CHAPTER 1910 MY DREAM
"Alright," Xiaozhao could only nod and walked out of the office to get the reports.
She returned to her desk and gathered everything together before sighing out loud.
"CEO Lin is working too hard and she's not taking care of her body. How heartbreaking."
"What else can I help her with?"
Lin Group was always in need of talents. Even though they had hired many of them already, their business was expanding faster than the number of talents could come in, so they never had enough!
As a result, Lin Yuzhen had to continue to shoulder much of the burden.
Xiaozhao took a deep breath and carried a huge stack of documents as she headed for Lin Yuzhen's office again when someone stood in her way.
"Move aside, I need to..." She had just opened her mouth when she looked up in delight. Jiang Ning put a finger on his lips to tell her not to say anything.
'Til bring these in."
"Ok!" whispered Xiaozhao immediately.
"CEO Lin has been working very hard lately, so if you didn't come back earlier, she might die working!"
"This is very important information. I'll reward you for it later," said Jiang Ning.
Then he took all the documents from Xiaozhao and walked into Lin Yuzhen's office.
Lin Yuzhen was leaning back in her chair as she shut her eyes to take a quick nap. She heard footsteps entering her office but didn't open her eyes.
"Just leave everything on my desk," she said quietly. 'Til look at it in a while."
Jiang Ning put everything down, then walked behind Lin Yuzhen and placed both hands gently on her shoulders.
Lin Yuzhen immediately opened her eyes and was as sensitive as a little lion!
She spun around and her eyes immediately reddened when she saw Jiang Ning's face.
"When did you come back? Why didn't you tell me!"
"Sit still," said Jiang Ning. 'Til massage your shoulders for a while."
"If I don't come back secretly, I wouldn't know that you would keep working so hard behind my back."
"So you've learnt to put up an act in front of me, huh?"
Lin Yuzhen was a little embarrassed as she said, "That's not true."
"Didn't I say before that you just work as much as you can handle, then delegate everything that should be delegated? And didn't I say that if there aren't enough people, you can go ahead and hire more and give them whatever salary is
required?"
"You did."
"And didn't I say before that I let you take charge of Lin Group because I wanted you to be able to fulfil your dreams and not to tire yourself out?"
"You did."
"And didn't I also say before that if you became too tired, I'd shut Lin Group down?"
"You...did..."
Lin Yuzhen became anxious. "But don't do that!"
She knew that Jiang Ning was concerned about her and never liked seeing her too tired out.
But if he threatened to close the company, he might really do that!
"I'm not tired! I'm really not tired!" Lin Yuzhen quickly turned around and grabbed
Jiang Ning's hand as she put on a pitiful looking expression.
"Don't close Lin Group, ok?”
"There are so many employees working for the company, so if you close the company, they'll have to look for a job all over again and that's so hard on them."
"Lin Group is developing so well and we're even a multinational corporation now.
We're the pride of Donghai, so you can't just close it down!"
Jiang Ning remained silent.
"Hubby...My wonderful hubby..."
"I was wrong and I won't work through the night or work overtime anymore, ok?"
"I'll change, ok? Hubbyyyyyy..."
The way she dragged her words to sound cutesy made Lin Yuzhen feel embarrassed by herself.
She had never been this coquettish before. This belongs to - ©.
"But this company has made my wife work too hard," said Jiang Ning. "Is it worth it?"
"It is!"
Lin Yuzhen did not hesitate and even her gaze was different from before.
"It's very worth it!" She grabbed Jiang Ning's hands and said very seriously, "This is a dream that's worth sacrificing my life to fulfil."
Lin Yuzhen was extremely serious now.
Jiang Ning looked at those eyes and knew that if he seriously shut Lin Group down, Lin Yuzhen would immediately lose her goal and lose her motivation and direction in life.
This woman worked so hard, but it was for others and not for herself.
How many people worked so hard all their lives to fulfil a dream that served others?
"But you are my dream.'
