pages to complete it.

Jiang Ning suddenly turned his head and looked in Lee Seongbong's direction. Fang Yin instantly noticed his gaze landing on him!

"Let's go!" he said quietly before he turned to leave without stopping.

Now was not the time to get into a head-on conflict with Jiang Ning.

This time, they were defeated by Jiang Ning's vast wealth and were completely crushed by it.

If there was anything in the world that could make him feel more defeated than his martial arts capabilities...

Money!

It was money!

"Mr Jiang, congratulations for getting what

you wanted."

The auctioneer beamed brightly. His cut of the commission was enough for him to retire early and enjoy life.

"Mr Ko would like to see you. Is it alright if you come with me now?"

"Let's go," said Jiang Ning as he nodded.

The auctioneer led them in with a smile. He completely disregarded the other attendees present...since they weren't worth much anymore.

This was Ko San's estate, so they wouldn't dare do anything funny.

The estate was huge, so Jiang Ning might get lost if he wasn't shown the way in.

The auctioneer led Jiang Ning and Fei in. After going past several corridors and making many turns, they finally arrived at the inner quarters.

"Mr Ko is inside. Please go ahead, Mr Jiang."

Then the auctioneer turned to look at Fei. "Mr Fei, this way, please. Mr Ko would like to speak to Mr Jiang alone.”

Fei raised his head and looked at Jiang Ning before nodding.

Then they split ways without saying a word.

They didn't think there was anything in Ko San's estate that could threaten Jiang Ning.

Jiang Ning walked into the inner quarters. From a distance, he could see an open door. The light fragrance of tea drifted out from inside, and it was clearly Jiang Ning's favorite tea.

Things were getting interesting now.

Jiang Ning entered to see a bald middle-aged man of an average build sitting in front of the coffee table. He looked somewhat comical and smiled genially.

"I've heard so much about you, Mr Jiang. You're quite a promising young man."

"Really? When did you hear about me?” Content protected by Nôv/el(D)rama.Org.

Jiang Ning walked right in without holding back on formalities and sat down before he picked up the tea on the table. "Do you like this tea too?"

"I was catering to your preference."

Ko San smiled and spoke candidly.

The two of them looked at each other and they both smiled.

"The first time I heard about Mr Jiang was eight years ago at a battle in the Middle East.”

Ko San's eyes gleamed brightly.

"I was a nobody back then and could get killed anytime because I had a powerful enemy,” said Ko San as he laughed. "But one day, my enemy suddenly died at the hands of an even more powerful opponent!"
